MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $8.3 million sale of two retail properties located in Milledgeville. An undisclosed buyer acquired Town Central Shopping Center, a 140,097-square-foot retail center, and an adjacent single-tenant property totaling 54,765 square feet. Food Depot occupies the single-tenant property. Tenants at Town Central Shopping Center, which was fully leased at the time of sale, include Tractor Supply Co. Zach Taylor and Eric Abbott of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller of the shopping center, and Robby Pfeiffer of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller of the single-tenant, Food Depot property. Taylor, Abbott and Pfeiffer worked together to procure the buyer. “This sale is a prime example of the robust demand for grocery-anchored retail centers with below-market rents,” says Taylor.

COLUMBUS, OHIO — DWG Capital Partners has acquired a 75,906-square-foot industrial facility in Columbus for an undisclosed price in a sale-leaseback transaction with Buckeye Shapeform. The property at 555 Marion Road features three dock doors and clear heights ranging from 12 to 25 feet. Phil DiGennaro and Dorothy Lee of Stream Capital Partners represented Buckeye Shapeform, a manufacturer whose specialties include custom fabrication of metal and plastic instrument enclosures, instrumentation and novelty cans as well as precision deep draw metal.
OMAHA, NEB. — Investors Realty has brokered the sale of the Candlewood Hills retail center in Omaha for $4.7 million. Located at 12424 W. Dodge Road, the property totals 11,700 square feet and is situated near a Costco store. Ember Grummons of Investors Realty represented the seller, Royce Candlewood WR LLC. Tim Kerrigan and Grant Kobes of Investors Realty represented the local buyer.
CAROL STREAM, ILL. — SVN Chicago Commercial has arranged the $1.4 million sale of a 34,536-square-foot office building in the Chicago suburb of Carol Stream. The Class C, multi-tenant property is located at 455 Kehoe Blvd. Jennifer Hopkins, Olivia Czyzynski and Caitlin Crawford of SVN represented the buyer, an out-of-state investment group that plans to lease the suites out as office and flex spaces.
MESA, ARIZ. — Orion Investment Real Estate has arranged the acquisition of a neighborhood retail center in Mesa. Superstition Marketplace LLC sold the asset to Electric Ave. LLC for $11.6 million, or $211 per square foot. Nick Miner of Orion represented the buyer, while the seller was self-represented in the off-market transaction.
Marcus & Millichap Negotiates $11.5M Sale of Comfort Suites Barstow Hotel in California

BARSTOW, CALIF. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Comfort Suites Barstow, a hotel in the Mojave Desert city of Barstow. A limited liability company sold the asset to an individual trust for $11.5 million. Located at 2571 Fisher Blvd., Comfort Suites Barstow offers 83 guest rooms. Andy Patel and Gordon Allred of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction.
DENVER — NorthPeak Commercial Advisors has arranged the sale of an apartment building located at 1335 N. Gaylord St. in Denver. The asset traded for $3.9 million, or $227,941 per unit. The 9,936-square-foot property features 17 apartments. Joe Hornstein and Scott Fetter of NorthPeak Commercial Advisors represented the undisclosed seller, while Greg Johnson and Conner Pieretti of NorthPeak Commercial Advisors represented the undisclosed buyer in the deal.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Vanguard Real Estate Advisors (VREA), a Dallas-based brokerage firm, has arranged the sale of CoHo Apartments, a 54-unit multifamily building in Fort Worth’s Near Southside neighborhood. CoHo Apartments exclusively offers studio apartments. Amenities include a rooftop deck, resident lounge, dog run and a gaming lounge. Jordan Cortez, Mason John, Haley Birmingham, and Will Droese of VREA represented the seller, Watermark Cos., in the transaction. The buyer and sales price were not disclosed.
LOWELL, IND. — John Deere has purchased 234 acres of land in Lowell, a city in northwest Indiana, for $7 million. The company plans to build a 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility. Nancy Frigo and Nicholas Smith of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty represented the seller, Hallmark Construction Co. Venture One will serve as the developer for the project, which is expected to create approximately 1,200 union construction jobs and 400 to 500 permanent positions upon completion. The project site, located at the southwest corner of I-65 South and Route 2, has gas, sewer and water availability.
PONTIAC, MICH. — The Jonna Group of Colliers Detroit has arranged the sale of a 92,509-square-foot retail property located at 600 N. Telegraph Road in Pontiac for an undisclosed price. Simon Jonna and Raymond Jonna of the brokerage firm represented the seller, a property management company from New York. The new owner, CNS Healthcare, is currently leasing the retail space to Value World Inc. and Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc.
