OMAHA — Flywheel, a web hosting company, has leased 66,000 square feet within the Millwork Commons development in Omaha for its new headquarters. Millwork Commons is a $300 million mixed-use development spearheaded by Black Dog Management. Flywheel will be the anchor tenant and will occupy 1.5 floors at the property by summer 2020. Currently, Flywheel employs a team of more than 200 people with offices in Omaha, Australia and Europe. Barry Zoob and Chris Mensinger of Colliers International represented Flywheel in the lease transaction.

NORTHVILLE, MICH. — Burn Boot Camp has leased 6,240 square feet to open a Northville location at 16831-16863 Ridge Road. The North Carolina-based fitness center franchise has more than 65 locations nationally. This will be the company’s fourth fitness center in Michigan. The company offers high-intensity classes that last 45 minutes. Thomas Wardlow of Colliers International represented the tenant in the lease transaction. The landlord was not disclosed. Burn Boot Camp hopes to be open before the end of the year.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Lee & Associates New Jersey has secured a 526,400-square-foot industrial lease for XPO Logistics in South Brunswick. Lee & Associates represented XPO Logistics in securing a long term lease with owner Prologis. The property is located at 115 Interstate Boulevard and previously served as the Tory Burch Distribution Center.
ROMEOVILLE, ILL. — RJW Transport has signed a 416,504-square-foot industrial lease at 50 Southcreek Parkway in Romeoville. This is the third major lease for RJW this year for a combined total of 1.2 million square feet. The trucking and logistics company previously signed leases in Woodridge and Bolingbrook. Dominic Carbonari of JLL represented RJW in its latest lease. The landlord was not disclosed.
CHICAGO — Hektoen Institute of Medicine has opened a 6,190-square-foot office at 1339 S. Wood St. in the Illinois Medical District of Chicago. The 11,700-square-foot building is also home to Vertiport Chicago, the only vertical helicopter landing facility in the city. Larry Cohn and Becca Lundstrom of @properties Commercial represented Hektoen in the lease transaction. The lease is for seven years.
RICHARDSON, TEXAS — MetroPCS Communications Inc. has renewed its 115,583-square-foot office lease at Lakeside Centre II, an office property located at 2250 Lakeside Blvd. in the northeastern Dallas metro of Richardson. Tim Terrell and Chase Lopez of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, Vereit, in the lease negotiations. CBRE represented the tenant.
MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS— NAI Partners has arranged a 30,000-square-foot industrial lease at 14039 S. Gessner Road in Missouri City, a southwestern suburb of Houston. Darren O’Conor and Jake Wilkinson of NAI Partners represented the landlord, Roadrunner Ltd., in the lease negotiations. Wes Williams of Boyd Commercial represented the tenant, Almofa LLC, a Houston-based furniture supplier.
DETROIT — Metro Commercial Real Estate has negotiated two new locations for The EDGE Fitness Club in metro Detroit. The fitness club will occupy 37,000 square feet in Farmington Hills in a space formerly occupied by Kohl’s. The opening is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019. In Sterling Heights, EDGE will occupy 36,676 square feet in a space formerly occupied by Kroger. The opening is also slated for the fourth quarter of 2019. Brandon Anapol of Metro led the leasing team. EDGE facilities are accessible at all hours. Fitness classes, training, nutrition and weight loss support are available.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Coworking firm Spaces will open a 53,000-square-foot space at 501 Congress Ave. in downtown Austin. Kelly Woodruff and Mike Cleary of CBRE represented Spaces in the lease negotiations. Brent Powdrill of JLL represented the landlord, AFIAA U.S. Investment Inc. The space, which is the company’s first in Austin, will officially open during the third quarter of 2019. Spaces is a brand owned by Regus PLC, a Luxembourg-based coworking office operator with more than 3,000 business centers in 120 countries.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — AllianceBernstein (AB), a global investment firm with approximately $500 billion in assets under management, has selected Fifth + Broadway, a 6.2-acre mixed-use project in downtown Nashville, as its global headquarters. AB has leased 205,000 square feet at 501 Commerce, Fifth + Broadway’s Class A office tower. The company will occupy floors 18 to 25, the top floors of the tower. AB’s staff will have 360-degree views of Nashville’s Central Business District, Lower Broadway and the Cumberland River. AB announced in May 2018 that it would relocate its global headquarters to Nashville. The company expects to complete all phases of its move by 2024, bringing approximately 1,050 corporate office jobs. OliverMcMillan Spectrum | Emery LLC (OM-SE) is developing Fifth + Broadway, which is slated to open by mid-year 2020. The project also includes the 55,000-square-foot National Museum of African American Music; 200,000 square feet of entertainment and retail space, including a flagship H&M, multi-story food hall from The Food Hall Co. and Shake Shack; and 386 residential units.
