KYLE, TEXAS — South Korea-based ENF Technology Co., Ltd., a leading provider of electronic materials to Samsung and the U.S. high-tech market, will build a $45 million headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility in Kyle, about 20 miles south of downtown Austin. The 100,000-square-foot facility, construction of which is expected to be complete in 2020, will be situated on 25 acres within the Plum Creek master-planned community. The company expects to hire 45 to 50 new workers in the short term and could expand to 80 employees in the future. ENF’s facility will also serve large tech firms like Micron, Texas Instruments and Intel. Jerry Heare, SIOR at Austin-based Commercial Industrial Properties, represented ENF in the site selection.

Hyatt-Regency-Stonebriar-Frisco-Texas

FRISCO, TEXAS — Developer Sam Moon Group is topping off the Hyatt Regency Stonebriar, an 18-story hotel in Frisco. Located near Dr. Pepper Ballpark, the 303-room hotel is attached to the Stonebriar Centre Mall and features a 54,585-square-foot conference center. Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor and HKS Inc. is the architect. Completion is slated for late spring 2020.

Ridgewood-Plaza-II-San-Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — Worth & Associates has broken ground on two commercial properties totaling 220,000 square feet in San Antonio. RidgeWood Plaza II will be a 123,000-square-foot office building that will be situated on 15 acres, and TSAOG’s Ridgewood Orthopaedic Center will be a 97,000-square-foot medical facility. Both projects, which are situated within RidgeWood Park, are slated for a summer 2020 completion. The site also features two restaurant pad sites fronting U.S. Highway 281.

LITTLETON, MASS. — Nauset Construction, a locally based general contractor, will soon begin construction of a 60,000-square-foot office project in Littleton, about 35 miles west of Boston, that will serve as the new headquarters for Workers Credit Union. Designed by Maugel Architects, the project will renovate the existing 44,000-square-foot structure and deliver an additional 16,000 square feet of Class A space. Amenities will include a conference room, café, outdoor dining patio and a fitness center.

PACIFIC, MO. — L. Keeley Construction and HDA Architects have completed a new corporate headquarters for ADB Cos. in Pacific, about 35 miles west of St. Louis. The project consists of a 36,852-square-foot office building and a 24,137-square-foot maintenance building. Features include exposed ceilings, concrete floors, wood-accent walls, a two-story lobby entrance and a lounge space. ADB Cos. provides solutions for the communications, utility and technology industries. ADB Cos. and L. Keeley Construction are part of St. Louis-based Keeley Cos.

RENO, NEV. — Albertsons Cos. has closed escrow on a 5.4-acre land site at the Damonte Ranch Town Center In Reno. Kelly Bland of NAI Alliance assisted in the sale of the property. The seller and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The buyer plans to build a 63,000-square-foot Safeway store on the site by 2021. The store will be the fourth anchor tenant in the 50-acre shopping center. Other tenants include The Home Depot, RC Willey and Office Depot. Safeway Northern California is a division of Albertsons Cos., which operates more than 280 stores across northern California, Nevada and Hawaii under four banners: Andronico’s, Safeway, Safeway Community Markets and Vons.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Atlanta-based NitNeil Partners will develop an 877-unit self-storage facility at 2021 Airport Blvd in Austin. The four-story, 100,000-square-foot facility will be developed within a Qualified Opportunity Zone on the city’s east side. The opening is currently scheduled for March 2020.

PHILADELPHIA — Comcast Spectator and partner The Cordish Cos. have unveiled plans to build a $50 million Esports Arena in South Philadelphia. The sports facility will serve as the home arena for the Philadelphia Fusion of the international Overwatch League. The arena will be constructed near the city’s other major sports stadiums. The 60,000-square-foot building will include seating for 3,500 and will contain 10,000 square feet set aside for training facilities and team offices. Construction is expected to begin this summer and be completed in 2021. Kansas City-based firm Populous will serve as lead architect.

RENO, NEV. — Carson City, Nev.-based Mission Senior Living has broken ground on Mountain Lakes Estates Retirement Community in Reno. The 121,000-square-foot, four-story building will feature 130 active adult apartments for residents of at least 55 years of age. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2020. The new property will be one of six Mission Senior Living communities, with additional locations in Nevada, Arizona and Oregon.

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — Urban Spaces has broken ground on Kendall East, a four-story, 136-unit, mixed-use development in the Kendall Square neighborhood of Cambridge. The project is located at 99-119 1st St., 18 Hurley St. and 29 Charles St. Designed by architectural firm Perkins Eastman, the development will also include 15,000 square feet of retail as well as 23 parking spaces. Construction is slated for completion in 2020.
