MONTVILLE, CONN. — Lyman Real Estate has arranged the sale of three abutting parcels of land in Montville. The sales price was undisclosed. The largest parcel, .65 acres, is located at 2260 Route 32. It abuts a nearly half-acre parcel on 11 Gallivan Lane and an even smaller parcel behind it on Meadow Lane. Ron Lyman of Lyman Real Estate represented the seller, Steven Lombardi of Moosup, in the transaction. Joanna Konicki of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer, Yost Holdings LLC.

LAKEWOOD, COLO. — Wood Partners has started construction of Alta Green Mountain, a multifamily community in the Lakewood suburb of Denver. Located at 13155 W. Mississippi Court, the property will feature 260 garden-style apartments in a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, with nearly 50 percent of the units offering attached garages. Additionally, units will feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and 42-inch wood cabinetry. Community amenities will include a clubhouse with fitness center and cyber café, a resort-style swimming pool, a bicycle/ski repair shop and car charging stations. The property is slated to open in August, with pre-leasing beginning in July.

Mo-Bettahs-Pleasant-Grove-UT

PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH — Evergreen Devco has opened Pleasant Grove Town Center, its first retail development in Utah. Located at 855 W. State St. in Pleasant Grove, the 1-acre site is now home to Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, which opened on Feb. 22, and Beans & Brews Coffee House, which opened in late January. The third, and final, anchor tenant, Dough Co., is scheduled to open its third edible cookie dough shop at the retail center this spring. Completed in November 2018, the fully leased development site was built by Draper, Utah-based Rimrock Construction and designed by Farnsworth Group.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Gardner Tanenbaum Holdings will develop Liberty Creek Village, a 516-unit apartment community in Oklahoma City. Designed by Gardner Architects, the property will offer two pools, outdoor entertainment areas, a full-size basketball court, fitness center and a dog park. Units will feature quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and washer/dryer connections. Liberty Creek Village is expected to open in 2020.

FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS — Bridgeview Realty Capital, in collaboration with ACRON USA, Tulsa OK and First Capital Bank of Texas, has completed construction of a seniors housing community in the central Texas city of Fredericksburg. Development costs were estimated at $21 million for the 73,000-square-foot property, which was not named and offers 60 assisted living units and 24 memory care units. Approximately 50 percent of the newly delivered space is preleased, and Bridgeview is planning a second phase to add independent living units.

ATLANTA — Whole Foods Market will celebrate its 500th store on Friday, April 5 with the opening of Whole Foods Market Midtown, a 70,000-square-foot, four-story location situated at 22 W. 14th St. in Midtown Atlanta, about four miles north of downtown Atlanta. According to Atlanta Business Chronicle, the development team comprises developer Related Group, general contractor Balfour Beatty and architect Phillips Partnership. The newest location will be the 12th in Atlanta and the flagship store of the Southeast region. The Whole Foods will offer four fast-casual eateries across the four levels, as well as a rooftop bar. Atlanta Business Chronicle also reports the new store will include new locations of Farmburger and Dtox Juice.

BETHESDA, MD. — ZOM Living and Mitsui Fudosan America will break ground on Maizon Bethesda, a 229-unit apartment building in Bethesda. The community will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Amenities will include a rooftop deck, swimming pool, package services, grilling areas and a fitness center. The asset will be situated two blocks from the Bethesda Metro Station and about seven miles north of downtown Washington, D.C., and about three miles east of Capital Crescent Trail. SK+I is the designer and architect, and Balfour Beatty will serve as the general contractor. Anticipated completion is slated for October 2020.

HOUSTON — Illinois-based industrial developer Molto Properties has broken ground on 290 Northwest Business Center, a 136,651-square-foot distribution center that will be located in northwest Houston. The property, which is expected to be complete by August, will be able to accommodate one or two tenants. Building features will include 32-foot clear heights, an ESFR sprinkler system, 2,586 square feet of office space, 121 parking spaces and a loading area with 30 dock-high doors. Lee & Associates will handle leasing of the facility.

DUNWOODY, GA. — Batson-Cook Development Co. (BCDC) and Adevco Corp. have broken ground on a 112,000-square-foot Extra Space Storage facility in Dunwoody. The planned three-story, climate-controlled building will offer 804 storage units. Anticipated completion is set for early 2021. The asset is situated at 4444 N. Shallowford Road, about 16 miles north of downtown Atlanta. Georgia’s Own Credit Union is providing construction financing, BCDC and Adevco are providing equity and Extra Space Storage will provide leasing and property management.

FRISCO, TEXAS — Cinemark Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CNK) will open CUT! by Cinemark, a 10-screen theater that will be located at 6969 U.S. Highway 380 in the northern Dallas suburb of Frisco. The venue will offer original cuisine, a full-service bar with handcrafted cocktails and oversized recliners, as well as patio and lounge space. The opening is scheduled for Thursday, March 7.
