NOVI, MICH. — Crate & Barrel is set to open a new location at Twelve Oaks Mall in the Detroit suburb of Novi. Twelve Oaks Mall is home to 180 specialty stores and 30 restaurants. Crate & Barrel is scheduled to open the 26,000-square-foot store on Thursday, June 3. The new location will showcase the largest kitchen department in the brand’s portfolio, a reimagined bedding department and a space for the services provided in its Design Studio. The store design incorporates locally sourced materials and high efficiency systems for reduced energy use, according to a news release.

ATLANTA — Rosé Bistro & Champagne Bar, a Parisian cuisine and wine bar concept, is set to open this fall at Atlantic Station, the 138-acre retail, restaurant and entertainment destination in West Midtown Atlanta. Located at 232 19th St., the bistro will feature a wine list and French dishes for brunch, dinner and light bites. Houston-based Hines is the property management firm at Atlantic Station. Situated near Atlantic Green, Rosé Bistro & Champagne Bar will offer a raw bar, indoor and outdoor dining and a full bar with cocktails including rosé champagne punch and French 75. The 1,634-square-foot bistro is the newest restaurant to join the tenant mix at Atlantic Station. With additional tenants to be announced, Atlantic Station plans to open tenants such as Azotea Cantina, LINDBERGH and Toscano Ristorante Italian this year. Another current tenant is the Regal Atlantic Station, which just opened back up after being closed since October 9, 2020 due to COVID-19.
CARROLLTON, TEXAS — Newmark has negotiated a 28,576-square-foot industrial lease expansion at 1125 Hayden Drive in the northern Dallas suburb of Carrollton. According to LoopNet Inc., the property was built in 1981 and totals 77,486 square feet. Garrett Gibbons Jr., Trace Elrod, Reggie Beavan III, Andy Iversen, Chris Mason, John Beach and Jack Brewer of Newmark represented the tenant, Packaging Solutions Inc., in the lease negotiations. Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the landlord, an entity doing business as MP Acquiport Industrial LLC.
BOSTON — WHOOP, a locally based sports tech and analytics company, has signed a 121,000-square-foot office headquarters lease in the Kenmore Square area of Boston. The company will occupy all eight floors of office space at the newly delivered Commonwealth Building, as well as a portion of the ground-floor retail space. WHOOP expects to house as many as 1,000 employees within the building. Robert Jangro of JLL represented WHOOP in the lease negotiations. Dave Martel, Mike Greeley and Jason Cameron of Newmark represented the landlord, Related Beal.
DENTON, TEXAS — Southwest Warehouse Services, a Fort Worth-based logistics company, has signed a 175,000-square-foot lease at a 374,560-square-foot speculative cold storage facility in the North Texas city of Denton. Cold Creek Solutions is the developer of the project, which features 45-foot clear heights, 65 trailer parking spaces and multi-temperature zones. MCM Real Estate Advisors LLC represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Cold Creek Solutions was self-represented. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter and to be complete in the second quarter of 2022.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Newmark has negotiated a 63,000-square-foot industrial sublease at Valley View Business Center in Fort Worth. Frank Puskarich, Jim Cooksey, Louis Pascuzzi and Reid Halverson of Newmark represented the subtenant, linen manufacturer Brunton International Inc., in the lease negotiations. The representative of the sublandlord, Tosca Services Inc., was not disclosed.
SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. — ePost Global Inc., a California-based provider of global delivery solutions, has signed a 41,256-square-foot industrial lease at 18 Central Blvd. in South Hackensack, located in the northern part of the state. Jason Fisch of F. Greek Development Inc. represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Stephen Jennings represented the landlord, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, on an internal basis.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — McWane Inc., an Alabama-based manufacturer of iron water works and plumbing products, has signed a 66,961-square-foot industrial lease at 1201 Avenue S in the central metroplex city of Grand Prairie. According to LoopNet Inc., the property was built on 5.4 acres in 1997, totals approximately 116,000 square feet and features 24-foot clear heights. Art Leichner and Andrew Crites of Newmark represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. CBRE represented the landlord, an entity doing business as TAF Dallas Industrial Portfolio LP.
HUMBLE AND SPRING, TEXAS — EDGE Realty Partners has negotiated two restaurant leases totaling 4,913 square feet on the northern outskirts of Houston. Dave’s Hot Chicken signed a lease to open a 2,995-square-foot restaurant at Spring Town Center in Spring, and Teriyaki Madness inked a deal for a 1,918-square-foot space at West Lake Crossing in Humble. In the first transaction, Debbie Adams of EDGE Realty represented Dave’s Hot Chicken, and Kevin Sims of NewQuest Properties represented the unnamed landlord. In the second deal, Kathy King of EDGE represented Teriyaki Madness, and Brett Strake of NewQuest Properties represented the undisclosed landlord.
NEW YORK CITY — Tishman Speyer has opened two new spaces for Studio, the locally based landlord’s coworking concept, at 11 W. 42nd St. and 175 Varick St. in Manhattan. The first location spans approximately 40,000 square feet, and the second one comprises three floors with the potential to grow to 80,000 square feet. The spaces feature private offices of various sizes, and members have access to an on-demand and onsite suite of amenities created by Tishman Speyer. Those amenities include in-person and virtual wellness and fitness programs, backup childcare, food delivery and onsite medical services.
