MOUNT CLEMENS, MICH. — Neway Creative, a coworking facility in downtown Mount Clemens, is relocating to 75 N. Main St. on the third floor. The company’s new space totals 5,100 square feet. Neway Innovation Hub works to empower adolescents through the nonprofit arm Neway Works Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that provides youth mentoring and development services. With this collaboration, Neway Creative is launching an art-therapy program in partnership with Neway Works supporting youth battling depression and anxiety. The new space also features private therapy space tailored for counseling professionals. Signature tenants of the Neway Innovation Hub include Analytic Healthcare Solutions, Jim DiFalco Farm Bureau, Neway Works, Renovations Now and SEO Plus CRO.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — CBRE has negotiated a 221,444-square-foot industrial lease near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The tenant, Big Ass Fans, will occupy the entirely of Building A at Fort West Commerce Center, a three-building, 531,601-square-foot development that sits on a 30-acre site. Buildings are designed to accommodate users with requirements from 34,041 to 221,444 square feet and feature 32- to 36-foot clear heights. Gordon Benedict, Courtney Oldenburg and Tim Vogds of CBRE represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Matt Carthey and George Jennings of Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the landlord, Phoenix-based Creation.
HOUSTON — Accounting firm Abbott & Associates has signed a 4,848-square-foot office lease renewal in southeast Houston. According to LoopNet Inc., the building at 12600 N. Featherwood Drive was built in 1987 and totals 75,166 square feet. Ryan Hartsell of locally based brokerage firm Oxford Partners represented Abbott & Associates in the lease negotiations. Ryan Clark of The Mission Cos. represented the landlord.
WEST DES MOINES, IOWA — CBRE has opened a new 8,000-square-foot office on the second floor of 595 Tower, which is located at 595 S. 60th St. in West Des Moines. The firm has relocated from the Hubbell Realty Co. building at 6900 Westown Parkway. The new office is part of CBRE’s Workplace360 program, showcasing the company’s “Future of Work” space standards, including innovative technology and a wider variety of collaborative spaces designed to support hybrid working. CBRE launched its Workplace360 program in 2013 and has since opened more than 100 of these offices worldwide. A cornerstone of the model is the “free address” approach where there is no assigned seating. The Des Moines office is equipped with technology for chat and video applications, a large media display for company announcements and a RISE café. There are several pieces of artwork from local artists, Tom Gross and Candice Luten. The conference room names are based on the three local counties where CBRE is most active — Dallas, Jasper and Polk.
SECAUCUS, N.J. — Kids apparel retailer The Children’s Place has signed a 120,000-square-foot office lease renewal at 500 Plaza Drive in the Northern New Jersey community of Secaucus. The Children’s Place has been a longtime tenant at the 466,496-square-foot building, which is located within the 200-acre Harmon Meadow campus. David Stifelman and Timothy Greiner of JLL represented the landlord, Manulife Investment Management, in the lease negotiations. David Goldstein and Gregg Najarian of Savills represented the tenant.
DALLAS — Sidley Austin LLP has signed a 118,484-square-foot office lease at 23Springs in Uptown Dallas. The law firm will relocate from an 80,000-square-foot space at the nearby McKinny & Olive complex to four full floors and a partial fifth floor of the 26-story, 626,215-square-foot building in early 2026. Granite Properties is developing 23Springs, which is slated for a March 2025 completion. Craig Wilson, Randy Cooper, and Greg Biggs of Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Robert Jimenez, Burson Holman and Elizabeth Fortado represented Granite Properties on an internal basis.
RICHARDSON, TEXAS — Amped Fitness, a Florida-based fitness retail chain, will open a 38,562-square-foot gym at Richardson Plaza, a retail center located at 110 W. Campbell Road on the northeastern outskirts of Dallas. Grayson Duyck of California-based brokerage firm Matthews Real Estate Investment Services represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. The tenant representative was also not disclosed. The gym, which will be the 25th in the country for Amped Fitness, is scheduled to open at the end of the year.
HOUSTON — Locally based brokerage firm Finial Group has negotiated a 25,000-square-foot industrial lease at Central Green Business Park in North Houston. According to LoopNet Inc., the building at 1950 S. Starpoint Drive was built in 1992, features 24-foot clear heights and includes 10,000 square feet of office space. William Alcorn and Jack Gaffney of Finial Group represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. Henry Landwermeyer of Boyd Commercial represented the tenant, Pulse Wire & Cable.
NEW YORK CITY — The National Museum of Mathematics has signed a 27,158-square-foot retail lease for a temporary space at 225 Fifth Ave. in Manhattan’s NoMad area. The space previously housed a 24 Hour Fitness. The museum has been located at 11 E. 26th St. since opening in 2012. Lindsay Ornstein, Stephen Powers, Jake Cinti and Julia Fish of OPEN Impact Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Peter Whitenack of Newmark represented the undisclosed landlord.
NEW YORK CITY — Whole Foods Market will debut its new “quick-shop” store format at 1175 Third Ave. on Manhattan’s Upper East Side later this year. At 7,000 to 14,000 square feet, these formats are between 25 to 50 percent of the typical 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods store. The store will also be the first of the Austin-based grocer’s 17 New York City locations to offer a Juice & Java coffee bar and fast-casual eatery.
