ATLANTA — Coworking firm Spaces will occupy 40,000 square feet of Building I within The Collective at Concourse in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter submarket. Spaces will occupy the entire eighth floor, as well as conference space, by November. Totaling 751,093 square feet, Buildings I, II and IV at The Collective at Concourse are undergoing a $6 million renovation to improve lobbies with collaboration spaces, natural light, new conference centers and a new greenspace for community events. This will be Spaces’ sixth location in metro Atlanta.

LANDOVER HILLS, MD. — Nellis Corp. has signed five new retail tenants to Capital Plaza Shopping Center in Landover Hills. The five retailers include Starbucks Coffee, AT&T, Tropical Smoothie Café, Quickway Hibachi and Inspire Nail Bar & Spa. The tenants will join Walmart, McDonald’s and an under-construction Royal Farms. Capital Plaza is situated at 6200 Annapolis Road, eight miles east of downtown Washington, D.C. The center offers 180,000 square feet of developed retail space. The site is under redevelopment, and Nellis Corp. expects the first of three pad sites to be delivered by the end of the year. GERMANTOWN, WIS. — Smart Warehousing has leased a 200,000-square-foot industrial facility at Zilber Property Group’s Germantown Gateway Corporate Park in Germantown, a northwest suburb of Milwaukee. The building, known as Zilber Industrial 3, is under construction and slated for completion this fall. Kansas City-based Smart Warehousing is a warehousing, fulfillment and logistical solutions company with operations located throughout the country. John Sharpe of Lee & Associates represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Michael Kleber of Zilber represented the landlord. Zilber recently completed a 706,000-square-foot build-to-suit for Briggs & Stratton Corp. at the 140-acre Germantown Gateway Corporate Park. The company is developing another 200,000-square-foot speculative building at the park.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CALIF. — Two new restaurants are joining the tenant roster at Manhattan Village, a 573,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor mixed-use dining and retail property located in Manhattan Beach. The restaurants are: • dan by ROC (Republic of China), a new concept from ROC that offers home-cooked Chinese food, specializing in dumplings and noodles. Situated within the Village Shops, the 3,500-square-foot location is scheduled to open in fall 2020. • edo Little Bites, which is the newest creation of Chef Edoardo Baldi, creator of e.baldi. Located in Village Shops, the 642-square-foot eatery is slated to open in fall 2020. Kristin Grove and Devin Klein of JLL secured the new tenants. In January, the second phase of redevelopment at Manhattan Village started and includes the Village Shops, which encompasses more than 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, two parking decks, a large green space for community gatherings, a water feature, clock tower, seating areas and lush landscaping. Completion of the Village Shops is scheduled for 2021. Situated on 44 acres, Manhattan Village is currently home to Apple, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Macy’s, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, Tommy Bahama and Kiehl’s. EDEN PRAIRIE, MINN. — Brick & Bourbon, a craft bar and eatery, has signed a lease to occupy space within Elevate at Southwest Station Apartments in Eden Prairie. The apartment project is expected to open in late August, with Brick & Bourbon opening by the end of the year. This will be the fourth location for Brick & Bourbon. Unique offerings include the candied bacon flight, chocolate cigars and Reuben soup in a crock, along with more traditional fare such as sandwiches, ribs and wings. The space will include an outdoor patio. The $63.7 million Elevate includes 13,000 square feet of retail space. Kaas Wilson Architects designed the 222-unit project. ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND FRANKLIN PARK, ILL. — Stream Realty Partners has been retained to manage two new Class A industrial properties in suburban Chicago from Principal Real Estate Investors on behalf of an institutional client. The first is a 133,000-square-foot building in Elk Grove Village. Completed in December, the facility is situated on 6.5 acres. Seko Worldwide and Gran Quartz occupy the property, which features 20 exterior docks and a clear height of 32 feet. The second is a 400,370-square-foot building in Franklin Park. Completed in May, the facility is currently available for lease. Situated on 20 acres, it offers 79 exterior docks and a clear height of 36 feet.
WHITINSVILLE, MASS. — The Stubblebine Co., a CORFAC member and brokerage firm based in the Boston area, has negotiated a 78,000-square-foot industrial lease at 355 Main St. in Whitinsville, located south of Worcester. The lease represents an expansion of the current footprint of the tenant, Core-Mark, a Fortune 400 distributor and marketer of consumer goods. David Stubblebine and James Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Co. represented the landlord, WRT Management, in the lease negotiations. The 355,000-square-foot building is situated on 26 acres and features an ESFR sprinkler system and T-5 lighting.
LEE’S SUMMIT, MO. AND SHAWNEE, KAN. — Hotworx, a high intensity isometric fitness concept, has signed two long-term leases in Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Shawnee, Kan. The Lee’s Summit location will be located at 1309 NE Douglas St. and span 1,900 square feet. The studio is slated to open this summer. In Shawnee, Hotworx will occupy a 2,000-square-foot space in a Bank of America-anchored strip center. The location is also expected to open this summer. Bill Maas and Daniel Brocato of Block & Co. Inc. Realtors represented Hotworx in the lease transactions. The brokers are currently working with Hotworx to open a location in Liberty, Mo., later this year. The fitness company currently operates a studio in Lawrence, Kan.
DALLAS — Eataly, a concept that offers Italian-inspired food and drink in a marketplace setting, has signed a lease to open a 48,000-square-foot space at NorthPark Center, an enclosed shopping mall in Dallas. This location will be the company’s first in Texas. Scott Muller, Katie Rambie, Kiley Pipkin, Zach Ballenger, Justin Rasansky, Sydney Muller and Jack Gosnell of CBRE represented Eataly in the lease negotiations.
FRISCO, TEXAS — Complexity Gaming, an esports organization, has opened its 11,000-square-foot office headquarters at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys 91-acre mixed-use campus in Frisco. Designed by ICRAVE, the space features a public area and retail space, as well as training rooms and innovation labs for esports players, which compete professionally in video games. A GameStop Performance Center will also open this summer and will carry merchandise from Complexity Gaming.
