ANDOVER, MASS. — Dräger Medical Systems, a German manufacturer of medical equipment, has signed a 128,000-square-foot office lease renewal for its headquarters at 6 Tech Drive in Andover, a northern suburb of Boston. Over the next 18 months, Dräger will complete a full renovation of the facility. Michael Dalton, Blake Baldwin, Sharon Joyce, Deanne Munger and Joel Schur of Cushman & Wakefield represented Dräger in the lease negotiations. Matt Adams of Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord, a partnership between Novaya Real Estate Ventures and Wheelock Street Capital.

DefinedLogic Signs 12,224 SF Office Lease at Mixed-Use Development in Red Bank, New Jersey

RED BANK, N.J. — DefinedLogic LLC, a digital consultant agency, has signed a 12,224-square-foot office lease in Red Bank, a southern suburb of New York City. The office is part The Rail @ Red Bank Station, an upcoming 30,898-square-foot mixed-use development that will also feature 57 units of multifamily housing and 6,000 square feet of retail of space. Denholtz Properties, a New Jersey-based firm, is developing the project. Construction is slated for completion in 2020.
COLUMBUS, OHIO — Spartan Logistics has signed a 257,962-square-foot industrial lease at 3100 Creekside in Columbus. The three-year lease brings the 340,000-square-foot property to 76 percent occupancy. Plymouth Industrial REIT Inc. owns the property. Spartan Logistics is a full-service, third-party logistics company providing transportation solutions throughout the United States and Canada. Spartan, which plans to use the facility for warehousing and distribution of personal care supplies, will take occupancy of the space in September. The company has several locations in Arkansas, Ohio and South Carolina.
SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Leco Plastics Inc., a New Jersey-based manufacturer, has signed a 31,550-square-foot industrial lease in Saddle Brook, a western suburb of New York City. The building features 5,000 square feet of office space and 20-foot ceiling heights. Steven Leitner and Scott Perkins of NAI James Hanson represented the owner, Wilbur ’96 LLC, in the transaction.
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — NAI James Hanson has negotiated a 27,600-square-foot industrial lease for Best Value Kosher Foods in Elmwood Park, a western suburb of New York City. The space is located within 475 Mola Boulevard, a 45,000-square-foot building that features 7,000 square feet of office space, six loading docks and a fitness center. Jeff DeMagistris, Tom Vetter, and Tom Ryan of NAI James Hanson represented Best Value Kosher Foods in the lease negotiations. The NAI team also represented the owner, The Stro Companies.
OKLAHOMA CITY — CBRE has negotiated a 42,750-square-foot industrial lease renewal at 357 N. Harvard Ave. in Oklahoma City for HDG Products, an entity doing business as Hunton Distribution Group. David Portman of CBRE represented the landlord, Crow-Oklahoma #10, in the lease negotiations. The representative of the tenant was not disclosed.
DALLAS — Hana, a subsidiary of CBRE, has opened Hana PwC Tower at Park District in downtown Dallas. The Hana brand is CBRE’s flagship flexible workspace concept. The space spans 67,000 square feet and two and a half floors of the 500,000-square-foot PwC Tower. CBRE expects to open additional Hana locations in the United States and the United Kingdom in the coming months.
CHESHIRE, CONN. — O,R&L Commercial, a Connecticut-based brokerage firm, has negotiated a 22,000-square-foot lease in Cheshire, a city located about 25 miles southwest of Hartford. Baseball training company D-BAT will open its second Connecticut facility at the formerly vacant industrial property. Luke Massirio of O,R&L represented the landlord, Sky Management LLC, in the lease negotiations. Brett Sherman of Angel Commercial represented D-BAT.
HANAHAN, S.C. — Avison Young has negotiated a 101,823-square-foot industrial lease on behalf of W.W. Williams Co. at 5801 N. Rhett Ave. in Hanahan. W.W. Williams specializes in fleet management and logistics services. Situated about 11 miles from Port of Charleston, 5801 N. Rhett Ave. is a 300,000-square-foot building that features 18 dock doors. Alan Bolduc, Courtney Marous and Kathleen Isola of Avison Young represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Charleston-based Bridge Commercial represented the landlord, CenterPoint Properties Trust.
HOUSTON — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 46,950-square-foot industrial lease at 8700 Clay Road in Houston for Imperial Wholesale Inc., a provider of ceramic and tile products. According to LoopNet Inc., the property was built in 1980 and totals 160,275 square feet. Jim Autenreith and Sam Rayburn of Moody Rambin represented the building owner in the lease negotiations. Preston Yaggi of Lee & Associates represented Imperial Wholesale.
