DORAL, FLA. — CBRE has arranged the sale of The Offices at Doral Square, a 141,246-square-foot office building located at 8600 N.W. 36th St. in Doral, a suburb of Miami. The Class A property is the office component of Doral Square, a mixed-use development that also features 150,000 square feet of shops and restaurants. A partnership comprising “several Miami families” purchased the asset from the undisclosed seller. The sales price was also not disclosed. Christian Lee, Sean Kelly, Amy Julian, Andrew Chilgren, Marcos Minaya, Tom Rappa, James Carr and Matthew Lee of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction.

MIAMI — Whitman Family Development has submitted plans for a mixed-use project at its Bal Harbour Shops in Miami’s Bal Harbour village. Plans call for 600 apartment units, 40 percent of which are earmarked for workforce housing and 60 percent of which will be luxury housing. There will also be a 70-room, 20-story hotel and an additional 45,700 square feet of retail space. Bal Harbour Shops comprises more than 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment options. The open-air, luxury retail center, which is home to brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. and Valentino, is currently undergoing a $550 million retail expansion that will add about 250,000 square feet, nearly doubling the center’s current retail space. The expansion will accommodate the addition of 35 new upscale stores and restaurants. The new housing development is made possible by Florida’s Live Local Act, a bipartisan bill passed by the Florida legislature last year in response to the critical need for affordable and attainable housing statewide. TAMPA, FLA. — Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $55.6 million sale of Tampa Airport Logistics, a newly constructed industrial park in Tampa’s Airport submarket spanning nearly 300,000 square feet. The two-building property is located at 5450 Johns Road and 5416 W. Sligh Ave., about six miles north of Tampa International Airport. Tampa Airport Logistics was fully leased at the time of sale and features 32- to 36-foot clear heights, 52- by 50-foot column spacing, ESFR fire protection and a 192-foot shared truck court. Clarion Partners purchased the property on behalf of a separate client from PCCP LLC. Rick Brugge, Mike Davis, Rick Colon, Dominic Montazemi, Ryan Jenkins and Chloe Strada of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction.

MIAMI BEACH, FLA. — Rentyl Resorts plans to develop a 44-unit boutique hotel at 2814 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach. Upon completion, the hotel will feature ground-level restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as direct beach access. The project is a partnership between Rentyl, DaVinci Hospitality Group and Ferrari Group. The construction timeline and name for the new hotel were not disclosed.

MIAMI — Terra and Grass River Property, two Miami-based development firms, have completed construction of Grove Central, a transit-oriented, mixed-use development in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. The property comprises a 23-story apartment tower, 1,250-space public parking garage and 170,000 square feet of retail space leased to tenants including Target and Sprouts Farmers Market. Grove Central is a public-private partnership between the co-developers and Miami-Dade County, which owns the land. The development is located at the intersection of US Highway 1 and SW 27th Avenue and connects to the adjacent Coconut Grove Metrorail Station. The project interfaces directly with The Underline, a 10-mile linear park that stretches from the Dadeland South Metrorail Station to the Miami River in downtown’s Brickell district, as well as Miami-Dade County’s bus system and the City of Miami’s trolley network. According to Terra and Grass River Property, Grove Central generated more than 1,600 construction jobs during its development and nearly 500 permanent full-time and part-time positions. Located on Jog Road, the property comprises residences in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. The community’s 6,000-square-foot clubhouse features a heated swimming pool with cabanas, grilling stations and a pavilion. PENSACOLA, FLA. — Go Store It Self Storage, an affiliate of Madison Capital Group, has opened a new, 530-unit self-storage facility at 3670 N. L St. in Pensacola. Totaling 530 units, the property features climate control, as well as recorded video surveillance and keypad access for security. BenCo Construction completed the project, an adaptive reuse of a former office building, on behalf of Go Store It. Monthly rental rates at the property begin at $36, according to the facility website.

MIAMI — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $17.7 million sale of a Days Inn hotel located at 7250 N.W. 11th St. in Miami. The 103-room hotel, which includes an onsite Beat Culture Brewery & Restaurant, is situated on the campus of Miami International Airport. Leo Reilly and Robert Hunter of Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office represented the seller, a private investor, in the transaction. The team also procured the Massachusetts-based buyer. Both parties requested anonymity.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — CBRE has secured a $17 million loan for the refinancing of Galt Ocean Marketplace, a 105,589-square-foot shopping center located at 3700-4032 N. Ocean Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Winn-Dixie anchors the property, which was built in 1988 and was 96 percent occupied at the time of sale. Other tenants at the center include CVS/pharmacy, Holy Cross Hospital and McDonald’s. Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based Kitson & Partners acquired the property in 2006. Paul Ahmed and Mackenzie Lampman of CBRE arranged the financing through a regional bank on behalf of the borrower.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — Black Salmon and LD&D plan to co-develop Gallery Haus, a 23-story multifamily tower in the Tampa Bay city of St. Petersburg. The $115 million project will be located at 155 17th St. S, which is adjacent to the upcoming $6.5 billion overhaul of Tropicana Field, the home ballpark of the Tampa Bay Rays. Black Salmon and LD&D purchased the 0.8-acre site last month for a little more than $9 million. The duo plan to break ground on Gallery Haus in the fourth quarter. The project will include 10,000 square feet of amenities and coworking space, as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-level retail space.
