HILLIARD, OHIO — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $2.1 million sale of George’s Corner IV, a 4,749-square-foot retail property in Hilliard, approximately 13 miles northwest of Columbus. George’s Corner IV is located at 1840 Hilliard Rome Road. The two-tenant center features Visionworks, an eyewear retailer, and Tom + Chee, a Cincinnati-based specialty grilled-cheese restaurant. The center is a renovated former restaurant located on an outparcel to a Target center. A Memphis, Tenn.-based limited liability company purchased the property. John Reehil and Arthur Kaplan of Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus office represented the seller, a limited liability company.

PALOS HILLS, ILL. — Essex Realty Group Inc. has brokered the $17.1 million sale of 254 units within Scenic Tree Condominiums in Palos Hills. The property is located at 10205 S. 86th Terrace. Scenic Tree Condominiums is a multifamily garden unit community consisting of a total of 448 units. The property is within walking distance of the Green Hills Public Library, Oak Ridge Elementary School and Osborne Park. Doug Fisher of Essex Realty Group represented the undisclosed buyer. Matt Welke and Jason Fishleder of Essex represented the undisclosed seller.
BUFFALO GROVE, ILL. — Entre Commercial Realty has arranged the lease of a 30,000-square-foot industrial building in Buffalo Grove, approximately 33 miles northwest of Chicago. Illinois Masonry Corp. will occupy space located at 1051 Commerce Court. The masonry company is relocating from its current Lake Zurich location to the Northern Builders Buffalo Grove property. The freestanding building features 3,765 square feet of office, a 26.5-foot clear ceiling height, three exterior docks, one drive-in door, and a fenced and secured truck parking lot. In addition to providing a more optimal location for its employees, the site is closer to the interstates. BEDFORD PARK, ILL. — Darwin Realty & Development Corp. has arranged the sale of a 437,910-square-foot industrial facility in Bedford Park, a suburb of Chicago. The property is located at 7035 W. 65th St. The buyer, Professional Freezing Services, is relocating and expanding from its current location on 44th St. in Chicago. The firm plans to demolish the existing facility in Bedford Park and build a new, state-of-the-art, 150,000-square-foot freezer/cooler facility on the site, which is in close proximity to I-55 at Harlem and 1st avenues. Adam Haefner and George Cibula of Darwin represented both the buyer and the private seller.
OMAHA, NEB. — Darland Construction has completed the five-story Jones 13 Apartments in downtown Omaha. Darland’s second project with America First Real Estate Group, the property includes 100 units. Apartments range from studios to two-bedroom units, which are built around a central courtyard. The property features a 57-stall parking garage. Additional amenities include a fitness center with a street view; a courtyard with outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and pergola, water feature and planters. Jones 13 is the second multifamily construction project that Darland has completed for America First Real Estate Group.
CHICAGO — Jones Lang LaSalle Income Property Trust Inc. has acquired a six-story, 366-stall parking garage known as Ohio Ontario Self Park in Chicago for $16.9 million. The parking garage is a component of the mixed-use development located at 33 W. Ontario Street in Chicago’s River North area. The development includes a 59-story, 364-unit condominium tower with its own deeded parking and ground level retail. In conjunction with the acquisition, JLL Income Property Trust entered into a lease with a subsidiary of Imperial Parking, a firm founded in Vancouver in 1962.
MINNEAPOLIS — Oak Grove Capital has originated a $27 million fixed-rate Fannie Mae loan for Oak Residential Partners LLC, for the acquisition of Stratford Woods Apartments, a 297-unit, market-rate multifamily property in Minneapolis. The fixed-rate loan has a 10-year term with four years of interest-only payments and seven years of yield maintenance. The garden-style Stratford Woods Apartments community is comprised of 10 buildings, each containing four floors.
URBANCREST, OHIO — Value Place, an extended-stay hotel brand, has opened a newly constructed hotel in Urbancrest, Ohio. Value Place partnered with VP Columbus LLC to open the new hotel. The hotel is located at 3205 Centerpoint Drive and is within 10 miles of Columbus. The four-story, 124-room hotel features laundry facilities, high-speed wireless Internet and modified kitchens. The opening of this hotel brings the brand’s hotel count in Ohio to 13, with locations in Dayton, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
COON RAPIDS, MINN. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $4.1 million sale of Crest Oak Apartments, a 60-unit apartment property located in Coon Rapids. The property is located at 9930 Bluebird St. Northwest. The 1970s Class C apartment property includes a mix of 26 one-bedroom apartments and 33 two-bedroom apartments. Dan Linnell and Mox Gunderson of Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office represented both the undisclosed seller and the buyer in the transaction.
LOGANSPORT, IND. — The Cooper Commercial Investment Group has arranged the $2.9 million sale of an 18,600-square-foot retail property in Logansport, approximately 30 miles northeast of Lafayette. Cass County Commons is located at the corner of Mall Road and Lexington Road. Wal-Mart shadow anchors the property. Tenants include Buffalo Wild Wings, Maurice’s, Great Clips, Petsense and Arnold’s Jewelry. Dan Cooper of Cooper Commercial’s Cleveland office represented the seller, an Indiana-based private investor. A Connecticut-based private investment group purchased the property.
