TOTOWA, N.J. — Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as leasing agent for a 113,000-square-foot, Class A office property in Totowa. The property is a former call center located at 515 Union Blvd. and is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar redevelopment by the owner, Totowa Investment Group. Slated for delivery later this year, the building sits on 6.6 acres and offers close proximity to major retailers and hospitality providers along the route 46 corridor. Frank Truesdell, Christian Politan and Adam Matloff of Cushman & Wakefield are heading the assignment.

HOUSTON — Salata, a Houston-based fast casual salad restaurant, is aiming to open an additional 130 restaurants by 2020, including 30 during the remainder of this year. Additional restaurants will be opening in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Oklahoma City, and the company will be rolling out new locations in Florida as well. CBRE will represent Salata in its site selection process and lease negotiations.
ALLEN, TEXAS — Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services has secured a 10,105-square-foot office sublease at 1101 Central Expressway in the northeastern Dallas metro of Allen. Susan Singer and Jared Laake of Bradford represented the sublessor, Insureon Holdings LLC. Calvin Wong of Engvest Commercial Realty LLC represented the sublessee. The two-building office development was built in 2006 and is now 96 percent leased.
Cushman & Wakefield Secures 257,074 SF Industrial Lease with Nestlé Waters in Miami-Dade County

MEDLEY, FLA. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 257,074-square-foot lease with Nestlé Waters North America at Airport North Logistics Park in Medley, roughly 15 miles northwest of Miami. The master-planned logistics park totals 900,000 square feet, and the first phase of the project comprises four buildings. Nestlé Waters will occupy all of Building 3, located at 8501 N.W. 80th St. Wayne Ramoski, Gian Rodriguez and Skylar Stein of Cushman & Wakefield arrangaed the transaction on behalf of the landlord, Dallas-based L&B Realty Advisors LLP. CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin, Marineh Dermovsesian and Larry Genet represented Nestlé Waters. The industrial park features up to 32-foot clear heights and a 190-foot concrete truck court. In addition, the park is located roughly 10 miles from Miami International Airport and 15 miles from Port Miami. Building 1 at the park is fully leased to Neutralogistics and Eco Windows.
YORKTOWN, VA. — Big Lots has leased vacant anchor space totaling 55,000 square feet at Victory Village, a Hampton Roads-area shopping center formerly known as Williamsburg Marketcenter. Situated on Mooretown Road in Yorktown, the 176,000-square-foot shopping center is also leased to Ross Dress for Less, Holloway Sports and Fitness, Buzz Picasso, Uniforms Plus, Retro Daddio, One Main Financial, Dollar Tree, City Nails and Tropical Smoothie Café. Big Lots plans to open in July in the space formerly housing Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods. The Shopping Center Group’s (TSCG) Virginia office represented the landlord, Miami-based Lionheart Capital, in the lease transaction. Debra Ramey and Karen Mikulski of TSCG are the exclusive leasing agents for Victory Village.
NEW ALBANY, OHIO — Red Roof has unveiled plans to open a new, 43,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in New Albany, about 15 miles northeast of Columbus. The office, located at 7815 Walton Parkway, will house 150 corporate employees. The company plans to expand its portfolio of sub-brands, including Red Roof Inn, Red Roof PLUS and The Red Collection. The St. Clair Hotel in Chicago, The Red Collection’s flagship location, is scheduled to open this year.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Silver Group has brokered the sale of a 3,900-square-foot retail property leased to Jack in the Box in Fort Worth. The property is located at 3459 Altamesa Blvd. on the southern outskirts of town. The buyer, seller and sales price were not disclosed.
COLUMBUS, OHIO — Diamonds Direct has opened a 7,026-square-foot store in Columbus. The direct diamond importer will occupy the space at 1330 Polaris Parkway, formerly home to a T.G.I. Friday’s. Glenn Garland of Colliers International represented the tenant in the lease transaction. The landlord was not disclosed. This is the 15th location for Diamonds Direct, which has a flagship store in Charlotte, N.C.
MARIETTA, GA. — Avison Young has arranged a 50,900-square-foot lease for First Data Corp., a leader in commerce-enabling technology and solutions, at 1600 Terrell Mill Road in Marietta. The office building is located less than three miles from the Atlanta Braves’ new home at SunTrust Park and 15 miles north of downtown Atlanta. Jillian Bailey, Rick Nash and Ben Parker of Avison Young arranged the lease on behalf of the landlord, Zamir Equities. The eight-year lease brings the building to full occupancy.
DEARBORN, MICH. — Signature Associates has negotiated a 68,305-square-foot office lease renewal and expansion for Jackson Dawson Communications Inc. and its subsidiary Benmar Communications in Dearborn. The creative marketing and branding company, headquartered in Dearborn, occupies the space at 1 Parklane Blvd. Chris Secontine of Signature Associates represented both the tenant and the landlord, Fairlane Venture One LLC, in the lease transaction.
