NEW YORK CITY — Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc. (KDA) has arranged the $4.2 million sale of a 31,000-square-foot building at 83-14 72nd Drive in the Glendale neighborhood of Queens. Grant Dolgin and Dmitri Gourianov of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, along with Joseph Eliasoph of Sholom & Zuckerbrot represented the seller, Franco-American Novelty Co., in the transaction. Charles Wong from Greiner Maltz worked on behalf of the buyer, Utopia Produce Inc. The one-story warehouse at 83-14 72nd Drive features a 4,000-square-foot office as well as 4,600 square feet of land. The building has one drive-in door, 20-foot ceilings and gas heat.

BOSTON — Diamond Express Air Freight has signed a lease for 9,514 square feet at 230 McClellan Highway in East Boston near Logan International Airport. The five-building air freight park was 96 percent occupied at the time of the lease. Richard McKinnon of The Grossman Cos. represented the landlord, 230-240 McClellan Highway LLC, in the transaction.
HOUSTON — Developer Skanska has broken ground on a 280,000-square-foot data center facility in Houston for CyrusOne, an information technology infrastructure provider serving more than 600 clients in a variety of industries. The building, which will include 34,000 square feet of shell office space, will be the third at CyrusOne’s Houston West campus. Upon the building’s completion, the Houston West campus will comprise more than 1 million square feet. Kirksey Architecture provided design services for the project.
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH. — Colliers International has arranged a 13,795-square-foot industrial lease at 6699 Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights. Peter E. Kepic, Peter J. Kepic and Ryan Brittain of Colliers International represented both the tenant, CleanTech Environmental Inc., and the landlord, American & Import Auto Parts Inc. in the transaction.
AVENEL, N.J. — Cushman & Wakefield’s metropolitan area capital markets group has arranged the $29 million sale of five industrial buildings in Avenel, located about 13 miles south of Newark. TA Associates purchased the portfolio, which includes 329,000 square feet. The portfolio is located less than two miles off Exit 12 of the Turnpike, 20 minutes from the port and Newark Liberty International Airport and 25 miles from Midtown Manhattan. David Bernhaut, Andrew Merin, Gary Gabriel and Kyle Schmidt of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the sale.
CHANDLER, ARIZ. – A 93,500-square-foot industrial building at the Chandler Corporate Center has sold to Desert Palm Management Group for $6.3 million. The property is located at 450 N. McClintock Drive near the Chandler Municipal Airport, I-10, Loop 101 and Loop 202. Notable tenants at the space include Creative Leather and SW Bakery (Dunkin’ Donuts), among others. Desert Palm was represented by Greg Hopley of Colliers International. The seller was Pathfinder TRF. M. LLC.
MEMPHIS, TENN. — Exeter Property Group has purchased a 4.4 million-square-foot portfolio of industrial properties in Memphis, Nashville and Columbus, Ohio, for $132 million. Exeter purchased the eight-property portfolio from LNR Property LLC, the special servicer appointed to the portfolio upon its transfer from London-based Strategic Realty Advisors Ltd. in June 2013. Four of the properties, totaling more than 2.1 million square feet, are located in Memphis. Andrew Phillips of Colliers International’s Memphis office, along with Steve Timmel of the firm’s Cincinnati office, represented LNR in the transaction.
BROADVIEW, ILL. — Reliable Industries has sold its 16,600-square-foot manufacturing facility at 1920 Beach St. in Broadview. Indian Joe Properties purchased the building, which is now fully leased by custom closet designer Crooked Oak. Duke Botthof and Steve Sullivan with NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group represented Reliable Industries in the transaction. Dave Prioletti of CBRE represented the buyer.
LEWISVILLE, TEXAS — Bob Moore Construction has broken ground on a new 421,000-square-foot flex space complex in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville. Flooring Services Inc., a family of companies that has provided flooring and other interior building products in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana since 1983, will consolidate its various businesses at the property, which also includes room for future growth. The two-building development comprises 204,350 square feet of warehouse space, 57,688 square feet of corporate offices and a 54,350-square-foot showroom, all within Building A; and 105,400 square feet of manufacturing space in Building B. The facilities are slated for completion in the first quarter of 2015. Pross Design Group, based in Dallas, is serving as architect on the project.
PHOENIX — CFA Cabinetry has signed a five-year lease for a 63,840-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility in Phoenix. The new space will be located at 420 S. 53rd Ave. The kitchen and bathroom cabinetry wholesaler will be relocating from its 32,000-square-foot space at 1725 E. Williams Road in Deer Valley. CFA was represented by Keri AmRhein-Scott and John Grady of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Overton Moore Properties, was represented by Stein Ross of Lee & Associates.
