PHOENIX — Orlando, Fla.-based Custom Fab has signed a 60,971-square-foot lease at 3085 S. 43rd Ave. in Phoenix. The multi-year lease is designed to offer Custom Fab added expansion and development capabilities for their new state-of-the-art glass lining facility. Jeff Hays and Chard Neppl of Phoenix-based NAI Horizon represented the landlord, Arlington, Texas-based Kinro.

NORTH CANTON, OHIO — North Canton-based Suarez Corp. Industries has signed a 200,000-square-foot lease at a former Hoover Vacuum Cleaner facility located at the 1.4 million-square-foot, mixed-use complex The Hoover District in North Canton. Suarez will make this location a new manufacturing and distribution facility, consolidating operations from its two existing facilities located near the Akron-Canton Airport in Green and Plain Townships in Ohio. The landlord is Maple Street Commerce. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
KENT, WASH. — Greenville, Tenn.-based Forward Air Corp. has renewed its 47,025-square-foot lease at the Kent West Corporate Park, located at 6531 South 219th St. in Kent. The 5-year lease is valued at more than $1.2 million. Brian Bruininks of Seattle-based The Andover Company represented the landlord, Newport Beach, Calif.-based DEXUS Property Group in the transaction. Michael Bauer of the Dallas-based Fischer & Co. represented Forward Air.
NORFOLK, VA. — Long Beach, Calif.-based California Cartage Co. signed a long-term, full-building, 385,000-square-foot lease in the Virginia Commerce Center at the Port of Virginia in Norfolk. The tenant will use the space to establish a high-velocity, cross-dock deconsolidation facility to receive international seaborne cargo for a top U.S. retailer. Atlanta-based McDonald Development Co. is the building’s owner, who was internally represented in the transaction by Tracy White. California Cartage was represented by Russell Smith of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services’ Newport Beach, Va., office and Ashton Williamson of CB Richard Ellis’ Norfolk office.
STAFFORD — Land has been purchased at the corner of Pike and Stafford roads in Stafford for the development of a new business park called Stafford Business Park. Vickery/Stafford Investments, Ltd. sold the 10.47 acres to Stafford Business Park, Ltd. Lang Motes of Indermuehle & Co. represented the seller, while Darren O'Connor of NAI Houston represented the buyer.
RIVERSIDE, CALIF. — Gardena, Calif.-based Overton Moore Properties has acquired the 192,434-square-foot, two-building Class A industrial project Citrus Business Park, located in Riverside. The property is 50 percent occupied. The seller, Lincoln National life Insurance Co., was represented by Ed Indvik of Lee & Associate's Los Angeles office and Bill Heim and Eloy Cova of the Ontario, Canada, office. Heim and Cova will market the project on behalf of Overton Moore Properties.
MIDDLEBURY, VT. — New England Quality Service has purchased a 100,000-square-foot industrial and office property in Middlebury from National Bank of Middlebury for $600,000. The property, formerly occupied by Specialty Filaments, is situated on 60 acres at 3046 Case St. The buyer plans to use the building for automobile disassembly and recycling. Duncan Harris of Redstone Commercial Group represented the seller.
CORSICANA — Jeld-Wen, Inc., a manufacturer of windows and doors, has sold a 58,080-square-foot warehouse facility located at 4000 E. State Hwy. 31 in Corsicana. Ashley Pope and Gary Collett of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas represented Jeld-Wen in the transaction along with Craig Hughes of Hughes Commercial and Bo Mills and Mark Detmer of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona. BR Properties, LLC, purchased the warehouse and was represented by Karen Williams of RE/Max of Corsicana.
HENRICO, VA. — Forward Air Solutions has leased 47,858 square feet of space in Building C at Airport Distribution Center, located in Henrico. Airport Distribution Center is comprised of four buildings, which total more than 700,000 square feet. Clifford B. Porter of Richmond, Va.-based Porter Realty Co. marketed the center on behalf of the owner, Graham & Co., and handled lease negotiations.
JESSUP, MD. — A 612,900-square-foot, Class A industrial building, located at 7605 Dorsey Run Rd. in Jessup, has sold for an undisclosed price. Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Exeter Property Group sold the asset to Chicago-based LaSalle Investment Management. Bruce Strasburg and Marc Rampulla of CB Richard Ellis' Washington, D.C., office represented the seller.
