TROY, MICH. — Henry Ford Health System has signed a 276,250-square-foot office lease in Troy. The health system will occupy the space at 1414 E. Maple Road. John Boyd and Grant Bruce of Signature Associates represented the landlord, Sure Holdings LLC, in the lease transaction.
WEST CHICAGO, ILL. — Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) has negotiated a 125,000-square-foot industrial lease renewal on behalf of Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. in West Chicago, about 38 miles west of the Windy City. The property is located at 320 Industrial Drive. Phoenix-based Leslie’s, which sells swimming pool and spa supplies, will use the space for warehousing products. Jerry Jacobs of NKF represented Leslie’s in the lease transaction. Adam Marshall and Mark Deady of NKF served as local advisors. David Prell of CBRE represented the landlord, Colony NorthStar Inc.
NEW YORK CITY — Savitt Partners, which owns 530 Seventh Avenue, a 490,000-square-foot office property in Midtown Manhattan, has executed several new leases at the property. Influential Network, an artificial intelligence marketplace, has signed a 1,700-square-foot lease; online designer jewelry marketplace TrueFacet extended its 6,600-square-foot lease with an additional 3,500 square feet; media agency Junction37 inked a deal for 2,100 square feet; and customer experience platform Kustomer renewed its 5,150-square-foot lease. Brian Neugeboren, Nicole Goetz and Bob Savitt of Savitt Partners arranged the lease transactions. Built in 1930, 530 Seventh Avenue is located two blocks south of Times Square at the intersection of 7th Avenue and West 39th Street. It is also the home of The Skylark, a classically styled cocktail lounge.
PREIT has signed three new tenants at Dartmouth Mall in Dartmouth, a city in southeast Massachusetts. Local retailer Newbury Comics will open a 3,900-square-foot store this spring. In the fall, Forever 21 will open an 11,500-square-foot location, and EbLens will open a 6,000-square-foot store. The new leases come on the heels of several recent openings, including a new 23,000-square-foot H&M, and new Encore and Torrid stores. Dartmouth Mall’s AMC Theatres was renovated in 2015.
ORLAND PARK, ILL. — Premier Veterinary Group will open a 10,000-square-foot animal hospital at 7000 W. 159th St. in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park. The company is relocating from Crestwood, Ill. Iris Construction Services is the general contractor for the project. Completion is slated for August. Linda Kost and Dave Schmidt of Realty Metrix Commercial represented the tenant in the lease transaction.
THE COLONY, TEXAS — Three food-and-beverage-based concepts have been added to the tenant roster at Grandscape, the 433-acre mixed-use project in the northern Dallas metro of The Colony that is being developed by Nebraska Furniture Mart. Akira Back Steak, a concept that merges Korean barbecue with the atmosphere of an American steakhouse, will open a 4,000-square-foot restaurant during the first quarter of 2019. Cigars International will open a 6,400-square-foot bar, cigar lounge and retail store during the fourth quarter. Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, a Cajun food concept, will open an 8,500-square-foot restaurant with a patio and beer garden during the second quarter of 2019.
LENEXA, KAN. — The University of Kansas Health System has signed a 105,000-square-foot office lease at 11300 Corporate Ave. in the Southlake Technology Park in Lenexa. Combined with the 67,000 square feet the health system leased in 2017, the branch is now the sole tenant in the 172,000-square-foot building. The health system uses the space for support operations. Southlake Technology Park totals 13 buildings and more than 850,000 square feet of office space. Bob Fagan and Matt Eckert of CBRE represented the health system in the lease transaction. Ned O’Connor of Waterford Property Co. LLC represented ownership, Hines and a fund managed by Oaktree Capital Management LP. The owners completed a renovation of the building in 2016.
WAUKESHA, WIS. — Baldwin Technology Group has signed a 15,152-square-foot office lease in Waukesha, about 20 miles west of Milwaukee. The manufacturer and supplier of process-automation equipment for the printing, packaging and other industrial segments will occupy the space at 20900 Swenson Drive. Ben Anderson and Brandon Ciebell of Colliers International brokered the lease transaction. The landlord was not disclosed.
CARROLLTON, TEXAS — Idaho-based discount grocer WinCo Foods will open an 82,077-square-foot grocery store within Trinity Valley Shopping Center in Carrollton on March 29. The store will occupy an anchor space that was previously leased to Target and was redeveloped following that store’s closing in 2015. For WinCo Foods, an employee-owned grocer, the Trinity Valley location will be its 120th overall.
ADDISON, ILL. — Arjo Inc. has signed a 62,000-square-foot office lease renewal for its North American headquarters in Addison, about 20 miles west of Chicago. The medical technology company is expanding by 18,000 square feet to occupy the entire second floor at Meadows Corporate Center I. Dave Burden of Colliers International negotiated the lease transaction on behalf of Arjo. Over the past 10 years, Arjo has grown steadily from 31,000 square feet to become the largest tenant in the building today, according to Colliers.
