NEW YORK CITY — Rockefeller Group has topped out Rose Hill, a 123-unit condominium building in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan. The building, located at 30 East 29th Street, rises 600 feet and 45 stories and will offer floor plans ranging from studio to four-bedroom units, including penthouses. Amenities will include a resident bar and lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, fitness center, bike workshop, billiards room, pet salon and a studio guest suite available for reservation. Closings are expected to begin in late 2020. CentraRuddy Architecture designed the building and the interior and Lendlease is the general contractor.

RINCON, GA. — Transportation holding company OmniTRAX Inc. and investment firm The Broe Group have broken ground on a build-to-suit facility within Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub, an industrial park located in Effingham County 12 miles from the Port of Savannah. Denver-based OmniTRAX is the master developer of the 2,700-acre industrial park owned by Effingham County Industrial Development Authority. Louisville, Ky.-based A&R Logistics Inc. has signed a 12-year lease guaranteeing approximately 610,000 square feet of the project with an option to expand to 1 million square feet. Completion of the facility is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020. OmniTRAX will construct more than seven miles of park-serving rail infrastructure, a multi-customer OmniTRAX rail yard located nearby and a 200-plus-car dedicated rail yard for A&R. OmniTRAX will spend $92 million constructing the building and railyard where A&R will package and ship plastic pellets, according to the Savannah Morning News. A&R will receive, process and send out shipments internationally from the industrial park via its connection with Class 1 railroads CSX and Norfolk Southern.

RALEIGH, N.C. — SLI Capital, a real estate investment management firm, and Atlas Stark, a Raleigh-based real estate development firm, will soon begin the construction of East End Market, a 65,000-square-foot adaptive reuse project located in Raleigh’s East End neighborhood. Common Desk, a Dallas-based coworking space provider, signed on to take 28,423 square feet in East End Market in partnership with Workplace Hospitality Management, which is expanding Common Desk throughout the Carolinas and Tennessee. Common Desk’s East End Market location will feature space for community events, private offices and enterprise suites, as well as custom design elements like local art installations, industrial-sized roll-up doors, conference rooms and an outdoor patio. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2020.

BROOKSHIRE, TEXAS — Stream Realty Partners has acquired 300 acres in the western Houston suburb of Brookshire for the development of Empire West Business Park, an industrial development that fronts Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 90. The initial phase of Stream’s development strategy will center on the delivery of 1 million square feet of speculative product across three buildings. A construction timeline was not released.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — CRG Development has broken ground on 401 Hemphill Apartments, a 242-unit community located in the Near Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth. The property will offer amenities such as a pool, fitness center, coworking space, outdoor grilling stations and a 277-space parking garage. Lamar Johnson Collaborative designed the project, and Cadence McShane is the general contractor. Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021.

DALLAS — A partnership between Hines, Westdale Real Estate Investment & Management and Ivanhoe Cambridge has acquired land in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas for the development of The Stack Deep Ellum, a 215,000-square-foot commercial project. The 16-story building will be located at 2700 Commerce St. and feature 200,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 5G Studio Collaborative is the architect for the project, construction of which is scheduled to begin in December.

OAK PARK, ILL. — Albion Residential has completed Albion Oak Park in suburban Chicago. The 265-unit luxury apartment development is located at 1000 Lake St. Floor plans range from studios to three-bedroom units. The property features 7,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Amenities include 20,000 square feet of outdoor space in addition to a wellness center, podcast studio, pet spa and indoor dog room. A 7,000-square-foot lobby is open to the public. Albion developed the project in partnership with Wilton Investment Management. CIBC and Associated Bank provided financing. Village Green manages the property. Clark Construction was the general contractor for the project. Monthly rental rates start at $1,750.

MIDDLETON, WIS. — Hy Cite Enterprises has opened its 90,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Middleton, a suburb of Madison. Designed by EUA and built by Ideal Builders, the new office consolidates three offices and multiple departments into one building. Amenities include a fitness center, café, outdoor garden, demonstration kitchen and underground parking. The project incorporates energy-efficient features such as a solar panel array and high levels of insulation. Hy Cite sells kitchenware through a network of 6,000 independent distributors in the United States, Mexico and South America.

WARREN, MICH. — U-Haul is opening a facility at a former Kmart store at 2000 Ten Mile Road in Warren. Once renovations are complete at the 121,568-square-foot building, the property will house approximately 800 indoor self-storage units. U-Haul will also offer truck and trailer sharing, towing equipment and moving supplies at the 11.5-acre property. The company expects to employ at least 15 team members at the store, which is slated to open by the end of January.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA. — American Real Estate Partners (AREP), Oliver Tyrone Pulver Corp. (OTP) and Partners Group are underway on the development of Seven Tower Bridge, a 260,000-square-foot office building in Conshohocken, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. OTP will lease 4,000 square feet of space in the new building, and asset management firm Hamilton Lane will lease 130,000 square feet. Amenities include walking paths, a 30-mile bike trail and a fitness center. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the building, which is slated for delivery in early 2021.
