CHICAGO — SOLVD Health, a life sciences company specializing in data-driven disease prevention, is relocating its corporate headquarters to Chicago from Carlsbad, Calif. The tech startup will occupy space in Sterling Bay’s 2430 N. Halsted, a life sciences research facility located in Lincoln Park. Additionally, SOLVD says it intends to expand future operations at Sterling Bay’s Lincoln Yards development along the Chicago River. SOLVD’s space at 2430 N. Halsted is meant to be temporary until the company moves to Lincoln Yards, according to Sterling Bay. SOLVD expects to begin corporate operations in Chicago while continuing to operate its manufacturing, research and development, and commercial lab facilities in Carlsbad. The company is currently in the process of commercializing two tests, one for opioid use disorder and one for colon cancer.

WILMINGTON, MASS. — Homans Associates, a distributor of HVAC supplies and equipment, has signed a 202,435-square-foot industrial lease at 613 Main St. in Wilmington, a northern suburb of Boston. Tony Coskren, Ed Jarosz, Richard Ruggiero, Torin Taylor, Rick Schuhwerk, Brian Pinch, and Lizzie Kusbit of Newmark represented the landlord, a joint venture between The Seyon Group and Connecticut-based Wheelock Street Capital, in the lease negotiations. The representative of the tenant was not disclosed.

DALLAS — Exegistics Government Solutions, a third-party logistics firm, has signed a 59,517-square-foot industrial lease renewal at Turnpike Distribution Center 4, located at 2130 French Settlement Road in West Dallas. According to LoopNet Inc., the property spans 312,188 square feet on 11.5 acres. Sean Smith and Jade Scott of Whitebox Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Carter Crow of Younger Partners represented the undisclosed landlord.

INDIANAPOLIS — Chicken Salad Chick is slated to open at Pyramid Place Shopping Center in Indianapolis on Tuesday, March 16. This is the first of four company-owned restaurants to open in central Indiana. Additional locations are scheduled to open in Fishers, Glendale and Greenwood. The Indianapolis restaurant will feature a drive-thru in addition to dine-in, carryout, delivery and curbside pickup options. In addition to its various chicken salad flavors, Chicken Salad Chick serves salads, sides and soups. The company was founded in Auburn, Ala. in 2008.

ALTOONA, IOWA — Coach will open an outlet store at the Outlets of Des Moines this fall. The retailer will offer both women’s and men’s apparel in addition to accessories, handbags and fragrances. Outlets of Des Moines is an open-air shopping destination located in Altoona. It is home to Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour Factory House, Eddie Bauer Outlet, American Eagle Outfitters and more. New England Development is the developer and owner for the 300,000-square-foot outlet mall, which opened in 2017.

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Investment banking firm Aegis Capital Corp. has signed a 9,134-square-foot office lease at 1305 Walt Whitman Road in Melville, located on Long Island. The three-story property was built in 1955. Joseph Lopresti of JLL represented Aegis Capital in the lease negotiations. Tim Parlante internally represented the landlord, The Feil Organization, which acquired the asset in 2015 and implemented a value-add program.

ROMEOVILLE, ILL. — Radial Inc. has signed a long-term lease extension for its distribution center in Romeoville. The commerce technology and operations company occupies 421,361 square feet at 715 Theodore Court near I-55. Paul Diederich, Todd Lippman, Traci Payette and Stephanie Park of CBRE represented Radial in the lease. The landlord was undisclosed. Building improvements were negotiated as part of the lease transaction, according to Diederich.

NEW YORK CITY — Locally based developer The Georgetown Co. has signed leases with two tenants to its 200,000-square-foot life sciences project at 787 11th Ave. on Manhattan’s Far West Side. The property is now fully preleased. Healthcare provider Mount Sinai signed a long-term lease for 165,000 square feet, and scientist and designer Neri Oxman inked a deal to operate a 36,000-square-foot space. The property houses space for lab, office, research and biomedical uses.

Lakeside-Ranch-Flower-Mound

FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS — An undisclosed global provider of wireless telecommunications services has signed a 274,994-square-foot industrial lease at Lakeside Ranch Business Park in the Fort Worth suburb of Flower Mound. The tenant will occupy the entirety of Lakeside Ranch 350, a building that was developed speculatively by Indianapolis-based Duke Realty. Mark Miller, Rick Medinis and Randy Wood of NAI Robert Lynn, along with internal agent Matt Hyman, represented Duke Realty in the lease negotiations. Mitchell Wolf of Newmark represented the tenant.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — Costco Wholesale Corp. and Costco Innovel Solutions have leased 30,000 square feet at Woodfield Preserve Office Center in Schaumburg. The property is located at 10 N. Martingale Road. Costco expects to begin occupying the space in April. The two-building Woodfield Preserve recently underwent renovations such as lobby remodeling and elevator cab modernization. Amenities include fitness centers, conference centers, tenant lounges, game rooms, delis and an outdoor courtyard. William Elwood and Robert Graham of CBRE represented ownership, Zeller, in the lease transaction. David Stefancic and Lexis Livengood of Cushman & Wakefield represented Costco. Other tenants at the property include Assurance, Byline Bank, Hitachi, New York Life and Progressive.
