CHICAGO — Steven D Construction has purchased a 2.82-acre industrial land site located at 2000 W. 43rd St. within Stockyards Industrial Park in Chicago. The company plans to redevelop the existing office buildings and use the land for equipment storage. OMAHA, NEB. — The Omaha regional office of NorthMarq Capital has arranged a first mortgage for Bennington Hill Apartments, a 129-unit multifamily property located in Sioux Falls. S.D. The $6.5 million loan carries a 10-year term with a 30-year amortization schedule. John Reed of NorthMarq arranged the financing for Bennington Hill LLC through an affiliate, AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance.
FRANKLIN, WIS. — Franklin Drive LLC has acquired a 13,500-square-foot office building in Franklin. Located at 9875 S. Franklin Dr., the property sold for $1.57 million. Lyle Landowski of Inland Cos. brokered the transaction. The seller was not disclosed.
CLEVELAND — Horizon Science Academy has signed a lease for an approximately 40,000-square-foot building, which is located at 2261 Columbus Rd. in Cleveland. The property is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Ken Anderson of CRESCO Real Estate represented the tenant in the transaction. Additional terms of the lease were not disclosed.
CARMEL, IND. — Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) has leased 28,000 square feet of office space at The James Building, which is located within Carmel City Center in Carmel. Construction of the building began this month. SEP will be relocating its 75-person staff from Meridian Mark I at 116th and Meridian streets to the new property. In the second transaction, OHorizons inked a deal for 4,787 square feet of office space within Wilshire Plaza North, which is located at 900 Wilshire Dr. in Troy, from West Huron Joint Venture. In the final transaction, Sensata Technologies signed a lease for 3,950 square feet of office space at Crystal Glen Office Centre, which is located at 39555 Orchard Hill Pl. in Novi. Friedman’s David Verderbar represented the landlord, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., in the transaction. The values of the leases were not disclosed.
NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Jackson Commercial Real Estate and Community Health Network have developed Hamilton Healthcare Campus, a two-building medical office facility located at the southwest corner of 146th Street and Cumberland Road in Noblesville. Community Health Network will occupy 40,000 square feet of the 122,000-square-foot campus. The facility will include primary care services provided by Community Physicians of Indiana; physician specialists; a MedChek; imaging services; rehab and sports medicine; and a Community Conference Center for patient education and community groups.

In the first transaction, Eastside Production Products has leased a 10,676-square-foot building located at 12475 Thirty One Mile Rd. in Washington. PEORIA, ILL. — Jillian’s, a nationwide chain of restaurant/entertainment venues, is opening a new location at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie in Peoria. Scheduled to open in late 2009 or early 2010, the property will feature a Video Café, a full bar, lunch and dinner options, The 9-Ball Lounge, The Amazing Games Room, Hi Life Lanes, nightclub entertainment and dancing, and conference rooms for business meetings.
