UNION CITY, TENN. — The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has sold a 2.2 million-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility, located at 3260 Goodyear Dr. in Union City, to Titan Tire Corp. Michael Reid of Binswanger's Atlanta office, along with Larry Spinelli of the firm's Nashville, Tenn., office, represented the seller in the transaction.
NORTHBROOK, ILL. —Goodman Distribution, an air conditioning parts and supplies company, has signed a lease renewal for 29,403 square feet of warehouse space, located at 3600 Woodhead Dr. in Northbrook. Keith Puritz, Ryan Bain, Brett Kroner and Zach Graham represented the landlord, AMB Property Group, in the transaction. Seth Koschak of Steam Realty Partners and Elise Couston of Paine/Wetzel represented the tenant in the transaction.
LOWER MACUNGIE, PA. — Quality Packaging Specialist International (QPSI) has signed a long-term lease for 157,500 square feet of industrial space at Lehigh Valley South, located at 7570 Industrial Park Way in Lower Macungie. Vince Ranalli and Joe McDermott of CBRE represented QPSI, a leader in packaging and supply chain logistics, in the deal. William Wolf and Sean Bleiler of CBRE represented the landlord, Clarion Partners.
CHELMSFORD, MASS. — KS Partners has signed Airvana Inc. to a lease renewal for 63,220 square feet and Krueger Food Labs to an 11,411-square-foot lease at 19-21 Alpha Rd. in Chelmsford. NORTH EAST, MD. — Restoration Hardware has signed a 1.2 million-square-foot industrial lease for a facility at Trade Center 95, located off Interstate 95 and Highway 40 in North East. The company will move into an existing 600,000-square-foot building in January 2012. Adjacent to the structure, Atlanta-based Weeks Robinson will build an additional 600,000-square-foot facility, which is slated for completion in the fall of 2012. Carl Mullis of CBRE's Atlanta office represented the tenant in the lease transaction and Weeks Robinson, the landlord was self-represented by Forrest Robinson.
LOVE PARK, ILL. — Meridian Design Build has completed construction of a 100,000-square-foot, build-to-suit industrial building in Love Park, near Rockford, Ill. The project will serve as a warehouse and distribution facility for Danfoss Drives, a privately held global company that manufactures and sells variable speed drives. Venture One Real Estate was the project developer. The project team also included Heitman Architects and Jacob & Hefner Associates.
STAFFORD — Sugar Land-based ICO Commercial has brokered the sale of the 84,828-square-foot Park Murphy Condominiums, an 11-building industrial portfolio, located at 12802-12834 Murphy Rd. in Stafford. Mike Gornek of ICO Commercial represented the seller, the original developer Park Murphy LLC, in the transaction.
SEBASTAPOL, CALIF. — Lucent Capital has arranged a $23.5-million construction loan for The Barlow, a 216,000-square-foot, adaptive-reuse project in Sebastapol. The loan has an initial two-year term with an option to extend. Highway Partners, LLC plans to begin construction on The Barlow in December. The first phase includes the renovation of a 121,000-square-foot industrial park and farmer's cooperative. The second phase will include 95,000 square feet of new development. The project should be completed in summer 2012. It is 78 percent pre-leased and will be anchored by Kosta Browne Winery.
