WEBSTER, TEXAS — Chicken N Pickle, an entertainment concept that combines pickleball with food, drink and other games, will open a 42,000-square-foot venue in Webster, a southeastern suburb of Houston. The venue will be located within the 80-acre Flyway development and will feature multiple bars, beer gardens and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The opening is slated for late 2023. A 532-room Great Wolf Resorts hotel is also under construction at the Flyway.

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. — Mobility services provider First Transit has signed a 72,000-square-foot industrial lease in North Bergen, located across the Hudson River from Upper Manhattan. According to LoopNet Inc., the single-tenant property at 5901 Tonnelle Ave. was originally built in 1958. Scott Deutchman of Lee & Associates represented the tenant in its site selection and lease negotiations. Chaus Realty represented the landlord, Maryland-based industrial investment firm Realterm.
CHICAGO — CBRE has negotiated six leases totaling 54,183 square feet at 609 W. Randolph St., a speculative office building that was completed in March in Chicago’s West Loop. The property is now 63 percent leased. A national technology company leased 21,339 square feet. The other lease signings included New Markets Trading, NTT DATA, Global Real Estate Fund, Confidential Financial Services and Valenti Builders. Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates 401,242 SF Industrial Lease at Gillem Logistics Center in Metro Atlanta

FOREST PARK, GA. — Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated a 401,242-square-foot industrial lease at Gillem Logistics Center, a 1,168-acre master-planned industrial park in the south Atlanta suburb of Forest Park. Pat Murphy, Tara Healy, Andrew Thurman, Ray Stache, Lisa Pittman and Ryan Bellows of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Boston-based TA Realty, in the lease negotiations. The tenant, a subsidiary of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Covenant Logistics Group, will occupy a portion of Building 1100, which spans 909,590 square feet and was delivered in September.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MICH. — Fitness concept Crossfit Maven has signed a 17,123-square-foot retail lease at Winchester Center in Rochester Hills. Michael Murphy, Bill McLeod and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the landlord, RPT Realty. John Salsberry of Colliers represented the tenant. Winchester Center, anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshall’s and Burlington, is located on Rochester Road just south of Avon Road.
LOCUST GROVE, GA. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 1 million-square-foot lease for an undisclosed transport and logistics company at Gardner Logistics Park, a three-phase industrial project in Locust Grove, approximately 40 miles southeast of Atlanta. James Phillpott, Helen Cauthen, Lisa Pittman and Ray Stache of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Scannell Properties, for the lease deal. The tenant will occupy most of Building 1, which totals more than 1.4 million square feet and is scheduled for completion in late 2023. Building 1 is the final building to be constructed at the project, for which Cushman & Wakefield is overseeing all leasing efforts.
SAN ANTONIO — Global telecommunications provider Spectrum has signed an office lease renewal and expansion at Crosswinds Business Park in northeast San Antonio. The tenant is taking an additional 19,808 square feet of space at Building B, which brings that structure to full occupancy. Charlie Weil and Luis Garza of Transwestern represented the landlord, Briar Meads Capital, in the lease negotiations. CBRE represented Spectrum.
VERNON HILLS, ILL. — Perry’s Restaurants, a Texas-based boutique restaurant group, is opening its third Chicago-area location. Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is set to debut at Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills in late 2023. The 11,000-square-foot restaurant will include a main dining room and four private dining rooms. Chicago-based Aria Group Architects Inc. designed the Vernon Hills restaurant, which will accommodate up to 350 people. Perry’s also operates locations in Oak Brook and Schaumburg.
