NEW YORK CITY — Investment and advisory firm Flexpoint Ford will open a 19,522-square-foot office at One Vanderbilt, a 77-story, 1.7 million-square-foot tower in Midtown Manhattan that was developed by locally based real estate giant SL Green. Architect SPECTOR Cos. designed Flexpoint Ford’s space. Cresa and Clune Construction Co. handled the build-out. The project is nearing completion, though a formal opening date was not disclosed.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — Steinhafels, a Milwaukee-based furniture and mattress retailer, has signed a 70,737-square-foot retail lease at 915 E. Golf Road in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg. Steinhafels will occupy space formerly home to Bed Bath & Beyond. Joe Parrott and Sean McCourt of CBRE represented building ownership, Necessity Retail REIT. Steinhafels currently operates three stores in Chicagoland and 14 overall.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 14,522-square-foot industrial lease in the central metroplex city of Grand Prairie. According to LoopNet Inc., the property at 1209 W. Carrier Parkway was built in 1980, totals 34,673 square feet and has 16-foot clear heights. Mark Graybill and Reed Parker of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Link Industrial Properties, in the lease negotiations. Jamie White of Jamie White Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant, Team Rubicon, a nonprofit provider of disaster relief services.
SECAUCUS, N.J. — Third-party warehousing and freight firm Global Interactive Logistics (GIL) has signed a 115,000-square-foot industrial lease in the Northern New Jersey community of Secaucus. The multi-tenant facility at 1000 New County Road was built on 25.5 acres in 1968 and totals 525,224 square feet. Conor Dolan, Jeff Babikian, Nick Klacik and Kevin Dudley of CBRE represented GIL, which will relocate from nearby Kearny, in the lease negotiations. Larry Schiffenhaus and Tom Monahan, also with CBRE, represented the landlord, Prologis.
ALLENDALE, N.J. — NAI James E. Hanson has negotiated a 32,895-square-foot lease at 1 Pearl Court, an industrial flex building in the Northern New Jersey community of Allendale. The building is one of seven within the 370,000-square-foot Allendale Industrial Park, which is owned by Camber Real Estate Partners and Advance Realty Investors. Thomas Vetter and Jeff Demagistris of NAI Hanson represented the tenant, a medical equipment manufacturer, in the lease negotiations. Kenneth Lundberg, Patrick Lennon and Lorenzo Lambiase, also with NAI Hanson, represented the landlord.
HOUSTON — Puttshack, an entertainment concept centered on minigolf, has opened a 26,000-square-foot center at The Highlight at Houston Center, a retail and office complex located at 1200 McKinney St. in the downtown area. The venue offers four nine-hole minigolf courses, two bars serving craft cocktails and beers, a formal dining area and a private event space that can accommodate more than 100 guests. Brookfield Properties owns The Highlight, which also houses an Immersive Gamebox entertainment center.
MIAMI — Retailers lululemon athletica and Sephora have opened stores at Miami Worldcenter, a $4 billion mixed-use development in downtown Miami. The stores are located adjacent to one another along the development’s 7th Street pedestrian promenade that overlooks World Square Plaza, a 20,000-square-foot park. CIM Group, a co-developer of Miami Worldcenter, is leading the project’s retail leasing along with Miami-based The Comras Co. The master developer is Miami Worldcenter Associates, which is led by Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani. Still to come at the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter are food-and-beverage options including El Vecino by chef Michael Beltran, who also operates the Brasserie Laurel restaurant at the development; Chicago’s Maple & Ash and etta restaurants; Sports & Social, a dining and entertainment concept; as well as other nationally recognized brands including Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, Club Studio, Ray-Ban, Posman Books, Bowlero and Lucid Motors. Approximately 80 percent of the retail space has been leased at the development.
NEW YORK CITY — Golfzon Social, an entertainment concept that centers on golf simulation, will open an 18,000-square-foot center at 11 Hoyt, a 57-story residential development in Brooklyn by Tishman Speyer. The venue will offer 16 hitting bays, screens for watching live sports, a chef-driven menu, craft cocktails and beers and an onsite professional for private lessons. Don Cafero of JLL represented Golfzon Social in its site selection and lease negotiations. Tishman Speyer was self-represented. The opening is scheduled for the fall.
WAUWATOSA, WIS. — Best Buy has signed a 10,921-square-foot retail lease at 2545 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, a western suburb of Milwaukee. Scott Satula and Emily Smits of Mid-America Real Estate represented the landlord, an entity doing business as GP Wisconsin LLC.
DALLAS — Single-family homeowner and property management firm Invitation Homes has signed a 50,000-square-foot office lease at Lincoln Centre, a 1.6 million-square-foot campus in North Dallas. Lincoln Centre recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation, and the property now offers amenities such as a food hall, lobby lounge, coffee bar, fitness center, conference facilities, a working mothers’ room and a wine lounge. Matt Schendle, Clint Madison and Zach Bean of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Nuveen Real Estate, in the lease negotiations.
