AUBURN HILLS, MICH. — Trigo Quality Solutions has signed a 102,377-square-foot industrial lease at 2430 E. Walton Blvd. in Auburn Hills. The company provides quality management and consulting solutions mainly for the automotive, aerospace and heavy transportation industries. Geoff Hill and Chris Hill of Newmark represented the new owner, Frain Cooper Holdings LLC, which purchased the 125,063-square-foot building via a partial sale-leaseback with Norma Group. The Newmark team secured a deal with Trigo to bring the building to full occupancy upon closing. Anthony Rubino of Pilot Property Group represented Trigo. Norma Group will remain in the building, leasing 22,686 square feet.

HOUSTON — Coterra Energy Inc., a product of an October 2021 merger between Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas and Denver-based Cimarex Energy, has signed a 122,000-square-foot office headquarters lease in Houston. The tenant will relocate to Memorial City Plazas, a 1 million-square-foot office campus in Houston. Owned by MetroNational, the three-building development is currently undergoing a $20 million renovation project that is slated for a fourth-quarter completion. Brad MacDougall and Warren Alexander represented MetroNational in the lease negotiations on an internal basis. Jim Bailey of Cushman & Wakefield and Lucian Bukowski of CBRE represented the tenant.
WOODRIDGE, ILL. — Eaton, a provider of power management technologies and services, has preleased a 370,973-square-foot industrial development in Woodridge, a southwest suburb of Chicago. The developer, Duke Realty Corp., began construction of the speculative project in August. Completion is slated for this July. The 21-acre site at 10000 Woodward Ave. was previously home to a vacant movie theater. The project will feature a clear height of 36 feet, 37 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 44 trailer spaces and 343 parking spaces. CHARLOTTE, N.C. — BayHaven Restaurant Group, led by chefs Gregory Collier and Subrina Collier, plans to open four new food concepts at Camp North End in Charlotte. The four concepts — Passage Seafood, The Abyss, Bird Is The Word and B.A.D. (Beyond Amazing Donuts) — are expected to open this summer. Developed by ATCO Properties & Management, Camp North End is a mixed-use development located on 76 acres just north of Uptown Charlotte. The project currently has over 300,000 square feet of space already redeveloped for offices, artistic expression, dining and hospitality, entertainment, recreation and community building use, and another 1.5 million square feet is in the works. Construction on the office, retail and parking garage portions of Phase II are slated for completion by June, while the multifamily component is expected to begin construction this year and be complete in 2024. B.A.D. is a donut concept created by pastry chef Jasmine Macon. Bird is the Word is a chicken counter service concept. Passage Seafood will be a seafood restaurant. SHARONVILLE, OHIO — Workhorse Group, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has signed a 58,720-square-foot lease for both industrial and office space at Park 42 in Sharonville, a northern suburb of Cincinnati. The company is relocating its headquarters from nearby Loveland. Situated on nearly 30 acres, the 286,000-square-foot building is located near I-275, I-75 and I-71. Workhorse Group is expected to move into the new space no later than April of this year. Todd Pease and Tom Fairhurst of JLL represented the building owner, Experimental Holdings. MIAMI — Four new dining concepts and retailers are opening at CocoWalk, a 150,000-square-foot, mixed-use project in Miami’s Coconut Grove district. The project is led by an ownership group including Federal Realty Investment Trust, The Comras Co. and Grass River Property. David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality will open The Key Club, a restaurant, at CocoWalk. Additionally, Ariete Hospitality Group will also open a new restaurant at CocoWalk this year. Narbona Natural Food & Farm Market is set to open this spring in an 8,253-square-foot space. This market location will become Narbona’s second location to open in South Florida. Lastly, Cinépolis, a movie theater concept, is scheduled to open this year. The new retailers and restaurants join a tenant line-up including Planta Queen, Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza, Sweetgreen and Salt & Straw, as well as Bluemercury, Edward Beiner, The Spot Barbershop and School of Rock. In August of last year, the owners of CocoWalk announced other planned tenants including GlossLab, a membership-based nail studio; Infinity, a fitness studio; Skin Lab by Barba Skin Clinic; and 3D Brow Studio, a beauty bar specializing in curating eyebrows.
ATLANTA — Locally based Branch Properties has signed leases for two new tenants to join Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, a 168,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored center in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. Located off Peachtree Road, Peachtree Battle Shopping Center features over 50 tenants, including a 32,836-square-foot Publix, Walgreens, Ace Hardware and Baskin-Robbins. The new tenants include Roshambo and Cava. Roshambo, a new concept from local restaurant group Unsukay, will open at the center in a 4,000-square-foot space. The restaurant is set to open this summer. Cava, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain, will occupy a 2,300-square-foot space at the center. The Mediterranean restaurant is expected to open this month.
EAST WINDSOR, CONN. — BlueTriton Brands, a locally based beverage company formerly known as Nestlé Waters North America, has signed a 279,256-square-foot, full-building industrial lease in East Windsor. Built in 1979, the property features clear heights of 18 to 20 feet, more than 300 parking spaces and 5,000 square feet of office space. Chris Metcalfe and Jack Reed of CBRE represented the landlord, a joint venture between an affiliate of New York City-based Wharton Equity Partners and Boston-based Long Wharf Capital, in the lease negotiations. The building is currently undergoing a renovation, and the tenant plans to take occupancy in late February or early March.
DETROIT — Sugar Factory American Brasserie is set to open in downtown Detroit late this spring. The First Michigan location for the brand will be located at 45 Monroe St. within Bedrock’s One Campus Martius building. The 233-seat restaurant will also feature Sugar Factory’s candy store. The main dining area will offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with décor including neon signs, floral walls and a candy heart wall. Sugar Factory serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its most legendary dessert is the King Kong Sundae, which serves up to 12 people and features 24 scoops of ice cream.
First Commercial Property Management to Operate Two Shopping Centers in Arizona, California

PHOENIX AND MENIFEE, CALIF. — Upland-based 1st Commercial Property Management has been selected to operate two retail centers in Arizona and California. The company will provide management services for Arcadia Crossing Shopping Center, which features more than 450,000 square feet of retail space. Fry’s Food and Drug, Ross Dress for Less, Target, Petco, Burlington and Conn’s Home Plus are tenants at the property. A private foreign owner has selected 1st Commercial to provide property management services for Countryside Marketplace in Menifee. Built in 2008 on 32 acres, the 721,000-square-foot property is fully leased. Current tenants include Super Target, Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, Kohl’s, Best Buy, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Michaels, Burlington, Staples, Petco and Boot Barn.
