FAIRFIELD, OHIO — P&R Honeymoon has purchased a 226,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution building at 7100 Dixie Highway in Fairfield for $2.7 million. The food service packaging company plans to use the facility to manufacture packaging materials. The facility features 15,500 square feet of office space, 24 truck docks and a five-ton bridge crane. Rob Gemerchak and Jim Medbery of Binswanger represented the seller, Pella Corp., in the transaction.

SABINA, OHIO — Fenner Dulop Conveyor Systems and Services has signed a 32,200-square-foot lease at a warehouse facility at 277 Kenyon Drive in Sabina. Fenner Dunlop supplies conveyor belts to mines and rock quarries across the globe. More than 25 employees will move to the new facility. MILWAUKEE — Manesis Transportation, a company that specializes in equipment and large product transportation, has purchased a 20,604-square-foot industrial building at 4600 West Mitchell St. in Milwaukee. The company plans to use the facility to store equipment and products for its customers. Maximilian Yokosh of Cassidy Turley represented the buyer in the transaction. GARLAND — Westmount Realty Capital has purchased Garland Business Park, a 1.13 million-square-foot distribution and warehouse center located at 2600 McCree Road in Garland, near Dallas. The dry storage and freezer/cooler center is situated on a 66-acre, rail-served site. Westmount plans to rebrand the center as Garland Logistics Park and spend approximately $12 million in improvements during the next three years. The center is currently 70 percent leased to national and regional tenants. David Sours, Kevin Kelly and Jack Fraker of CBRE Group represented the seller in the transaction, and Sours and Kelly will be the new leasing brokers for the project.
TOLLESON, ARIZ. – Communication Test Design has signed an eight-year lease for 238,450 square feet at the Westside Business Park in Tolleson. The new space is located in Building 4 at 8602 W. Buckeye Road. It will absorb about 40 percent of the 535,213-square-foot warehouse. Communication Test Design was represented by Tony Lydon and Marc Hertzberg of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, LBA Realty, was represented by Allen Lowe and Matt Hobaica of Lee & Associates.
LAGRANGE, GA. — Rooker and the Development Authority of LaGrange have formed a partnership to break ground on an 80,000-square-foot industrial building that is expendable to 240,000 square feet. The building will be located in the authority's approximately 63-acre industrial park at the intersection of Pegasus Parkway and Highway 219 in LaGrange. The park can accommodate four additional buildings, totaling 426,000 square feet. Chris Cummings of Colliers International's Atlanta office will market the buildings.
MILWAUKEE — Central Asset Management has purchased a flex building at 5355 S. 27th St. in Milwaukee for $120,000. Steve Sewart, Dan Wroblewski and Lyle Landowski of Colliers International represented both parties in the transaction.
EXTON, PA. — Morphotek has opened an $80 million manufacturing plant in Exton, which will begin production operations later this year. The 60,000-square-foot facility will enable the company to make proprietary biologic therapeutic products for use in early-stage clinical trials. Its new product pipeline includes antibodies to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases.
HOUSTON — Jones Lang LaSalle has arranged a 116,000-square-foot lease for an industrial property, located in the Hempstead Highway Distribution Center at 11850 Hempstead Highway in Houston. The tenant, Dal-Tile, is renewing its existing 75,000-square-foot lease and is expanding an additional 41,000 square feet. John Talhelm and Kevin Erck of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Brian Gammill of Transwestern represented the landlord.
FORT MILL, S.C. — Beacon Partners has acquired a 303,188-square-foot industrial property, located at 2200 Carolina Place Drive in Fort Mill, for $4.7 million. The property is currently vacant. The buyer plans to renovate the property to improve its functionality and appearance. Lawrence Shaw of Colliers International represented Sterling Properties, the seller, in the transaction.
