NEW YORK CITY — Med Review, a subsidiary of the New York County Health Services Organizations that provides healthcare assessment services, has inked a deal to lease 72,439 square feet of office space at 199 Water Street in New York City. As part of the deal, the firm is taking an additional 35,454 square feet on the seventh floor, while also renewing its 36,985-square-foot space that spans the entire 27th floor. Built in 1984, 199 Water Street was renovated in 2014 to offer upgraded signage and lighting, as well as to add a new parking garage and tenant amenities. Brett Greenberg and Adam Rappaport represented the landlord, Jack Resnick & Sons, on an internal basis, along with John Cefaly, Robert Constable, Ethan Silverstein, Stephen Bellwood and Myles Fennon of Cushman & Wakefield. Mark Ravesloot and Bill Iacovelli of CBRE represented Med Review. Other tenants at the 1.1 million-square-foot property include The Howard Hughes Corp. and Allied World Insurance Co.

BOSTON — Dallas-based developer Trammell Crow Co. will open a new office in Boston. Charles Leatherbee, who joins the company from Skanska USA Commercial Development and most recently served as executive vice president in that firm’s Boston office, will head the new Trammell Crow office beginning Monday, May 6. The exact location and square footage of the new office is still being negotiated. The company hopes to announce that information in the coming weeks. Trammell Crow CEO Matt Khourie cited Boston’s diversified economy and deep pool of talent as key reasons behind the company’s decision to open the Boston office, which will offer development services for office, multifamily, life sciences and industrial product.
NEW YORK CITY — Real estate consulting firm Vanbarton Group has signed a 10,024-square-foot office lease at Penn Plaza, located at 132 W. 31st St. in Manhattan’s Midtown area. The lease term spans seven years. Mitchell Konsker, Matthew Astrachan, Adam Haber and Kyle Young of JLL represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Gabe Marans and Justin Greenstone of Savills Inc. represented the landlord, ExecOnline. The company is relocating from 860 Broadway.
SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Gerdom Realty & Investment has completed the lease-up of Phase I at The Shops at Nottinghill in Shelby Township. The final tenant, Devine Nails, leased a 2,131-square-foot space. The nail salon plans to open in the third quarter of this year. Mike Murphy, Tjader Gerdom and Larry Siedell of Gerdom represented the landlord. Phase II of the shopping center will include up to 5,000 square feet.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Bearded Iris Brewery and Barista Parlor, both local to Nashville, have signed leases to join the tenant lineup at Sylvan Supply in Nashville. Atlanta-based Third & Urban and Chevy Chase, Md.-based FCP are renovating the 96-year-old mill on Charlotte Avenue into a six-building, 130,700-square-foot mixed-use development that will feature office space, outdoor areas and 32,850 square feet of retail and dining space. Bearded Iris Brewery, named for Tennessee’s state flower, will brew experiential batches exclusive to the location, as well as its full portfolio of beer. Barista Parlor will offer coffee and breakfast. Sylvan Supply is expected to open this year and both Iris Bearded Brewery and Barista Parlor are expected to move in early next year. Elliott Kyle of Equitable Property Co. represented the developers in the lease transactions.
BURLINGTON, MASS. — R.W. Holmes Commercial Real Estate has negotiated a 14,011-square-foot lease for flex space at 141 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, about 20 miles northwest of Boston. The tenant was Zimmer Northeast, a subsidiary of Zimmer Biomet (NYSE: ZBH), which manufactures and distributes orthopedics products. Mike Ogasapian and Garry Holmes of R.W. Holmes represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Jordan Yarboro and Madison Chambers of JLL represented the landlord, The Berman Cos.
NEW YORK CITY — Goldfish Swim School, which operates more than 80 swimming schools for children around the country, has signed a 10-year, 9,660-square-foot lease at Glen Oaks Shopping Center in Queens. The center, which is owned by local firm The Feil Organization, spans 187,650 square feet. Burlington Coat Factory and Key Food anchor the property, and other tenants include Walgreens and Subway. Goldfish Swim School includes party facilities, a snack bar and heated pools.
HOUSTON — NAI Partners has negotiated a 12,000-square-foot industrial lease at 8020 Leghorn St. in Houston. According to LoopNet Inc., the property was built in 1998, offers 26,000 square feet of rentable space and features 18- to 20-foot clear heights. Andy Parrish and Lesley Rice of NAI Partners represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The tenant was Texas-based Cooper Flooring.
HOUSTON — NAI Partners has negotiated a 3,564-square-foot office lease for engineering and design firm Maser Consulting at Republic Square, a 324,000-square-foot property located at 13501 Katy Freeway in Houston. Randy Nerren, Jacob Aldridge and Zach Leger of NAI Partners represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Jack Warmington of Newmark Knight Frank represented Maser Consulting.
CARLSDADT, N.J. — Michael Halebian & Co., a provider and distributor of specialty flooring products, has signed a 35,000-square-foot industrial lease at 700 Gotham Parkway in Carlsdadt, a city located directly across from Manhattan in New Jersey. The property’s location offers proximity to major thoroughfares like the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, as well as Teterboro Airport. The owner of the 80,000-square-foot facility, Key Properties, purchased 700 Gotham Parkway as an abandoned former paint manufacturing facility in 1997 and repositioned the building from single- to multi-tenant use.
