KANSAS CITY, MO. — AesthetiCare Med Spa has opened its new headquarters at 9225 Ward Parkway in Kansas City. The new space totals roughly 20,000 square feet and combines three of the company’s offerings into one location. AesthetiCare also owns MINT Aesthetics, a national training center for Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments and general aesthetics. Jeff Winters of Colliers represented AesthetiCare in its site selection, acquisition and tenant build-out. AesthetiCare employs a staff of 22 registered nurses and aestheticians, making it the largest med spa in metro Kansas City.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. — Kids Empire has signed a 21,430-square-foot retail lease to backfill the former Office Max space at West River Shopping Center in Farmington Hills. The property is situated at the corner of Grand River Avenue and 9 Mile Road. Additional tenants include Target, The Riviera Cinema, Edge Fitness and Five Below. Michael Murphy and Bill McLeod of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the landlord, Shango Properties. Kids Empire, which offers indoor playgrounds, climbing walls, games and birthday parties, operates more than 40 locations across the U.S.
TORRANCE, CALIF. — DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services has relocated its South Bay office to Pacific Gateway, a 237,145-square-foot office building in Torrance. The 10-story building was built in 1981 and recently renovated. The move, which takes place after 40 years in an office around the corner from the new space, is intended to accommodate the firm’s recent and future growth in the Los Angeles market.
HOUSTON — Houston-based Chord Energy (NASDAQ: CHRD) has signed a 103,405-square-foot office lease renewal at 1001 Fannin, a 47-story, 1.3 million-square-foot building in downtown Houston. The building, which includes 25,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, recently underwent a capital improvement program that added new amenities, including a coffee shop, tenant lounge areas and a fitness center. Brad Beasley and Chip Colvill of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, JMB Realty Corp., in the lease negotiations. Chad Beck, also with Cushman & Wakefield, represented Chord Energy.
PLANO, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 79,720-square-foot industrial lease in the northern Dallas suburb of Plano. According to LoopNet Inc., the property at 3605 E. Plano Parkway was built in 1999, totals 100,320 square feet and features 24-foot clear heights, 32 exterior dock doors and 445 parking spaces. George Tanghongs of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, an affiliate of Pennsylvania-based Equus Capital Partners, in the lease negotiations. Brett Lewis, also with Lee & Associates, represented the tenant, LiteOn, a Taiwanese provider of consumer electronics.
SECAUCUS, N.J. — Newmark has negotiated a 46,000-square-foot industrial lease at 60 Metro Way in the Northern New Jersey community of Secaucus. The facility features 8,000 square feet of office, space seven loading docks and one drive-in door. David Simson and Dan Reider of Newark represented the tenant, Creative Technology Inc., which supplies technical equipment for sports and entertainment events, in the lease negotiations. Locally based investment firm Hartz Mountain Industries owns the building.
PLAINVIEW, N.Y. — Trinity Solar Inc., a provider of panels for residential homes, has signed a 17,731-square-foot life sciences lease in the Long Island community of Plainview. The building at 137 Commercial St. spans 40,660 square feet and houses research and development facilities. Robert Kuppersmith, Connor Sullivan, Scott Schubert and Dan Johnsen of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The name and representative of the landlord were not disclosed.
PLANO, TEXAS — Horizon Oxygen & Medical Equipment has signed a 7,855-square-foot industrial lease in Plano. According to LoopNet Inc., the building at 600 Development Drive was built in 2001 and totals 23,334 square feet. Jared Laake of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord, Dallas-based Kennington Commercial, in the lease negotiations. Schaefer Amos of Lee & Associates represented the tenant.
PHOENIX — The Chef’s Warehouse West Coast LLC has signed a long-term lease for 46,339 square feet at Reywest Commerce Park in Phoenix. The space is located at 3717 W. Washington St. The lease is valued at $8.5 million. The Chef’s Warehouse specializes in specialty foods, supplies and ingredients for commercial establishments. The supplier is moving out of a smaller warehouse in Tempe. Reywest Commerce Park was built in 1991 and renovated in 2012. It features cold storage warehousing with cold loading dock and a large secure truck court. Phil Haenel of Cushman & Wakefield represented he landlord, CPT Condor Washington LLC. NAI Horizon’s Isy Sonabend and Drew Eisen represented Chef’s Warehouse in the lease transaction.
TAMPA, FLA. — Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, a law firm based in Birmingham, Ala., has leased space on the 10th and 11th floors of Thousand & One, a trophy office tower within the $3.5 billion Water Street Tampa development. Master developer Strategic Property Partners LLC is the landlord of the office tower. The law firm will move into its 37,000-square-foot space from its current regional office on North Tampa Street in downtown Tampa before the end of the year. PEI Global Partners has also recently leased space at Thousand & One, which also houses Citadel, ReliaQuest, Sila Realty Trust, Northern Trust Corp., Weatherford Capital, Synovus Financial Corp., RSM, Suffolk Construction, USA Rare Earth and Walker & Dunlop, among other tenants. Thousand & One features a rooftop terrace, private landscaped terraces, open-air conference room, employee fitness center and town hall meeting space. On the ground level, the building features a landscaped plaza with public art and water features and several ground-floor retailers, including Naked Farmer, CAVA and the recently opened Boulon Brasserie.
