BRIGHTON, MICH. — Two new retail tenants are opening at Green Oak Village Place in Brighton, about 50 miles northwest of Detroit. Michigan Makers Marketplace offers a space for local craftsmen and artists to sell their work along with scheduled craft shows. The tenant opened a 4,920-square-foot store in June. StretchLab is a national tenant with nearly 400 studios in North America and 900 licensed locations globally that provides customized one-on-one stretching services. StretchLab is opening a 2,259-square-foot space later this summer. Green Oak Village Place, a retail lifestyle center, features more than 50 shopping and dining tenants.

TROY AND ROCHESTER HILLS, MICH. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Anthology of Troy and Anthology of Rochester Hills, two seniors housing communities totaling 184 units in metro Detroit. The sales price was undisclosed. Jay Wagner, Rick Swartz and Jim Dooley of JLL represented the seller and procured the buyer, spearheaded by MedCore Partners. American House Senior Living Communities assumed management of both properties. Anthology of Troy now operates as American House Somerset. The 93-unit community was built in 2017. Anthology of Rochester Hills now operates as American House Hampton Village. The 91-unit property was completed in 2018.
GROSSE POINTE WOODS, MICH. — Bernard Financial Group (BFG) has arranged a $30.5 million CMBS loan for the refinancing of a 272,312-square-foot mixed-use property in Grosse Pointe Woods, a northeast suburb of Detroit. The asset features office, retail and medical space. Dennis Bernard and Joshua Bernard of BFG arranged the loan on behalf of the borrower, Pointe Plaza Development LLC.
MOUNT CLEMENS, MICH. — Friedman Real Estate has negotiated the $3 million sale of a 42,385-square-foot industrial property in Mount Clemens, about 25 miles north of Detroit. The facility is located at 200 Elizabeth St. Zach Cummings of Friedman represented the seller, which completed a liquidation of its assets. The buyer was a local fabrication company, which will be relocating its operations.
BIRMINGHAM, MICH. — Mid-States Advisors Inc. has signed a five-year lease to open an office at 260 E. Brown St. in downtown Birmingham. Detroit-based Broder Sachse Real Estate owns the property. The tenant is a family-owned boutique financial and business advisory firm specializing in assisting middle-market businesses with mergers and acquisitions, debt placement and fractional CFO services.
PONTIAC, MICH. — The Jonna Group of Colliers Detroit has arranged the sale of a 92,509-square-foot retail property located at 600 N. Telegraph Road in Pontiac for an undisclosed price. Simon Jonna and Raymond Jonna of the brokerage firm represented the seller, a property management company from New York. The new owner, CNS Healthcare, is currently leasing the retail space to Value World Inc. and Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc.
NOVI, MICH. — LK Esthetics has leased 1,400 square feet of retail space at Beck Village Plaza in Novi. The property is located at the southeast quadrant of Beck Road and Pontiac Trail. Jack Melton and Michael Murphy of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the undisclosed landlord, while Haley Kelly of Keller Williams Showcase represented the tenant.
SOUTHGATE, MICH. — Embers Coffee Co. has signed a 4,500-square-foot retail lease at Southgate Shopping Center in Southgate, a southwest suburb of Detroit. Embers will serve coffee roasted by Rootless Coffee of Flint, Mich. The coffee shop is slated to open this fall at 13627 Eureka Road. Greg Hornby of Friedman Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease. The landlord was undisclosed.
DETROIT — Law firm Jacobs & Diemer PC has signed a 5,286-square-foot office lease at 211 W. Fort St. in Detroit. The law firm has more than 70 years of experience as an appellate specialist in the state of Michigan. Andrew Bower of Friedman Real Estate represented the tenant, which is relocating from 500 Griswold St.
GIBRALTAR, MICH. — ARCO Real Estate Co. has acquired Riverside Townhomes in Gibraltar, a southern suburb of Detroit, for $17.1 million. The townhome rental property, located at 14221 Park St., features 136 units. Peter Jankowski and Rich Deptula of Friedman Real Estate represented both the buyer and undisclosed seller.
