BROOKSHIRE, TEXAS — Local owner-operator Clay Development & Construction Inc. has broken ground on two industrial buildings totaling 552,240 square feet in Brookshire, a western suburb of Houston. The 291,720-square-foot Twinwood Distribution Center IV and the 260,520-square-foot Twinwood Distribution Center V are both part of the 200-acre first phase of Uplands Twinwood Business Park. The buildings both feature 36-foot clear heights, 69 dock-high doors, four drive-in ramps and 2,600 square feet of office space, in addition to a combined 342 car parking spaces and 120 trailer parking spaces. Completion is slated for the first quarter of next year. KBC Advisors has been tapped as the third-party leasing agency for the two buildings.
