Nerd Street Gamers to Open Esports Campus in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — Nerd Street Gamers, a provider of infrastructure services for the esports industry, will open The Block, an esports campus at 401 N. Broad St. in Philadelphia. Christian Dyer and Jackie Balin of CBRE represented data center owner-operator Netrality, which owns the 1.3 million-square-foot building, in the lease negotiations. The space will not only function as Nerd Street Gamers’ new corporate headquarters, but it will also include global broadcast studios, dedicated training centers for professional teams and schools and educational space for community partners.

Stream Realty Partners Negotiates 203,040 SF Industrial Lease in Mesquite, Texas

MESQUITE, TEXAS — Stream Realty Partners has negotiated a 203,040-square-foot industrial lease at Urban District 30 in the eastern Dallas suburb of Mesquite. For the tenant, online light bulb retailer 1000Bulbs.com, the lease represents an expansion of 60 percent of its previous warehouse capacity. Matt Dornak and Drew Feagin of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, Urban Logistics Realty, in the lease negotiations. Blake Kendrick and Seth Koschak, also with Stream Realty Partners, represented the tenant. At full completion, which is slated for the fourth quarter, Urban District 30 will total approximately 977,000 square feet across five buildings.

Burlington Opens New Store at Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan, New Jersey

RARITAN, N.J. — Burlington has opened a new store at Somerville Circle Shopping Center, a 150,000-square-foot property located at the intersection of Routes 202/206 and Route 28 in Raritan, about 45 miles southeast of New York City. Burlington has backfilled a space formerly occupied by Toys ‘R’ Us/Babies ‘R’ Us. Other tenants at the center include Staples, Petco, Jersey Mike’s, Burger King and Five Below. Levin Management Corp. manages the property. The square footage of the store was not disclosed.

DELRAN, N.J. — Monster Pets, a retailer that serves the Philadelphia area, has signed a 57,930-square-foot industrial lease in the Southern New Jersey city of Delran. The property, which is now fully leased, is located near U.S. Route 130 and Swedes Run Industrial Park. Scott Mertz of NAI Mertz represented the landlord, a partnership between Endurance Real Estate Group and PCCP, in the lease negotiations. The representative of the tenant was not disclosed.

MINNEAPOLIS — Deluxe Corp. has leased 71,000 square feet of office space at 801 Marquette Ave. and 23,000 square feet at 121 S. Eighth St. in Minneapolis. Franklin Street Properties Corp. owns both office buildings, which now boast occupancy rates of approximately 92 percent. Deluxe, a financial tech firm, also leased 172,000 square feet of office space in Atlanta this month.

Sportsman’s Warehouse to Debut New Store in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on Sept. 24

CHAMBERSBURG, PA. — Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SPWH) will open a new store at 3285 Black Gap Road in Chambersburg, located roughly midway between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in the southern part of the state. A grand opening celebration will take place Thursday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Sept. 26. The store will be the fourth Sportsman’s Warehouse in Pennsylvania and will offer more than 60,000 region-specific items including brand-name hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, apparel and footwear merchandise.

WESTBURY, N.Y. — Bloomingdale’s Furniture will open a 25,000-square-foot store at Samanea Mall in Westbury, located on Long Island, in spring 2021. Matthew Kucker and Jordan Baruch of Colliers International represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Brian Schuster of Ripco Real Estate represented Bloomingdale’s. Samanea Mall originally opened in 1997 and is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation.

DALLAS — Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, a Dallas-based bottler of the soft drink giant, has signed an office lease at Lincoln Centre, a 1.6 million-square-foot office campus located at 5420 LBJ Freeway in North Dallas. Matthew Schendle and Clint Madison of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Nuveen Real Estate, in the lease negotiations. Conor McCarthy and Greg Biggs of JLL represented the tenant, which expects to move in to its new space next year. The square footage of the lease was not disclosed.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Opens New Store at San Pedro Crossing in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO —Dick’s Sporting Goods has opened a new store at San Pedro Crossing, a retail center located at the junction of NW Loop 410 and San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio. Lincoln Property Co. owns the shopping center, which is located across the street from North Star Mall and also houses tenants such as The Container Store, Barnes & Noble and Office Depot. The store will be the Pittsburgh-based retailer’s fifth in the San Antonio area. The square footage of the new store was not disclosed.

Hibbett Sports Opens 5,600 SF Store at Mall in Morgantown, West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.VA. — Hibbett Sports has opened a 5,600-square-foot store within Morgantown Mall. The Birmingham, Ala.-based sports retailer offers brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Jordan, The North Face and Adidas. The new location implements the company’s new store design, which features an open concept, phone charging stations and other amenities for customers to experience. The mall location also offers online, pick-up in-store and curbside pick-up shopping options. Morgantown Mall is located at 9235 Mall Road, three miles southwest of downtown Morgantown and three miles south of West Virginia University.
