COLUMBIA, S.C. — Construction has started on the new regional office for the Veterans Benefits Administration in Columbia. The 116,000-square-foot, Class A office building will be situated on 10 acres on the Dorn VA Hospital campus. It is scheduled to house 500 employees and is scheduled for completion May 2009. Project partners include development and construction firm Miller-Valentine Group, and owner/developer Keenan Development.
