RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, CALIF. — The Klabin Company/CORFAC International has brokered the $5.28 million sale of a 71,360-square-foot industrial building located at 18747 Laurel Park Road in Rancho Dominguez. The concrete tilt-up structure features dock-high and ground-level loading, 3,956 square feet of office space, a 22-foot clear height and on-site parking for 72 cars. C&W Investment Group LLC acquired the property from T. A. Associates, which was represented by The Klabin Company/CORFAC’s Todd Taugner, David Prior and Frank Schulz.

LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL. — Interior Investments has purchased a 75,703-square-foot industrial warehouse building, which is located at 550 Bond St. in Lincolnshire. Bond Street LLC sold the property for an undisclosed price, although the asking price was $4.4 million. Situated on 4.3 acres, the property offers 10,183 square feet of office space, three interior loading docks and heavy parking. Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) brokered the transaction.
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH. — Magna Powertrain of America has signed a lease for a 51,000-square-foot industrial building in Sterling Heights. The property is located at 6451 Fifteen Mile Road. Jason Capitani of L. Mason Capitani represented the undisclosed landlord. Terms of the lease were not released.
VENTURA, CALIF. — Solarsilicon Recycling Services LLC has acquired a 90,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 2433 Eastman Ave. in Ventura, from Art Dreams for $6.3 million. A company that recycles unusable and off-spec silicon and processes it into usable feedstock for the solar industry, SRS was represented by Mike Tingus of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura. Represented by DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services’ Michael Walsh and Melinda Walsh, the seller will lease back a portion of the building. The freestanding building includes more than 13,000 square feet of office space on two stories and features 24’ clear height, three dock-high and two ground-level doors.
ORLANDO, FLA. — Redmond, Wash.-based Univar USA Inc. has completed the disposition of a 12,897-square-foot office/warehouse building in Orlando. The property, which includes 2.8 acres, is located at 8120 and 8400 S. Orange Ave. Apex, N.C.-based PetroLiance Properties LLC bought the property, which includes 2,897 square feet of office space, for $875,000. Robert Blackwell and Sean DuPree of NAI Realvest represented the seller; Clemens Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Yangfeng USA Automotive Trim Systems has purchased three industrial buildings in Harrison Township. The 220,000-square-foot complex is located on Executive Drive. This location is the China-based company's first location in America. Jason Capitani and Tom Jablonski of L. Mason Capitani represented the undisclosed seller and coordinated the sale transaction for both parties. The acquisition price was not released.
MT. VERNON, OHIO — Brett Morgan Holdings LLC has acquired a 206,000-square-foot industrial building in Mt. Vernon. Located at 8405 Blackjack Road, the property will be leased to PACS Industries. James Klements of Weber Wood Medinger/CORFAC International and Mike Hurd of Cassidy Turley represented the seller, TRW Automotive, in the transaction. Terms of the sale were not released.
HENDERSON — Atwoods Ranch & Home, a retailer, has acquired a 140,373-square-foot industrial building at 1610 Industrial Dr. in Henderson. Atwoods currently operates 47 stores in five states offering a wide range of products including clothing, tools and hardware, lawn and garden supplies, sporting goods, pet supplies, feed, farm and ranch supplies and seasonal goods. The company plans to use the facility as a distribution center for its retail stores. Kipp Collins of Binswanger represented Atwoods in the acquisition.
LAURENS, S.C. — Friedrichshafen, Germany-based ZF Group is developing a 975,000-square-foot transmission manufacturing facility in Laurens. The $350 million plan will be used to manufacture fuel-efficient eight- and nine-speed automatic transmissions for the passenger care and light truck markets. Walbridge Southeast and Red Rock Developments have been tapped to design and build the facility.
WHITLEY COUNTY, IND. — Iotron Industries is currently developing a $15 million contract sterilization and materials modification facility in Whitley County. The Canada-based company's 54,000-square-foot facility is expected to open late this year. The company's e-beam facilities current provide contract sterilization services to the medical industry, pest and microbial reduction for agribusiness, and materials modification in the production of orthopedic, building and technology products.
