ORION TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Kensington Church has purchased a 71,752-square-foot industrial building, located at 4640 S. Lapeer Rd. in Orion Township, from Fidelity Bank for $1.65 million. The building will be renovated to include a 1,500 seat auditorium for the church. Mason L. Capitani and Garry Rogers of Troy, Mich.-based L. Mason Capitani/CORFAC International represented the seller in the transaction.

DEVENS, MASS. — Quiet Logistics has leased 200,000 square feet of industrial space at 66 Saratoga Blvd. in the Devens Industrial Park in Devens. The 66 Saratoga building, now fully occupied, is comprised of 420,000 square feet of industrial and office space. The site will serve as Quiet Logistics’ distribution center. John Lashar, Paul Leone and James Lipscomb, all of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, represented the landlord, CrossHarbor Capital Partners. Klemmer Associates’ Greg Klemmer and Tim Brodigan represented Quiet Logistics in the lease.
FONTANA, CALIF. – A 410,000-square-foot, Class A industrial warehouse in Fontana that is currently leased by Anna's Linens has been purchased for about $25 million by 10721 Jasmine LLC. The facility, which includes a 20,000-square-foot office space, is used by the retailer as a centralized distribution center for the Western United States. Jeff Cannon, corporate managing director, and associate Paul Jones of Studley’s Southern California Industrial Services Group represented 10721 Jasmine. Colliers' Tom Taylor and Steve Bellitti represented the seller, BlackRidge Real Estate Group.
INDIANAPOLIS — Welsh Property Trust has acquired a 741,092-square-foot industrial building, located at 3003 Reeves Rd. in Indianapolis, for an undisclosed price. The building, which contains 36-foot clear ceilings, cross-dock capabilities and more than 300,000 square feet of future expansion potential, is fully leased to Redcats USA.
MILWAUKEE — Semco has sold a 95,500-square-foot industrial property, located at 11225 W. Heather Ave. in Milwaukee, to 11225 Heather, LLC, for an undisclosed price. Sam Dickman, Jr., and Sam Dickman, Sr., of Milwaukee-based The Dickman Co./CORFAC International represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
CARSON, CALIF. – Calko Transport has signed a five-year lease for a 135,727-square-foot industrial property inside the master-planned Watson Industrial Center in Carson. The building is located on about 10 acres and will serve as a third-party logistics site for the company's new corporate headquarters as it relocates from nearby Carson. Lee & Associates' Don Smith and NAI Capital's Kent Choi represented Calko. Watson Land Company was represented in-house by Lance Ryan and Mike Bodlovich.
DUNN, N.C. — Delhaize America and Food Lion have plans to expand the company's distribution center in Dunn by 54,000 square feet. The center currently serves 264 Food Lion stores primarily in N.C. Upon completion in early 2012, the facility will be more than 1.3 million square feet.
ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. — Matrix Development Group has acquired 4 Applegate Drive, a 265,014-square-foot Class A warehouse site in Robbinsville from Allstate Investment. Matrix has also executed two leases for 80 percent of the building and capitalized the site in a venture with its partners at Morgan Stanley. BudCo East Coast has signed a 153,200-square-foot lease and Longchamp USA has leased 55,345 square feet at the site. Matrix is planning a $1.8 million renovation, which will include adding a truck court and loading doors to the site. Mindy Lissner and Stacey Weinberg of CB Richard Ellis represented Allstate in the property sale and Matrix was represented in-house. Jason Goldman of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. represented BudCo and Joel Lubin of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Longchamp in the lease negotiations. AUBURN HILLS, MICH. — General Development has been selected to construct a 55,490-square-foot build-to-suit project on 14.64 acres of land in Auburn Hills at the Oakland Technology Park. Schostak Brothers is developing the LEED certified building for Henniges Automotive, which will move from its current headquarters in Farmington Hills. Randall Thomas of Commerce Township, Mich.-based Insite Commercial represented Schostak Brothers in the purchase of the land from General Development, which was represented by Matt Farrell of CORE Partners.
CEDAR PARK — Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Self Storage Group has facilitated the sale of Hill Country Self Storage, a Class A storage facility comprised of 555 units totaling 68,777 square feet of storage space in Cedar Park. The facility was constructed in 2005 and will be operated by Don Clauson, the buyer. Steve Mellon and Pete Williams of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller, Legend Communities. The property was 85 percent leased at the time of the sale.
