908 Group Breaks Ground on 684-Bed Student Housing Project Near University of Florida

GAINESVILLE, FLA. — 908 Group has broken ground on Chapter House UF, a 684-bed student housing development located at 920 S.W. Depot Ave. in Gainesville near the University of Florida campus. The project is being developed in partnership with Batson-Cook Development Co. and an undisclosed, Fortune 100 insurance company. The community will offer 219 units alongside 9,000 square feet of shared amenity space.

The development team includes ARCO/Murray, Humphreys & Partners Architects and NV5. Pacific Life provided an undisclosed amount of construction financing. Asset Living has been tapped to manage Chapter House UF upon completion, which is scheduled for summer 2028.
