INDIANAPOLIS — IDI plans to develop a 794,608-square-foot industrial building at AmeriPlex Business Park, adjacent to the Indianapolis International Airport. The construction, which will begin in two weeks, will mark the first new distribution center in the greater Indianapolis market since 2008. The IDI World Connect Building I will be located at 6161 Decatur Blvd. The facility will include skylights and 60-foot structural bays, and is expected to open this December. Cushman & Wakefield/Summit Realty Group and Develop Indy will work together to lease the property.

SORRENTO MESA, CALIF. – Mesa Rim Corporate Center, a 23,277-square-foot flex industrial building in the Sorrento Mesa region of San Diego, has sold to SR Commercial for $2.12 million. The property is located at 6675 Mesa Ridge Road. SR was represented by Vincent Punzi with VPC. The seller, ECT Mesa Ridge, LLC, was represented by Paul Komadina of CBRE Private Capital Group, along with Paul Lafrenz of CBRE Private Capital Group.
WYLIE — Colliers International has arranged the purchase of a 41,700-square-foot industrial property, located at 940 Hensley Lane in Wylie. The property consists of three properties — an 8,500-square-foot office building, a 30,000-square-foot warehouse and a 3,200-square-foot storage building. Allen Gump of Colliers International, along with Hugh Resnick of Pizel & Associates Commercial Real Estate, represented the buyer, Barthalow Rentals Co., in the transaction. Jeff White and Mike McCartan of Mark V Commercial represented the seller.
GAITHERSBURG, MD. — Jones Lang LaSalle has arranged the $30 million sale of an eight-building industrial portfolio, located in Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg. The buildings total 285,000 square feet and are approximately 75 percent leased. Tenants include M&T Bank, Ferguson and Cianbro. Jones Lang LaSalle's Washington, D.C., office represented the sellers, Zarpas 1 through 5 LPs., in the transaction. The buyer was a partnership led by Potomac, Md,-based Willco Cos. BB&T Bank provided acquisition financing.
COLUMBUS — Qual-Med Supply has signed a 30,000-square-foot industrial lease at 2775 Westbelt Dr. in Columbus. Doug Falor of Cassidy Turley represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord is Trident Capital Group.
LAPORTE — A joint venture between National Property Holdings and ML Realty Partners has broken ground on a 261,630-square-foot industrial property, located in the Port Crossing Commerce Center at S. 16th St. in LaPorte. The new property will feature 47 exterior docks, significant trailer storage and 16 rail-served doors. The property serves the Port of Houston and is located between the Barbours Cut and Bayport Container terminals.
AMERICAN CANYON, CALIF. — A 284,000-square-foot winery, warehouse and distribution facility in American Canyon that is fully leased to the Hess Collection Winery has sold to an unnamed buyer for $27.8 million. The facility is located at 1166 Commerce Blvd. The seller was represented by Doug Longyear, Andy Bogardus and Chris Sheldon of Cassidy Turley’s Net Leased Investment Services.
ORLANDO, FLA. — The 147,389-square-foot Silver Star Logistics Center, a manufacturing and logistics building located at 1900 W. New Hampshire St. in Orlando, has sold for $3.5 million. The property includes 6,820 square feet of office space, 28-foot clear ceiling heights, rail-spur service, covered loading docks and parking for more than 30 trailers. BEND, ORE. — AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER’S RE, LLC, doing business as Epic Aircraft, has purchased the 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility it occupies in Bend. The facility, which is located within the Bend Airport Enterprise zone, was listed for sale at $3.8 million, though the actual purchase price was not disclosed. The facility is located on the tarmac of the Bend Municipal Airport and has a long-term ground lease with the City of Bend. Robert Raimondi and Gardner Williams of Compass Commercial Real Estate Services represented both the buyer and the seller, ER 1, LLC, in this transaction.
OXNARD, CALIF. — A 14,111-square-foot industrial building located at 1450 E. Wooley Road in Oxnard has sold to BBS Partners, LLC for $1,481,655. The building was constructed in 2007. BBS plans to use the building for its packaging supply business. The company was represented by Michael L. Wax of Industrial Park Associates. The seller, Channel Islands Equity II, was represented by Mike Walsh of DAUM.
