PLANO — NorthMarq Capital has arranged $3.25 million in first mortgage financing for the 140,130-square-foot Jupiter Business Park, an industrial property located at 1111 Jupiter Rd. in Plano. Ronald Reese of NorthMarq's Dallas office arranged the 7-year loan with a 25-year amortization schedule through Summit Investment Advisors on behalf of the borrower, Jupiter Business Park Ltd., an entity controlled by Los Angeles-based Mindlin Cos.
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer has arranged the $5.4 million sale of Parkway 3 & 4, two office/warehouse buildings totaling 64,186 square feet located at 2697 International Pkwy. in Virginia Beach. Katherine Campbell of Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer's Virginia Beach office represented Virginia Beach-based Continental Properties Corp., the seller, in the transaction and procured the buyer, Santa Fe, N.M.-based Rosemont Realty.
KINROSS, MICH. — Mascoma Corp., a renewable fuels company, has signed a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to assist in the design and construction of a commercial-scale hardwood cellulosic ethanol facility in Kinross. The cooperative agreement provides $80 million in DOE funding. The facility will convert hardwood pulpwood to ethanol. Construction of the Kinross plant in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is expected to begin in the next three months, and is slated for completion in 2013. Kinross Cellulosic Ethanol LLC, a joint venture formed by Mascoma and Valero Energy Corp., will develop and operate the Kinross plant.
LENEXA, KAN. — All American Supply Co. has renewed its lease for 49,775 square feet of industrial space at Lenexa Industrial, located at 9775 Lackman Rd. in Lenexa. Matthew Severns of Kessinger / Hunter & Co. represented the landlord, TAK Properties, in the deal. Tom Haverty of Colliers International represented the tenant.
NEW KINGSTOWN, PA. — Fry Communications, a multi-media printing and production company, has signed a 146,500-square-foot lease at 32 E. Main St., a one-story industrial facility in New Kingstown. CBRE represented the company in the transaction. Gerry Blinebury, Pat McBride and Leah Balerno of the Phildelphia office of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Seagis Property Group.
BELVIDERE, ILL. — Pacific Global Logistics has signed a lease for 30,000 square feet of industrial space, located at 3915 Morreim Dr. in Belvidere. Emmett Gray of Whitehead Commercial Realty represented Pacific Global in the transaction. The landlord, Landmark Real Estate Group, was represented by Shane Van Sickle of Landmark.
POTTSTOWN, PA. — Sly Fox Brewery has acquired a 32,000-square-foot, Class B flex building, located at 331 Circle of Progress Dr. in Pottstown, for $1.9 million. Sly Fox will be relocating its brewery from Royersford, Pa. Scott Williams of Binswanger's King of Prussia, Pa. office represented the buyer in the transaction. He also represented the seller, Charles Moyer.
NORTH SPRINGFIELD, VT. — Jeld-Wen, Inc. has signed a long-term lease renewal for 212,340 square feet of industrial space at 36 Precision Dr. in North Springfield. A global window and door maker based in Klamath Falls, Ore., Jeld-Wen uses the site for product manufacturing. Bo Mills, Mark Detmer, Will Strong and Jackie Orcutt of the Phoenix office of Cushman & Wakefield represented Jeld-Wen in the transaction. Arthur Ross of Hart Corp. represented the landlord, WE 36 Precision Drive LLC.
NORTHVALE, N.J. — Fillo Foods has signed a long-term lease for an 85,000-square-foot industrial facility, located at 10 Fairway Ct. in Northvale. The Fillo Factory, an organic and natural foods producer, will relocate from Demarest, N.J. Mitch Helfman of MRH Real Estate represented Fillo in the transaction. Kenneth Lundberg and James Hanson represented the landlord, The Hampshire Cos.
DOWNEY, CALIF. – 88 Logistics has leased a 104,175-square-foot distribution facility in Downey. The five-year lease is valued at $2.2 million. The logistics firm was represented by Larry Kliger of Lawrence Allen. Heger Industrial's Robert G. Thornburgh and Tom Holland represented the building’s owner in this transaction.
