SAN ANTONIO — EVO Entertainment, an entertainment retail concept that combines bowling, movies, games, food and beverages, will open an 80,000-square-foot venue at Escala in San Antonio. The center will feature 10 movie screens, 12 bowling lanes, a restaurant and bar, arcade and virtual reality games, a ropes course and private event space. Metro Dallas-based N3 Real Estate is the developer of Escala, a shopping center located at the intersection of State Highway 151 and Military Drive on the city’s northwest side. The venue will be the seventh for EVO, which primarily operates in Central Texas, and is scheduled to open in January 2021.

FRISCO, TEXAS — Addus HomeCare, a provider of comprehensive home caregiving and support services, has signed a 75,000-square-foot lease at The Offices Two at Frisco Station, located north of Dallas, for its new headquarters. The company will relocate from its current 31,000-square-foot space to the 210,000-square-foot building, which is located within the 242-acre Frisco Station mixed-use development, this fall. The developer, VanTrust Real Estate, is currently preleasing a third office building at the site that is expected to be complete in early 2021.

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. — Bridge Development Partners has signed HapCor, a grocer in the Caribbean and Latin America, to a 114,808-square-foot industrial lease within Bridge Point Commerce Center in Miami Gardens. Phase I of the industrial park was delivered in late 2019 and includes three buildings spanning 1.1 million square feet. The buildings feature 32-foot clear heights and are divisible by 40,000 square feet. At full build-out, the property will comprise 2.1 million square feet. The asset is situated on 185 acres at 3900 NW 215th St., 20 miles from both Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Tom O’Loughlin and David Albert of CBRE represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Tom Viscount and Wayne Schuchts of Avison Young represented the tenant.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — Misumi USA has signed a 47,716-square-foot office lease at Schaumburg Corporate Center in Schaumburg. Located adjacent to Woodfield Mall, the property is a 1 million-square-foot, three-building office complex. Glenstar, which acquired the asset in 2017, has completed $30 million in property improvements, including a new parking garage and conference center as well as renovations to the atrium, fitness center, elevators, bathrooms, lobbies and entrances. Founded in 1988, Misumi is a factory automation, press die and plastic mold application company, serving the automotive, medical manufacturing, consumer packaging and aerospace industries. The company is relocating from 1717 Penny Lane in Schaumburg, where it leased 32,000 square feet. Misumi plans to take occupancy of the new space in June 2020.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 44,800-square-foot industrial lease at 400 International Parkway in Arlington. According to LoopNet Inc., the property features 22-foot clear heights, 88-foot truck court depths and 2,351 square feet of office space. Corbin Blount and Adam Graham of Lee & Associates represented the tenant, Go Green Industries, a provider of recycling services, in the lease negotiations. Mark Graybill and Colton Rhodes, also with Lee & Associates, represented the landlord, Lightning Propco II.

KATY, TEXAS — Emler Swim School will open a 4,900-square-foot facility at 6823 S. Fry Road in the western Houston suburb of Katy on May 4. The Katy school, which will be the company’s sixth in the Houston area, will feature a maximum four-foot deep and year-round 90-degree saltwater pool and heated air. Emler Swim School, which was founded in 1975, offers more than 20 classes and levels for students as young as two months old.

NEW YORK CITY — Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors L.P. has signed an 11,000-square-foot office lease in Midtown Manhattan. The company will occupy an entire floor at 477 Madison Avenue, a Class A office building, beginning later this year. Kayne Anderson is relocating from 655 Madison Avenue. Mitti Liebersohn, Brooks Hauf and Katie Richardson of Avison Young represented Kayne Anderson in the lease negotiations. A.J. Camhi, Rob Weller and Ryan Silverman led a team that represented the building owner, RFR Holding, on an internal basis.

FORT WAYNE, IND. — United Technologies Electronic Controls Inc. (UTEC) has signed a long-term lease for 53,246 square feet at the Indiana Office Center. The company will occupy several floors of the building, which is located at 111 E. Wayne St. in downtown Fort Wayne. Brad Sturges of Sturges Property Group handled lease negotiations on behalf of the undisclosed landlord. Tammy Canfield of Sturges will lead coordination of the construction of tenant improvements. UTEC is a manufacturer of electronic controls for the HVAC, foodservice and RV industries. Up to 140 engineers, research and development staff will begin occupying the new space this summer. Built in 1994, Indiana Office Center is an eight-story building. Current tenants include Flagstar Bank, Wells Fargo and Elevatus Architecture.

KANSAS CITY, KAN. — MVP Law is expanding its Kansas office from 26,273 square feet to 38,485 square feet. The law firm will occupy two full floors of the three-story office building located at 10 E. Cambridge Circle in Kansas City. Founded in 1901, MVP Law serves clients throughout the Midwest in workers’ compensation defense, employment law, public sector law, civil litigation and insurance defense, and business litigation and transactions. Jeremiah Dean of Copaken Brooks handled the lease negotiations.

WYOMING, MICH. — Wolverine Tacos is set to open Wednesday, April 15 in Wyoming, just south of Grand Rapids. The taco restaurant has signed a lease to occupy space at 1740 44th St. The menu will offer a variety of tacos, bowls, salads, soups, appetizers and desserts. Todd Leinberger and Rod Alderink of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease transaction. Carol Johnson is the owner of Wolverine Tacos.
