DETROIT — Jarbou Ronnisch Construction (JRC) has acquired an office building located at 1265 Griswold St. in Detroit’s Capitol Park from Bedrock. The company is expanding its Detroit presence and will occupy 6,000 square feet of the building’s fourth floor. JRC, which anticipates moving into the space in the second quarter of 2027, will invest between $3 and $4 million in capital improvements, including façade renovations and tenant build-outs. Current tenants include Gensler.
The historic property totals 35,000 square feet and rises six stories. Constructed in 1897, the building was designed by the Detroit architectural firm Spier & Rohns. In 2013, Bedrock purchased the asset, which was renovated by Neumann Smith Architects.
JRC’s sister company, Symmetry Management, will serve as property manager.
