DETROIT — H&M, a Swedish fashion retailer, has unveiled plans to open its first Detroit location this fall. The trendy clothing retailer has signed a lease with Bedrock, the real estate arm of billionaire businessman Dan Gilbert, founder and chairman of Quicken Loans. H&M will occupy a 25,000-square-foot space within three Albert Kahn-designed buildings on the west side of Woodward Avenue. The historic Woodward shopping district was once home to Detroit’s most prominent department stores, including J.L. Hudson’s.

OLATHE, KAN. — The Opus Group has signed two tenants at its recently completed 56 Commerce Center in Olathe. Gateway Classic Cars and Lanter Delivery Systems Inc. now occupy more than 85,000 square feet within the 230,000-square-foot speculative industrial building. Gateway Classic Cars is a seller of collectible and exotic automobiles. The company’s space includes a showroom for vehicles and storage. Lanter uses its space as a regional shipping hub for its local automotive, agricultural and industrial clients. The company provides specialized overnight delivery logistic services, ensuring deliveries reach their intended destinations by the following morning. Features of 56 Commerce Center include a clear height of 32 feet, a front parking lot and rear truck court. Joe Orscheln and Mike Mitchelson of CBRE marketed the property for lease. Mark Long of Newmark Grubb Zimmer represented Gateway Classic Cars while John Stafford of Colliers International represented Lanter.
DEVENS, MASS. — Nypro Inc. has signed a 247,060-square-foot lease renewal and expansion at 112 Barnum Road in Devens. The 402,249-square-foot manufacturing facility was constructed in 2008 and is located within the Devens Industrial Park. Nypro Inc. expanded its lease from 215,790 square feet to 247,060 square feet. J.R. McDonald, Torin Taylor and Ross Gaudet of NKF represented the property ownership group, Artemis Real Estate Partners, Drake Real Estate Partners and Pacer Partners, in the transaction.
CHICAGO — Rumble, a boxing-inspired workout concept, has selected its first Chicago location at 1139 N. State St. in the Gold Coast neighborhood. Nicole Cardot and Adam Secher of Baum Realty Group assisted Rumble in selecting the location. Expected to open in late summer, the 8,000-square-foot facility will be Rumble’s sixth location nationwide. Rumble classes are 45 minutes and feature full-body strength training and conditioning workouts. The company is known for its aqua training bags, which are tear drop-shaped, water-filled punching bags. Baum represented Rumble in negotiations with the landlord, Newcastle Limited. Danny Jacobson, Luke Molloy and Stephen Ansani of CBRE represented Newcastle.
LOCKPORT, ILL. — Pepperidge Farm Inc. has leased 87,602 square feet of industrial space at Heritage Crossing in Lockport. The property is located at 15901 W. 147th St. Heritage Crossing, a 228-acre business park, is now 94 percent leased. Jason West and Brian Borget of Cushman & Wakefield represented Pepperidge Farm, a cookie, cracker and bread company, in the lease transaction. Dan Leahy, Mark Moran and John Whitehead of NAI Hiffman represented the landlord, ML Realty Partners.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — Energy giants Entergy and ExxonMobil have both signed office leases at Lake Front North in Hughes Landing, a mixed-use development by The Howard Hughes Corp. (NYSE: HHC). The property is located in The Woodlands, about 30 miles north of Houston. Entergy’s new lease totals 54,010 square feet and ExxonMobil’s new lease spans 26,103 square feet. Entergy assumed occupancy in November 2018 and ExxonMobil expects to move in this month.
Cornerstone Realty Capital Arranges $5.7M Acquisition Financing for Apartment Community in New Hampshire

SALEM, N.H. — Cornerstone Realty Capital has arranged a $5.7 million acquisition loan for Rosewood apartments, a 42-unit multifamily complex in Salem. Located in Rockingham County, the property consists of seven, two-story buildings situated in a cul-de-sac setting on a private lot. The property is approximately 30 miles north of Boston. Patrick Brady of Cornerstone Realty Capital secured the financing on behalf of the undisclosed borrower. The lender was also undisclosed. Terms of the financing included four years of interest-only payments.
NEW YORK CITY — Collaborative workspace provider WeWork has signed a 201,231-square-foot lease at One Seaport Plaza in Manhattan. Located at 199 Water St., the 35-story property is owned by Jack Resnick & Sons. The 15-year lease is for WeWork to occupy the top five floors at the property. John Cefaly, Robert Constable, Ethan Silverstein, Stephen Bellwood and Myles Fennon of Cushman & Wakefield represented Jack Resnick & Sons in the transaction with WeWork.
Senior Lifestyle Opens Welcome Center at Seniors Housing Community Near New York City

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. — Senior Lifestyle Corp. has opened a welcome center at The Club at Briarcliff Manor, a seniors housing community in Briarcliff Manor, approximately 25 miles north of Manhattan. A grand opening was recently held for prospective residents, who can start moving into the community in late spring. The Club at Briarcliff Manor features a mix of 287 independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments in two interconnected buildings. The independent living apartments range from 974 square feet to 1,111 square feet. Monthly rents start at $7,350. The name and architecture are an homage to the Briarcliff Lodge, a grand resort hotel built in the early 1900s. The 59-acre property features views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline, numerous walking trails and landscaped grounds originally designed by Frederick Law Olmstead.
OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — Retina Associates, which provides eye care services to the greater Kansas City community, is expanding its practice locally. Beginning in June, the retina specialist will occupy 8,580 square feet on the second floor of 6201 College Boulevard, a seven-story, multi-tenant office building located in Overland Park. Ryan Biery, senior vice president of brokerage at Copaken Brooks, represented 6201 College in the deal, while Mike Sonnenberg from NAI Heartland represented Overland Park-based Retina Associates. One of the major tenants at 6201 College Boulevard is the Polsinelli law firm. Built in 1990 as the headquarters for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the building includes 154,700 square feet of rentable building area. The NCAA moved its headquarters to Indianapolis in 1998, at which point the building was converted to multi-tenant office space.
