RICHARDSON, TEXAS — Information technology consulting firm Infosys Ltd. will open an innovation hub in the northeastern Dallas suburb of Richardson, bringing 500 new jobs and $12.3 million in capital investment to the area by 2020. Construction of the new facility is expected to be complete by 2020. Infosys is based in Bengaluru, India, and operates in 45 countries, employing more than 200,000 people.

MONROE, OHIO — The Kroger Co. and Ocado, an online grocery retailer, have selected Monroe, Ohio, for the partnership’s first customer fulfillment center in the U.S. Subject to securing state and local incentives, Kroger’s first customer fulfillment center will consist of an automated warehouse facility with digital and robotic capabilities. Kroger is investing $55 million to build the first facility, which will span 335,000 square feet and is expected to generate more than 410 jobs. The company plans to open 20 such developments.
CHICAGO — Related Midwest has opened One Bennett Park in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. The 70-story apartment tower is the first residential tower designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The property is anchored by Bennett Park, a 1.7-acre green space designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates set to open in summer 2019. The tower includes 279 apartment units, located on floors four through 39. Four-bedroom penthouses are located on the top three floors. Monthly rents start at $3,705. One Bennett Park also includes 69 condominiums, which are located on floors 41 through 66. Purchase prices start at $2 million. The condos are slated for completion in spring 2019. Floors three and four include 7,000 square feet of fitness facilities, a 60-foot indoor pool, 10,000-square-foot outdoor deck, children’s play suite, lounge area and entertainment suite.
DOWNERS GROVE, ILL. — Holladay Properties has opened Burlington Station, an 89-unit luxury apartment complex in Downers Grove. The site, located at 5100 Forest Ave., previously housed a bank building. The property features an 8,000-square-foot outdoor amenity deck in addition to a fitness center, cyber café and covered parking. Monthly rents start at approximately $1,600.
CARTERSVILLE, GA. — Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal announced that Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. will invest $138 million to complete a two-phase expansion at its campus in Cartersville. Upon completion of the new 254,000-square-foot facility, manufacturer’s campus will house 2,100 employees. The new positions will include production, support and administration with an annual production capacity of 2.4 million passenger vehicle tires. In 2016, Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. became the Toyo Tire Group’s largest manufacturing operation with an annual production capacity of 11.5 million tires. Toyo Tire began operations in Cartersville in 2006.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — The City of Grand Prairie, located just west of Dallas, has opened The Epic, a 125,000-square-foot fitness and entertainment center. Situated within EpicCentral, a 172-acre development that includes a water park and adult activity center, The Epic features fitness facilities, entertainment and event space, as well as multiple onsite dining options. Architecture firm HKS designed the facility. The grand opening was held Saturday, Nov. 17. The development team will also break ground in January on a 10-acre PlayGrand Adventures park, which will be also located within EpicCentral.
RADNOR, PA. — IMC Construction has broken ground on Penn Medicine Radnor, a four-story, 250,000-square-foot medical center in Radnor. Located at 145 King of Prussia Road, the center will house a heart and vascular center, cancer care, women’s health, orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine, neurosciences and other medical subspecialties. An outpatient surgery suite will include six surgical and four endoscopy rooms, along with radiology and laboratory services. Brandywine Realty Trust will purchase and serve as the designated developer and manager of the site, and develop an adjacent office space and a hotel on property. The outpatient center is expected to be complete in Spring 2020.
Neenan Co. Begins Construction of 102,000 SF Madwire Headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado

FORT COLLINS, COLO. — The Neenan Co. has started constructed of the new headquarters for Madwire in Fort Collins. Owned by 2001 Danfield LLC, a Northern Colorado investor group that includes Curt Burgener, Brian Stahl, Dave Derbes and Troy Peterson, the 102,000-square-foot is being developed by Peakstone Development. Located at 3405 S. Timberline Road, the redeveloped property will activate a building that has been vacant for two years. The digital marketing software company will expand into the remodeled 102,000-square-foot building, which will accommodate 700 employees. Madwire currently occupies 70,000 square feet in a multi-tenant office building. The project will revitalize the vacant facility, which was built in 1980. The remodeled building will feature breakout spaces, an auditorium, a large gym with multiple sport offerings, and an outdoor patio and deck. Completion is slated for May 2019.
MOUNT COMFORT, IND. — Cabot Properties has purchased a 27.9-acre land site in Mount Comfort near Indianapolis with plans to develop a 440,000-square-foot industrial building. Known as Velocity 70 Trade Center Building 4, the building will be developed on a speculative basis and feature a clear height of 36 feet, LED lighting, 205 car parking spaces, 56 trailer spaces and 32 dock positions. Alex Cantu of Colliers International brokered the sale of the land site. Jason Speckman and Brian Zurawski of Colliers will market the facility for lease on behalf of Cabot. Browning Construction has been hired to construct the building, with delivery slated for spring 2019. Velocity 70 is a logistics park with immediate access to I-70. The first three buildings house tenants such as Smithfield Foods Inc., Spectra Premium Corp. and Atkins Nutritionals.
DETROIT — Plum Market has unveiled plans to open a location inside the Ally Detroit Center at 500 Woodward Ave. The 8,000-square-foot store will offer fast-casual dining options, grab-and-go items, select groceries and a full-service bar. Set to open in summer 2019, the store will be Plum Market’s first “street concept” location. Michigan-based Plum Market announced earlier this year that it would open a similar concept at the new Detroit Pistons Performance Center in spring 2019. Bedrock owns the Ally Detroit Center.
