NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Jackson Commercial Real Estate and Community Health Network have developed Hamilton Healthcare Campus, a two-building medical office facility located at the southwest corner of 146th Street and Cumberland Road in Noblesville. Community Health Network will occupy 40,000 square feet of the 122,000-square-foot campus. The facility will include primary care services provided by Community Physicians of Indiana; physician specialists; a MedChek; imaging services; rehab and sports medicine; and a Community Conference Center for patient education and community groups.

WASHINGTON AND NOVI, MICH. — L. Mason Capitani has brokered two leases in Michigan. In the first transaction, Eastside Production Products has leased a 10,676-square-foot building located at 12475 Thirty One Mile Rd. in Washington. The company is expanding from its Macomb Township, Mich., facility. The landlord and value was not disclosed. Joe DePonio and Jason Capitani of L. Mason Capitani represented the tenant. In the second transaction, American Mitsuba Corp. has inked a deal for 5,990 square feet of space at 41651 W. Eleven Mile Rd. in Novi. L. Mason Capitani’s Garrett Middlekauff, Gary Grochowski and Mason Capitani facilitated the transaction.
PEORIA, ILL. — Jillian’s, a nationwide chain of restaurant/entertainment venues, is opening a new location at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie in Peoria. Scheduled to open in late 2009 or early 2010, the property will feature a Video Café, a full bar, lunch and dinner options, The 9-Ball Lounge, The Amazing Games Room, Hi Life Lanes, nightclub entertainment and dancing, and conference rooms for business meetings. The restaurant/entertainment venue will be located in the former Linens ‘N Things outlet, between Bergner’s and Borders. The Shoppes at Grand Prairie is managed by Cullinan Properties.
MACOMB TOWNSHIP AND DETROIT, MICH. — LaKritz-Weber & Co. has brokered two retail leases in Michigan. Leo’s Coney Island has leased 4,100 square feet of retail space within Sargent Appliance shopping center at 20265 Hall Rd. in Macomb Township. Tony Schmitt and Adam Goodman of LaKritz-Weber represented the landlord, Skolas Development, in the transaction. Additionally, The Weave Shop has inked a deal for 1,800 square feet of retail space within Riverbend Plaza at 13310 E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit. Steven Band of Band Commercial Real Estate Co. represented the tenant; Adam Goodman and Gabe Schuchman of LaKritz-Weber represented the landlord, Riverbend Properties II, in the transaction. The values of the leases were not disclosed.
NORTHBROOK, ILL. — Locally owned The Cloverleaf Group has acquired Sanders Court, a 136,219-square-foot grocery-anchored neighborhood center in Northbrook. Located at the intersection of Dundee and Sanders roads, the property is tenanted by Dominick’s, Staples, Fitness 19, Subway, Curves, Sally Beauty Supply and Butterfield’s Pancake House & Restaurant. Sanders Court Partners sold the property for an undisclosed price. Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Mid-America Real Estate Corp. represented the seller; the buyer had in-house representation.
DETROIT — The construction of Wayne State University’s Richard J. Mazurek M.D. Medical Education Commons is now complete. Located in Detroit, the $35 million project comprised a 34,000-square-foot addition to the existing medical school facility and a 69,000-square-foot renovation to the existing Vera Parshall Shiffman Medical Library. The three-story complex features a clinical skills center with four stimulation labs, new computer labs, a testing center, student services, classrooms, collaborative study areas and administrative offices. SHW Group designed the project, which is seeking LEED Silver certification.
COLLINSVILLE, ILL. — Swansea, Ill.-based Holland Construction Service, serving as general contractor, has broken ground for the construction of Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital in Collinsville. Located at 5230 Horseshoe Lake Rd., the $1 million facility will offer 5,621 square feet of space, including seven exam rooms, a surgery suite, a dental exam room, conference and consultation rooms, separate dog and cat wards for hospitalized pets, a waiting area and a pharmacy. The existing building will be redesigned to accommodate grooming facilities and an upscale boarding facility. Fairview Heights, Ill.-based EWR Associates provided architectural services for the project.
ALTON, ILL. — Alton Square Mall is currently undergoing renovations, and expanding and relocating tenants. Opened in 1978, the two-level, 635,000-square-foot regional mall is located at the intersection of Homer Adams Parkway and Alton Square Mall Drive in Alton. Maurice’s has expanded from 4,276 to more than 6,700 square feet of space across from New York & Co. on the lower level. Crown Optical has expanded to 2,000 square feet and relocated to new location. Additionally, MasterCuts has renovated its 658-square-foot space, which is adjacent to JC Penney. Addison, Texas-based Coyote Management owns and manages the property.
EAST ST. LOUIS, ILL. — SEVENS, a sports lounge and entertainment venue, has opened at Casino Queen in East St. Louis. The $2.15 million, 6,250-square-foot facility features high-definition flat screen televisions, a retractable projection screen and a 360-square-foot elevated stage, as well as a dining menu and full service bar. St. Louis-based KAI Design and Build provided architectural services for the property. Legacy Building Group served as general contractor. Additional project partners include AmeriStructure, Ford Food Service, Lighting Solutions and Cignal.
OLATHE, KAN. — BMJ Building Management has acquired an industrial building in Olathe for an undisclosed price. Located at 15765 S. Keeler, the property offers 27,840 square feet of industrial space. The seller was Mid-America Associates. Lynn Holcomb of Coldwell Banker Commercial Fishman & Co. brokered the transaction.
