EDWARDSVILLE, KAN. — Premier Beverage, a wholly owned subsidiary of Glazer's of Kansas, has acquired an industrial property located at 1100 Blake St. in Edwardsville. The 245,000-square-foot industrial building, which was formerly occupied by Appleton Paper Co., sold for an undisclosed price. M&I Regional Properties LLC, the real estate arm of M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank of Milwaukee, sold the property. David Zimmer of Zimmers Cos. represented the seller; Whitney Kerr of Cassidy Turley represented the buyer in the transaction.

SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Performance Food Group (PFG) is expanding its 80,000-square-foot PERFORMANCE Foodservice – Roma distribution facility in Springfield. The company plans to add 35,000 square feet to the existing property. The expansion will result in a $5.2 million in capital investment in the Springfield area. PERFORMANCE Foodservice Roma's Springfield facility serves more than 1,500 customers throughout a nine-state area, which includes pizzerias, Italian and Mexican restaurants and regional chains.
NEW BALTIMORE AND DETROIT, MICH. — NAI Farbman has brokered two sales totaling 157,175 square feet in Michigan. In the first transaction, Comerica Bank sold a 23,175-square-foot property, located at 51513 Industrial Dr. in New Baltimore, to Tipro Properties LLC for an undisclosed price. Jeffrey Cavazos and Paul DeBono of NAI Farbman represented the seller. In the second transaction, NAI Farbman's Brian Crawford represented both parties in the acquisition of a 134,000-square-foot facility at 6500 E. Davison in Detroit. Focus Hope sold the property to Grand Papa's for an undisclosed price.
DOWNERS GROVE, ILL. — Opus Development Corp. has completed the disposition of Highland Landmark V office building in Downers Grove. Highland V-CPF LLC purchased the property for an undisclosed price. The eight-story, 251,235-square-foot, multi-tenant office building is located within Highland Landmark Office Park, which is located at the corner of Interstate 88 and Highland Avenue. The building is occupied by DeVry Inc. and Dover Corp.
SHOREWOOD, ILL. — An undisclosed limited liability company has acquired a 4,800-square-foot retail property in Shorewood. Located at 691 Brook Forest Ave., the property, which is leased by Citibank, sold for $3.22 million. The building is a hard corner pad site to a The Home Depot-anchored retail center. Jamie Medress and Mark Ruble of Marcus & Millichap's Phoenix office represented the buyer. John Przybyla, also of Marcus & Millichap, assisted in the transaction. The seller was not disclosed.
CAHOKIA, EAST ALTON AND EFFINGHAM, ILL. — The BARBERMurphy Group has brokered three commercial real estate transactions in Illinois. In the first deal, BARBERMurphy represented Momentum Church Inc. in the disposition of a 28,000-square-foot church at 93 Water St. in Cahokia to The Gateway Area Bible Fellowship for an undisclosed price. Additionally, BARBERMurphy represented Berco Construction in the acquisition of a 28,147-square-foot industrial building at 600 W. MacArthur Dr. in East Alton from Landreth Land LLC for an undisclosed price. In the final transaction, BARBERMurphy represented Donnewald Distributing in the sale of a 14,050-square-foot distribution center, located at 1408 E. Fayette Road in Effingham, to Versa Tech for an undisclosed price.
BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — Atlanta-based Premier Transportation has leased 164,355 square feet at Highland Corporate Center Building #2 in Bolingbrook. The fully leased, 328,709-square-foot industrial facility features 30-foot clear ceiling heights, 40 exterior docks and trailer storage. Jason West and Sean Henrick of Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction. The property was developed by ML Realty Partners. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — J.C. Anderson has completed a 35,000-square-foot build-out for Career Education Corp. in Schaumburg. Located at 915 National Parkway within Parkway Corporate Place, the project included demolition of existing the suite and build-out of a new office space, including ceilings, flooring, offices, training rooms and break rooms. IA Interior Architects provided architectural services for the project.
OMAHA, NEB. — World Group Commercial Real Estate has brokered the lease of 120,000 square feet of industrial space in Omaha. Lincoln Structural Solutions, a division of Omaha-based Owen Industries, has leased the space, which is located at 110th and E Circle, for a 5-year lease with an option to buy. The company is relocating from Lincoln, Neb., and plans to open the facility in May. Trenton Magid of World Group represented the landlord, Schumacher Enterprises, in the transaction. Additional terms of the lease were not released.
CHICAGO — Stifel Nicolaus has selected Reed Construction to complete a 50,000-square-foot office build-out for the company's Chicago office. Located within Three First National Plaza at 70 W. Madison, the build-out project includes the renovation of the 24th and 25th floors, including the construction of a new lobby, new executive offices with glass and wood-crafted facades, and a new video-conferening system. Whitney Associates is providing architectural services for the project, which is slated for completion this spring.
