WESTMINSTER, COLO. — The Dinerstein Cos. has purchased a 7.8-acre land site at the northwest corner of Westminster Boulevard and West 109th Avenue in Westminster. City Office REIT sold the land for an undisclosed price. Dinerstein Cos. plans to develop a 261-unit multifamily property on the site, which is adjacent to the 300,000-square-foot Circle Point Corporate Center and in close proximately to more than 305,000 square feet of retail space at Westminster Promenade. Chris Cowan, Bryon Stevenson and Mackenzie Walker of Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily represented the seller in the deal.

Insight Property Group, PCCP Complete Renovation of 576-Unit Multifamily Community in Metro D.C.

FALLS CHURCH, VA. — Insight Property Group and PCCP LLC have completed the renovation, redesign and rebranding of Falls Green, a 576-unit multifamily community in Falls Church. The joint venture acquired the asset, formerly known as Oakwood Falls Church, in 2018. The property was originally built in 1974 as short-term corporate housing. Insight Property and PCCP redesigned the property into a market-rate apartment community with amenities including a child-friendly multi-purpose room, fitness center, pool, community market, clubhouse, concierge and a coworking lounge. The property offers studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans with rents starting in the mid-$1,300s. The community is situated at 501 Roosevelt Blvd., nine miles west of downtown Washington, D.C.
TITUSVILLE, FLA. — Extended Stay America Inc. has opened Extended Stay America Titusville-Space Coast, a 124-room hotel in Titusville. The four-story building features complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a fitness center, laundry room and a lobby with vending options. The rooms include fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stovetops, cookware, utensils, dishes, pillowtop beds, recliners, a workspace and TV streaming capabilities. The property is located at 4835 Helen Hauser Blvd., 13 miles west of Kennedy Space Center.
MYSTIC, CONN. — Locally based Lattizorri Development has completed Harbor Heights, a 121-unit luxury apartment community in the coastal Connecticut city of Mystic. The property is part of the Perkins Farm master-planned community and offers one- and two-bedroom units with stainless steel appliances, nickel hardware and granite countertops. Amenities include a pool, outdoor grilling area, fitness center and a dog park. Rents start at $1,600 per month for a one-bedroom unit and $2,100 per month for a two-bedroom unit.
Brookfield Opens New Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy Stores at Cumberland Mall in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Brookfield Properties has opened a new Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy at Cumberland Mall, an enclosed regional mall in Atlanta’s Cumberland-Galleria district. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Dick’s Sporting Goods will occupy the 70,000 square feet formerly leased to Sears. The Golf Galaxy, which will be adjacent to the Dick’s Sporting Goods, will offer in-store services and apparel and footwear from companies such as DSG, Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream, Fitness Gear, Nike, Adidas, Yeti, The North Face, Callaway and TaylorMade. Golf Galaxy is a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based Dick’s Sporting Goods. The stores will also host a grand opening event beginning today. In early July, Brookfield unveiled plans to redevelop the eastern portion of Cumberland Mall into a mixed-use property featuring 445,000 square feet of office space, 312 multifamily residences, 31,200 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 10 bus bays. Brookfield hopes to complete Cumberland Mall’s phased redevelopment in 2025.
SEA BRIGHT, N.J. — New Jersey-based Innzen Hospitality has nearly completed the renovation of the BeachWalk Hotel in the coastal city of Sea Bright. The project includes the addition of 37 more rooms for a total of 76, as well as upgrades to the hotel’s amenity spaces. The property also offers 40 dock slips and 80 parking spaces. Life Hospitality will manage the newly renovated hotel.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Realty Capital Management and ArchCo Residential have completed The Dylan, a multifamily project in Fort Worth that consists of 211 apartments, 16 townhomes and 12,212 square feet of commercial space. The property, located on the city’s southwest side, spans nine acres and offers amenities such as a pool and a fitness center. CNK Architects designed the project, and Galaxy Builders was the general contractor. Rents start at roughly $1,100 per month for a one-bedroom unit.
VICTORIA, MINN. — Bethesda, a national Christian organization that provides homes and other services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is opening Bethesda Cornerstone Village Victoria, located at 1519 82nd St. in Victoria, on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Offering apartments and villas, the community is restricted to adults age 55 or older and independent adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bethesda Cornerstone Village Victoria will feature 37 apartment homes and 15 villa homes, with up to 20 percent of the residences serving people with a disability who live independently. Homes will feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, soundproofing and patios or balconies. Villa homes offer attached one- or two-car garages and apartment homes feature an underground parking garage. Community amenities will include a community center for events and activities and a fitness center with an array of exercise machines and classes. Lutheran Church Extension Fund provided financing for the housing community, which was designed by New York-based QPK Design. Kraus-Anderson served as general contractor and construction manager for the development.
Boston Capital Invests in Two Affordable Apartment Communities in Indiana with RealAmerica Development

FISHERS AND PLAINFIELD, IND. — Boston Capital is investing in the construction of two affordable multifamily properties in Indiana: the 62-unit SouthPointe Village Apartments in Fishers and the 52-unit Haven Homes in Plainfield. The investments represent Boston Capital’s second and third partnerships with Indianapolis-based RealAmerica Development. Located 14 miles northeast of Indianapolis, SouthPointe Village will feature 19 one-bedroom units and 43 two-bedroom units in a single residential building. Thirteen of the units will be set aside for persons with developmental disabilities. Units will offer open-concept floor plans, built-in kitchen appliances, free Wi-Fi and in-unit washers and dryers. Additionally, the property will include a community room, computer center, fitness center, classes and space for service providers, an indoor playground, library and access to the Nickle Plate Trail. Situated near the Indianapolis International Airport, Haven Homes will feature 16 one-bedroom units, 20 two-bedroom units and 16 three-bedroom units in two residential buildings. MESA, ARIZ. — Specialty investment bank Ziegler has provided $250.8 million in financing for the development of Legacy Sports Park, located roughly 20 miles outside Phoenix in Mesa. Legacy Cares, a nonprofit organization providing sports opportunities to people of all ages and economic backgrounds, is developing the 320-acre project.
