SHERRILL, N.Y. — Briggs & Stratton, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of gasoline engines, has signed a 566,706-square-foot industrial lease at Silver City Industrial Campus in Sherrill, an eastern suburb of Syracuse. Silver City Industrial Campus spans 90 acres and 864,668 square feet and includes 200,000 square feet of land for future expansion. A partnership between Florida-based firm Index Investment Group and OX Group owns the property.

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis-based general contractor McCarthy has relocated its headquarters to a new space that is nearly 30,000 square feet larger than its previous office. McCarthy Holdings Inc. will occupy the building’s third floor and staff members of the central region of McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. will occupy the second floor. The building is located at 12851 Manchester Road. McCarthy collaborated with building owner Franklin Partners to complete extensive interior and exterior renovations prior to its move-in. The buildout features a central staircase connecting the two floors as well as conference and training facilities, flex space, a fitness center and micro café. A construction technology suite features smart screens and three-dimensional virtual reality technology. In response to COVID-19, the building’s existing HVAC system was upgraded to an air treatment system designed to neutralize pathogens. Workspaces have been arranged to incorporate social distancing. Divider screens separate individuals and panel heights between workstations were increased by 16 inches. Christner Architects served as project architect. The building was originally constructed in 1996 for AT&T.
RIVERSIDE, MO. — Sunpro Solar has signed a 20,380-square-foot industrial lease at Belgium Business Park Building 2 in Riverside, just north of Kansas City. The Class A property spans 100,000 square feet and is fully leased. Mark Long and John Hassler of Newmark Zimmer represented the landlord, a subsidiary of Green Bay Packaging. Nick Tinnel of True North Industrial Realty LLC represented the tenant, which is a solar panel installation company.
YPSILANTI, MICH. — Pet Supplies Plus has signed a lease for 6,800 square feet at Paint Creek Plaza, a Kroger-anchored shopping center in Ypsilanti. The retailer plans to open the new store later this year. Tjader Gerdom & Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented Pet Supplies Plus in the lease transaction. Grenadier Properties owns and manages Paint Creek Plaza, which is located on Whittaker Road.
WAYNE, N.J. — Discount hardware and equipment retailer Harbor Freight Tools has opened a 16,000-square-foot store in Wayne, located outside of New York City. Lew Finkelstein, C.J. Huter and Roy Paret of The Goldstein Group represented the Landlord, Glen Eagle Shopping Center LLC, in the lease negotiations. Marcus Bourn and Andrew Connolly of Newmark represented the tenant.
Cushman & Wakefield Arranges $14.5M Sale-Leaseback for Industrial Facility in Orlando

ORLANDO, FLA. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a $14.5 million sale-leaseback for a distribution facility in Orlando. GES, a Las Vegas-based marketing and logistics partner for the exhibition and convention industry, is the seller and the sole tenant of the property. Skye Cook, Brad Torell, Jared Bonshire, David Perez, Taylor Zambito, Rick Colon, Mike Davis and Rick Brugge of Cushman & Wakefield represented GES in the transaction. An affiliate of Coral Springs, Fla.-based Eisenberg Investment Group acquired the property. Located at 4805 W. Sand Lake Road, the 192,700-square-foot property is situated on 17 acres and is used for GES’ regional and international operations. The property includes 44,167 square feet of two-story office space, a trailer storage yard, onsite weigh station, clear heights of 21 feet to 29 feet, 38 dock doors and 254 parking spaces. The GES facility is located 12 miles from Walt Disney World Resort.
NAPERVILLE, ILL. — Franklin Partners has executed leases totaling roughly 164,388 square feet at The Shuman, a five-story office building in Naperville. Franklin completed an extensive renovation of the property in September 2019. To date, lease signings include Brown & Brown Insurance, Derick Dermatology, Philadelphia Insurance, 3WON, Securitas Electronic Security Inc., SkyBridge, Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc. and CIMC Capital, as well as two undisclosed tenants. There are 150,000 square feet remaining available for lease.
NEW YORK CITY — Newmark has negotiated an 8,718-square-foot retail lease for luxury accessories provider Valentino at 135 Spring St. in the Soho area of Manhattan. The new store spans 4,424 square feet on the ground floor and 4,294 square feet on the second level. Newmark’s Ariel Schuster, Ross Berkowitz and Brandon Miller represented the landlord, Invesco Real Estate, in the lease negotiations.
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — Ampacet Corp., a manufacturer of masterbatches, an additive used for coloring plastics, has signed a 35,000-square-foot office lease renewal in the northern New York City suburb of Tarrytown. Jamie Schwartz internally represented the landlord, GHP Office Realty LLC, an affiliate of Houlihan-Parnes Realtors LLC, in the negotiations for the seven-year renewal. The deal brings the property, which GHP acquired in 2017, to full occupancy.
CHICAGO — Frozen Assets has signed an 86,000-square-foot cold storage lease in Chicago. The property is located at 4220 S. Kildare Ave. Frozen Assets, a Chicago-based cold storage and logistics provider, is slated to occupy the space beginning in May. Steven Livaditis of CBRE represented the tenant in the lease transaction. The landlord was undisclosed. With the new lease, Frozen Assets will maintain the largest freezer footprint in Chicago, according to CBRE.
