FRISCO, TEXAS — Dick’s Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) has agreed to sublease 50,000 square feet of retail space at 5550 Preston Road in Frisco from Oklahoma-based discount retailer Hobby Lobby. Evan Bloom of The Woodmont Co. represented Hobby Lobby in the sublease negotiations. Megan Trimble and Greg Bracchi of Edge Realty represented Dick’s Sporting Goods. New York-based REIT Kimco Realty Corp. owns the center in which the space is located.

Four-Gateway-Center-Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Law firm Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote PC has signed a 79,719-square-foot office lease at Four Gateway Center, a 1.5 million-square-foot office building in downtown Pittsburgh. The firm will relocate from its longtime space at PPG Place to occupy five floors at Four Gateway Center, which features a newly built conference facility and fitness center, in spring 2025. Dan Adamski, Nick Francic and Reid Mauro of JLL represented the tenant in its site selection and lease negotiations. The representative of the landlord, Hertz Investment Group, was not disclosed.

NEW YORK CITY — Avison Young has negotiated a 41,937-square-foot office sublease at 195 Broadway in downtown Manhattan. Lattice, a consulting firm focused on improving company cultures, will sublease the space at the 11-story building from Namely, a provider of human resources software. Brooks Hauf, Peter Johnson and Leah Zafra of Avison Young, along with Bryan Emanuel and John Diepenbrock of Raise Commercial Real Estate, represented the sublessee in the negotiations. Steve Rotter, Brett Harvey, Justin Haber and Kyle Riker of JLL represented the sublessor.

CARMEL, IND. — Treated Lumber Outlet LLC has signed a lease for a 13,000-square-foot industrial building in the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel. The property, located at 4511 W. 99th St., features 11,700 square feet of warehouse space and 1,300 square feet of office space. Building features include two dock doors, one drive-in door, column spacing and a clear height of 24 feet. Conrad Jacobs of Avison Young represented the landlord, Jadam Property Group. The tenant expects to take occupancy in June.

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MICH. — Tranquility Healing Spa has leased 2,000 square feet at a retail property located at 6765 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield. The property, which is also occupied by Beyond Juice, is now fully leased. Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the landlord, Zeerco Development. Murphy and Gerdom also represented Zeerco in the sale of the building to a local investor. Jon Kouza of AQRE Advisors represented the buyer.

COPPELL, TEXAS — South Korean multinational electronics corporation Samsung has signed an 815,850-square-foot industrial lease renewal at Point West Industrial Park, a 2.1 million-square-foot development in the central metroplex city of Coppell. According to LoopNet Inc., the property at 400 Dividend Drive totals just over 1 million square feet and was built on a 48.8-acre tract in 2007. Matt Hyman represented the landlord, Indianapolis-based REIT Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), in the lease negotiations on an internal basis. Mark Becker and Jay Benner of Cushman & Wakefield represented Samsung.

NEW YORK CITY — The Museum of Women will open a 25,000-square-foot venue at 480 Broadway in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. The museum will offer 14 interactive exhibits, as well as a commissary and gift shop. The short-term lease agreement will expire in January 2023. Richard Skulnik, Lindsay Zegans and Ben Sabin of RIPCO Real Estate represented the landlord, KPG Funds, in the lease negotiations. Josh Berger of Norman Bobrow & Co. represented the tenant.

PHILADELPHIA — Rhode Island-based construction firm Gilbane Building Co. has signed a 16,655-square-foot office lease at 1200 Intrepid Ave. within the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Gilbane is relocating from the Wanamaker Building, a historic structure in the Center City neighborhood that originally housed a department store, where the company has been a tenant since 1996. Tony Rossi and Richard Levine of CBRE represented Gilbane in the lease negotiations., Ensemble Real Estate Solutions & Investments owns the property.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — RSM, a provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, has signed a 22,256-square-foot office lease at Schaumburg Towers in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg. RSM plans to relocate from 20 N. Martingale Road in the fourth quarter of this year. Schaumburg Towers is now 73 percent leased. The two-building office complex spans 882,000 square feet. Owner American Landmark Properties has invested more than $20 million in property upgrades since 2017. Steve Kling and David Florent of Colliers represented ownership in the lease transaction. KANSAS CITY, MO. — Commercial real estate firm Hunt Midwest will take occupancy of the entire second floor of Corrigan Station II in Kansas City beginning this summer. The newly constructed office building rises three stories and spans 22,910 square feet at 1881 Main St. Hunt Midwest will utilize the space as a satellite office for its main headquarters, which is located in SubTropolis, an underground business park in Kansas City. Copaken Brooks owns Corrigan Station II, which offers direct access to one of the city’s streetcar stops. John Coe and Ryan Biery of Copaken Brooks represented ownership, while Hunt Midwest was represented by its management team.
