ATLANTA — Life Time has opened its newest 65,000-square-foot gym, marking the eighth location in Atlanta and the first in DeKalb County for the Minnesota-based fitness brand. Located on eight acres at 1515 Sheridan Road NE, the Life Time North Druid Hills athletic club made its debut on Monday, Dec. 16 and is now offering waitlist sign-ups for potential members. The club offers a range of 150 classes with five boutique studios for barre, cycling, group fitness, yoga and Pilates, as well as dedicated spaces for its Signature Group Training programs Alpha, GTX and UltraFit. Additional amenities include multiple pickleball courts, strength and cardio equipment, a five-lane indoor pool, dedicated workout recovery spaces, LifeSpa and LifeCafé services, dressing rooms and childcare services. Life Time’s outdoor space also features a bistro, beach club, pool deck, private cabanas and chairs, 12 racquet sport courts and a courtside lounge and bar. Life Time recently renovated its existing gym in Peachtree Corners and plans to open a new gym in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter area next year.

HOUSTON — Locally based brokerage firm Finial Group has negotiated a 24,500-square-foot industrial lease in northwest Houston. According to LoopNet Inc., the building at 11602 Canyon Trail Drive was originally built in 2011. Christian Villarreal of Finial Group represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. The name and representative of the tenant were also not disclosed.
ADA, MICH. — Concierge Medicine of West Michigan has opened a 3,200-square-foot office at 6741 E. Fulton St. in Ada. Founded by family medicine physicians and twin sisters, Dr. Lara Baatenburg and Dr. Jana Baatenburg, the practice offers a membership-based healthcare model. Kaleb Antonides, Jordan Day and Hillary Taatjes Woznick of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan assisted the tenant in leasing and build-out of the space.
WAKEFIELD, MASS. — Boston-based Eastern Bank has signed a 51,751-square-foot office lease in Wakefield, a northern suburb of Boston. The space is located within the 155,000-square-foot building at 601 Edgewater Drive, which is part of a larger 1 million-square-foot campus known as The Edge. Newmark represented the landlord, Hobbs Brook Real Estate, in the lease negotiations. Cushman & Wakefield represented Eastern Bank, which plans to take occupancy in the third quarter of next year.
CONROE, TEXAS — Avison Young has negotiated a 27,200-square-foot industrial lease in Conroe, about 40 miles north of Houston. The tenant is Membrane Platforms, and the space is located within NorthStar Industrial Park, a five-building, 79-acre development. Drew Coupe and Dawson Smith of Avison Young represented the landlord, BAUER Group, in the lease negotiations. Ron Wickes of Walzel Properties represented the tenant.
CBRE Arranges Three Office Leases at First Citizens Bank Plaza in Uptown Charlotte Totaling 87,266 SF

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CBRE has arranged three office loans totaling 87,266 square feet at First Citizens Bank Plaza, a 23-story office tower located at 128 S. Tryon St. in Uptown Charlotte. Kris Westmoreland, Stephanie Spivey and Joe Franco of CBRE represented the landlord, Dornin Investment Group, in the lease negotiations. The deals included a 20,897-square-foot lease with IT staffing firm Dexian, a 31,838-square-foot lease for an unnamed global IT services and consulting firm and a 34,531-square-foot lease with an unknown branch of the federal government. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) signed the third lease with Dornin on behalf of the end user. First Citizens Bank Plaza was recently renovated and features a new lobby, boutique fitness center, tenant amenity hub with lockers and showers, bicycle parking and storage, upgraded restrooms, new lobby and MOA Korean BBQ, a 5,000-square-foot restaurant and bar on the first floor.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Workbox plans to open a new 29,000-square-foot coworking space at an office building located at 1333 New Hampshire Ave. NW in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle district. The new space is set to open in February and will represent the company’s first location in the Mid-Atlantic and its 12th nationwide. Workbox also recently announced a coworking location in Pittsburgh that is set to open next month. Workbox – Dupont Circle will feature an entire floor of workspaces, lounges, conference rooms and amenity spaces. Additionally, the space will offer offices and suites for teams ranging in size from one to 40 individuals, all of which have flexible monthly rental agreements.
MIDDLETOWN, DEL. — Sprouts Farmers Market has opened an 23,000-square-foot store in Middletown, located north of Dover near the Maryland-Delaware border. The store is located at 431 Middletown Warwick Road and is the second in Delaware for the Phoenix-based grocer. About 80 people are expected to work at the store on full- and part-time bases.
CARY, N.C. — Hines and Columbia Development Group, in partnership with Affinius Capital, are announcing a nearly 19,000-square-foot wave of retail leases at Fenton, including The Salty Donut, which plans to open its newest location in 2025. Located in the Raleigh suburb of Cary, the 92-acre mixed-use development is located along Cary Towne Boulevard near I-40 and the Research Triangle Park. Other retailers and restaurants that have opened recently at Fenton, or will in 2025, include Brewery Bhavana, Kendra Scott, Vega Vitality, Crawford Brothers Steakhouse and Doc B’s. Full construction of the property will feature 2.5 million square feet of residential, retail, office and entertainment spaces, as well as a seven-story hotel announced earlier this year. The Salty Donut was founded as a pop-up in Miami in 2015 and has since grown to multiple locations in Florida and Texas, as well as restaurants in Charlotte, Denver, Nashville and metropolitan Washington, D.C.
BENBROOK, TEXAS — Aaron’s has signed a 170,509-square-foot industrial lease in Benbrook, located southwest of Fort Worth. The home appliances, furniture and electronics retailer relocated and expanded from Grand Prairie to Building 2 of Chisholm 20, a four-building, 917,374-square-foot development. Steve Koldyke, Kacy Jones and Brian Gilcrest of CBRE represented the landlord, locally based developer Jackson-Shaw, in the lease negotiations. David Eseke and Andrew DeLamielleure with Cushman Wakefield represented Atlanta-based Aaron’s, which operates 144 stores in Texas.
