Cushman & Wakefield Arranges 760,608 SF Industrial Lease for Radial Near Atlanta

LOCUST GROVE, GA. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 760,608-square-foot industrial lease at Gardner Logistics Park in Locust Grove. King of Prussia, Pa.-based Radial, an e-commerce and operations company, will join The Home Depot and Love’s Travel Stops at Phase I of the industrial facility. Gardner Logistics Park is located at 3150 Ga. Highway 42, 30 miles southeast of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. James Phillpott, Lisa Pittman and Helen Cauthen of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties, in the lease transaction. Tony Kepano and Ryan Robinson of CBRE represented the tenant.

JLL Arranges Loans for Refinancing of 257,949 SF Industrial Portfolio in New Jersey

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — JLL has arranged two loans of undisclosed amounts for the refinancing of a four-building, 257,949-square-foot industrial portfolio in Morristown, about 30 miles west of New York City. Built in the 1980s, the properties are located in the towns of Pine Brook and Valley Cottage. Collectively, the four buildings were close to fully occupied at the time of the loan closings. Michael Klein led a JLL team that placed the nonrecourse loans, both of which were structured with 10-year terms and fixed interest rates, through an undisclosed life insurance company. The borrower was The Frassetto Companies, a family-owned and operated developer in the Tri-State area.

McCarthy Moves into New 15,000 SF Nebraska Office

OMAHA, NEB. — McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. has moved into its newly constructed office and warehouse property that will serve as the national construction company’s Nebraska office. The 15,000-square-foot development, located in West Omaha, features a single-story office building, a warehouse and an adjacent construction yard. McCarthy developed the project in conjunction with Tetrad Property Group LLC. DLR Group was the designer. The warehouse will enable the company to store construction materials and assemble some building components in advance of the jobsite. Since entering the Omaha market in 2001, McCarthy’s Omaha team has completed more than $1 billion in construction projects. The company’s core project types include healthcare, education, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercial, arts and entertainment and industrial. McCarthy is headquartered in St. Louis but has several other office locations across the country.

Marcus & Millichap Negotiates Sale of 69,750 SF Industrial Building in Metro Dallas

HUTCHINS, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has negotiated the sale of a 69,750-square-foot industrial building in Hutchins, a southern suburb of Dallas. The property was built on 11.9 acres in 1986 and was occupied by Bocks Board Packaging, a provider of corrugated and other specialty paper products, at the time of sale. Adam Abushagur and Sam Martin of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and procured the buyer, both of which were private investors, in the transaction.

HOUSTON — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has brokered the sale of a 66,853-square-foot industrial property located at 14310-14329 Interdrive E., approximately five miles south of George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The property was built in 1995 on five acres. Kate Fernandez and Andrew Gross of Matthews represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction. Both parties requested anonymity.

Lowe’s to Open 120,000 SF Distribution Center at Kyle Crossing in Metro Austin

KYLE, TEXAS — Lowe’s has signed a lease to open a 120,000-square-foot distribution center at Kyle Crossing Business Park, a 40-acre development located about 20 miles south of downtown Austin. Lowe’s will occupy approximately 60 percent of Building 1 at 1980 Kohlers Crossing, adjacent to the nearly 308,000-square-foot facility that was leased by Amazon in July. California-based Majestic Realty owns Kyle Crossing Business Park.

Colliers Arranges Sale of 48,000 SF Industrial Flex Property in West Berlin, New Jersey

WEST BERLIN, N.J. — Colliers International has arranged the sale of a 48,000-square-foot industrial flex property at 436 Commerce Lane in West Berlin, located outside of Philadelphia. The sales price was $2.7 million. The property is located off Route 73 and features 18-foot ceiling heights. The buyer was Velocity Venture Partners, and the seller was undisclosed. Marc Isdaner and Ian Richman of Colliers brokered the transaction.

Venture One Begins Development of Route 60 Logistics Center in Mundelein, Illinois

MUNDELEIN, ILL. — Venture One Real Estate has begun development of Route 60 Logistics Center, a 195,375-square-foot speculative industrial facility in Mundelein, a northern suburb of Chicago. Located at 1300 Allanson Road, the infill project will feature a clear height of 36 feet, onsite trailer parking and ample car parking. Chris Volkert, Ned Frank and Pat Hake of Colliers International have been retained to market the property for lease. Meridian Design Build is the general contractor. Completion is slated for the second quarter of 2021.

Opus Group Breaks Ground on Industrial Build-to-Suit for WEN Power Tools in West Dundee, Illinois

WEST DUNDEE, ILL. — The Opus Group has broken ground on an industrial build-to-suit for WEN Power Tools in West Dundee, a far northwest Chicago suburb. WEN, which is owned by Great Lakes Technologies, will relocate its headquarters to the 180,623-square-foot building within Oakview Corporate Park. The project will feature a 1,900-square-foot showroom, 4,000 square feet of office space, 21 truck dock doors, two drive-in doors and a clear height of 32 feet. Opus is serving as developer, design-builder, interior designer, architect and structural engineer. Eric Chang of U.S. Asia Investment Group LLC represented WEN while Noel Liston of Darwin Realty represented Opus. Completion is slated for March 2021.
