DALLAS — CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners has formed a joint venture with Amicus Partners to launch Data Center Advisory Services. Senior managing directors Jeff Crawford, Chuck Smith and Jim Mangus of CASE's Dallas office are leading the new service line. The new entity will offer advice on technical, regulatory and compliance related issues, site selection, development, design, landlord representation, management, tenant representation and project investment opportunities. The new entity will handle compliance requirements, migration planning, virtualization initiatives, maintenance on aging facilities and equipment refresh cycles as it relates to data centers.
GLENDALE, ARIZ. – A 19,841-square-foot, built-to-suit office and industrial building in Glendale has sold to an entity formed by Ron Kaufman of The Ron Kaufman Companies for $4.29 million. The facility is located at 7103 W. Augusta Drive within the Northern Gateway Commerce Park. Boart Longyear has agreed to occupy the facility for at least 10 years. Cassidy Turley represented the buyer, the tenant and the seller, ViaWest Group, which developed the center.
MALVERN, PA. — Malvern-based Liberty Property Trust has sold a 49-property portfolio for $195 million. Included in the sale are single-story and mid-rise office buildings, as well as high-finish flex properties, in Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and New Jersey, totaling 2.5 million square feet. The properties are 83 percent leased.
PINELLAS PARK, FLA. — The 135,308-square-foot, five-building Cross Bayou Industrial Park, located at 10410-10450 66th St. N. in Pinellas Park, has sold for $2.75 million. Dennis Bush and Elliott Ross of Clearwater, Fla.-based The Ross Realty Group represented BB&T, the seller, in the transaction. Illinois-based Congaree River was the buyer.
MILWUAKEE — Bentley World Packaging has purchased a 40,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 9411 West Fond du Lac Ave. in Milwaukee, for an undisclosed amount. The packaging and assembly company plans to expand its business in the new space. Kevin Barry and Kurt Van Dyke of Cassidy Turley Barry's Milwaukee office represented the tenant in the transaction. Port Washington State Bank was the seller.
NEW YORK CITY — Massey Knakal Realty Services has arranged the $11 million sale of a four-story warehouse and storage facility in Brooklyn's Crown Heights. The 140,000-square-foot building is located at 1000 Dean St. The first floor includes loading docks, a storage area and several offices. The remaining three floors are used for storage and are accessible by two freight elevators and two staircases. Michael Amirkhanian and John F. Ciraulo of Massey Knakal represented the buyer and seller in the deal.
AZUSA, CALIF. — Newmark Realty Capital has arranged $8 million for Joe Blum of Rawson, Blum & Leon to purchase the Atrium in Azusa. The Atrium is a 124,228-square-foot office and industrial complex. The 10-year loan was secured prior to the property going under contract. The firm’s Eric Von Berg, Tom Dao and Kana Yujuico received a loan commitment from one of Newmark’s correspondent lenders. The firm will also be servicing this loan.
PORTLAND, TENN. — Boston-based STAG Industrial has purchased a 414,043-square-foot warehouse and distribution center, located at 3150 Barry Dr. in Portland, for $13.1 million. The property is fully leased to RB Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of Dorman Products Inc. Approximately 6 years remain on the lease term.
WORTHINGTON, OHIO — Hudson Bearings LLC has purchased a 24,898-square-foot industrial property in Worthington for an undisclosed amount. The building is located at 7060-7064 Huntley Rd. Matt Murtha of Cassidy Turley's Columbus office represented the seller, Eglehoff-L&K Properties, in the deal.
