BRIGHTON, MICH. — Two new retail tenants are opening at Green Oak Village Place in Brighton, about 50 miles northwest of Detroit. Michigan Makers Marketplace offers a space for local craftsmen and artists to sell their work along with scheduled craft shows. The tenant opened a 4,920-square-foot store in June. StretchLab is a national tenant with nearly 400 studios in North America and 900 licensed locations globally that provides customized one-on-one stretching services. StretchLab is opening a 2,259-square-foot space later this summer. Green Oak Village Place, a retail lifestyle center, features more than 50 shopping and dining tenants.

VERNON HILLS, ILL. — Chicago-based Proper Title LLC, a full-service title insurance agency serving the residential and commercial real estate industries, has opened a new office in the Chicago suburb of Vernon Hills. Located at 175 E. Hawthorne Parkway, the office replaces Proper Title’s previous location in Libertyville. The company says it needed a larger space to accommodate increased business in the northwest suburbs. The new office totals 1,773 square feet and features three closing rooms, a large reception area and ample parking. Isabel Reyes, a senior escrow officer, will oversee the office along with additional staff as needed per closing.
NEW YORK CITY — Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has signed a 15-year, 144,312-square-foot office lease renewal in Midtown Manhattan. The law firm will continue to occupy six floors at 51W52, a 38-story, 900,000-square-foot building. Howard Fiddle, Scott Gottlieb, Andrew Sussman, Evan Haskell, Evan Fiddle and Caroline Merck of CBRE represented the landlord, Harbor Group International, in the lease negotiations. Mary Ann Tighe, Craig Reicher, Ramneek Rikhy and Elliot Bok, also with CBRE, represented the tenant.
BEAUFORT, S.C. — Three new tenants have opened at Beaufort Station, a shopping center situated about 30 miles north of Hilton Head Island in Beaufort. Hobby Lobby, Five Below and Rack Room Shoes have opened stores at the property, which is anchored by T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods. Additionally, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart, Ulta Beauty, Old Navy, Aldi, Mattress Firm, Surcheros, Panda Express, Americas Best and Chicken Salad Chick have signed leases at the center. The Morgan Cos. is the landlord.
FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS — AA Gymnastics Academy has signed a 10,355-square-foot retail lease at Baywood Plaza Shopping Center in Friendswood, a southwestern suburb of Houston. The tenant is backfilling a space formerly occupied by CVS. Kelly Hutchinson of Colliers represented the landlord, MDDS Properties, in the lease negotiations. The tenant was self-represented.
NEW YORK CITY — Rooftop Hospitality Group has signed a 12-year retail lease extension at 230 Fifth Ave. in Manhattan. The tenant occupies the roof of the New York Market Center building, where it operates the 230 Fifth Avenue Rooftop Bar concept. The bar originally opened in 2006 and comprises 32,050 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Jane Gural-Senders, David Kaye and Harvey Richer internally represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, which has owned the building since 1958, in the lease negotiations.
HOUSTON — Locally based brokerage firm Oxford Partners has negotiated an 8,183-square-foot office lease in Houston’s Westchase District. According to LoopNet Inc., the property at 10333 Richmond Ave., which is known as The Frost Bank Building, was built in 1983 and totals 218,689 square feet. Ryan Hartsell of Oxford Partners represented the tenant, immigration law firm Reddy Neumann Brown PC, in the lease negotiations. Terri Torregrossa of Avison Young represented the landlord, Florida-based Accesso Partners.
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Four new food-and-beverage (F&B) operators have signed leases at apartment buildings in Jersey City’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. Breakfast café Eggs Up will open a restaurant in the 24-story Atlas high-rise building. MochiDough and BoberTea, both of which are Japanese concepts, have committed to Starling, a rental building with 39 units. Cheeky’s, a concept known for New Orleans-style sandwiches, will open at The Hazel, a 201-unit building. All openings are slated to occur before the end of the year. A partnership between between locally based developer Fields Grade and New York City-based Alpine Residential owns the buildings.
CHICAGO — Expansive, a flexible workspace solutions provider, has opened its newest location at 3838 N. Ravenswood Ave. in Chicago. Co-developed by Landrosh Development and Macon Construction, the apartment and office property is named The Opus Chicago. The building is situated between the Lincoln Square and Roscoe Village neighborhoods and is 1.5 miles from Wrigley Field. The first two floors of the property are dedicated to modern, flexible workspaces. Expansive operates nearly 4 million square feet of workspace for owned properties and landlord partners with over 40 locations across 32 U.S. cities.
DALLAS — Hari Mari has opened a 4,500-square-foot office in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas. The apparel and footwear retailer is relocating from 208 Haskell St. to 2616 Main St. Rhett Miller and Ryan Evanich of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, Charlotte-based Asana Partners, in the lease negotiations. Austin Studebaker and Chelby Sanders of Cresa represented Hari Mari.
