NASHVILLE, TENN. — WeWork will open its third Nashville location this fall. The newest site will be situated in the city’s North Gulch district, spanning 65,000 square feet and two stories at 500 11th Ave. N. within Capitol View. A joint venture between Boyle Investment Co., Northwestern Mutual and Northwood Ravin developed Capitol View, a 32-acre mixed-use development offering 378 residential units, retail space, restaurants and a 2.5-acre park. WeWork expects the space to house up to 1,000 workers. WeWork’s other two Nashville locations are in downtown (1,300 desks) and East Nashville (470 desks).

MARIETTA, GA. — Marietta Square Market, an 18,500-square-foot food hall, has opened at 68 N. Marietta Parkway NW in the Historic Marietta Square District. Concordia Properties LLC and Creative Culinary Ventures LLC developed the asset, which is located adjacent to historic railroad tracks, to resemble a turn-of-the-century train station. Marietta Square Market offers a central bar, indoor and outdoor seating and 20 vendors. Kelly Wilson of Ackerman Retail is handling leasing efforts for Marietta Square Market.
SAN ANTONIO — Dallas-based ARCO/Murray has broken ground on an entertainment facility in San Antonio for Chicken N Pickle, a concept that features pickle ball, bocce ball, shuffleboard and other games. The venue will also include an 18,000-square-foot restaurant. Kansas City-based Yeager Architecture is designing the property, a completion date for which was not released.
Madison Realty Capital Provides $138M Construction Loan for Mixed-Use Property in West Harlem

NEW YORK CITY — Madison Realty Capital (MRC) has provided a $138 million construction loan for a mixed-use development project in the West Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. Located at 300 W. 122nd St., the 13-story, 211,893-square-foot property will include 155 condominium units and ground-floor retail space slated for a grocery store. MRC provided the financing to borrower Happy Living Development. Richard Horowitz, Ryan Horowitz and Adam Horowitz of Cooper-Horowitz LLC brokered the transaction on behalf of the borrower. The building’s foundation has already been completed.
O’FALLON, MO. — Cosmos Corp., a pet care manufacturing company, has unveiled plans to expand its presence in Missouri with a $25.7 million new headquarters in O’Fallon, about 17 miles east of St. Louis. The 240,000-square-foot property will serve as the site for all administration, manufacturing and distribution operations. The new facility will create approximately 60 full-time jobs. Wentzville-based Cosmos provides a variety of pet grooming, dental and natural flea and tick products under its TropiClean and Naturel Promise brand lines. The company currently employs more than 100 people locally and has outgrown its existing facility. Its nonprofit organization, Gifts of Love, will be co-located at the new O’Fallon headquarters. Completion of the new facility is slated for early 2020.
HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. — NAI James Hanson has brokered the $6.6 million sale of an office building in Harrington Park. Located at 200 Old Hook Road, the asset is the former headquarters of water service company United Water, which vacated the building in 2014. The property was constructed in 1977. Andrew Somple and Greg James of NAI James Hanson represented the seller, SUEZ Water, formerly United Water, in the transaction. Allegro Senior Living acquired the property and plans to reposition the property as a senior living facility. The location will be Allegro’s first facility in New Jersey. Allegro and joint venture partner, United Way, have received approvals to construct 83 independent living apartments and 92 assisted living units, of which 25 are memory care units.
Holland Partner Group, MVE+Partners Complete Two Residential Towers in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Holland Partner Group, as developer, and MVE+Partners, as architect, designer and planner, have completed the development of The Griffin and The Grace on Spring. The two 24-story residential towers are located at the intersection of Eight and Spring streets in downtown Los Angeles. The Griffin on Spring features 275 apartments above 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, while The Grace on Spring consists of 300 units above 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Both towers include a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as observatory rooftop lounges, a fitness center with separate yoga studio, business center, conference rooms, swimming pool, and entertainment lounge with kitchen, bar, media and billiards.
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — The Phoenix office of Irgens has broken ground on 17 Three Hundred at Perimeter Center, a two-story office/healthcare building in Scottsdale. Located at 17300 N. Perimeter Drive, the property will feature 47,322 square feet of Class A office and healthcare space. Additionally, the building will feature extensive glass lines, contemporary horizontal window shades, balconies, operable windows and mature landscaping. Slated for completion in October, the building will be the second property in the Irgens Perimeter Center project. The project team includes Irgens Partners as developer, Vertical Design Studio as architect, RSG Builders as contractor and Greg Mayer of Cushman & Wakefield as leasing agent.
CAVE CREEK, ARIZ. — Scottsdale, Ariz.-based 1784 Capital Holdings has purchased a five-acre land parcel, located at 4725 E. Dynamite Blvd. in Cave Creek. P&G Properties LLC and Arizona LLC sold the property for an undisclosed price. The buyer plans to develop Tatum Self-Storage, a 120,182-square-foot self-storage property, on the site. The Class A, climate-controlled development will include two stories of above-ground storage and one below-ground level. Completion is slated for first-quarter 2020.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Locally based developers PN Hoffman and Madison Marquette have broken ground on Phase II of The Wharf, a $2.5 billion, mixed-use project fronting the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. At full build-out, Phase II will feature 625,000 square feet of Class A office space, 255 apartments, 96 condominium units, 131 hotel rooms and a 109,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Phase II will also include a 1.5-acre park, two underground parking garages with more than 1,000 spaces, and additional dockage totaling 223 slips at The Wharf Marina. Phase I of The Wharf, which spans a mile and is the largest private development in the city, opened in October 2017. Phase I included three hotels, two multifamily and condominium buildings, and 210,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space. The design team behind Phase II includes more than a dozen architects. Cianbro is the general contractor for construction of the marina component, and Balfour Beatty is handling construction of the office buildings and below-grade parking garages.
