NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Jackson Commercial Real Estate is nearing completion for Hamilton Healthcare Campus, a two-building medical office project located at the corner of 146th Street and Cumberland Road in Noblesville. The building's first tenant, Community Health Network, has already committed to occupy 40,000 square feet of one of the buildings, a three-story, 122,000-square-foot structure. The ribbon cutting for the new facility will be held in October.

WASHINGTON, IND., AND PLYMOUTH, MICH. — McKinley has been appointed receiver for two retail properties in Indiana and Michigan. Daviess County Circuit Court of Daviess County, Ind., appointed McKinley as receiver for Washington Plaza, a 92,000-square-foot retail center in Washington. Current tenants include Hometown IGA, Dollar General and Rent-A-Center. Additionally, McKinley has been appointed receiver of a 30,000-square-foot retail building in Plymouth. The multi-tenant building is occupied by Laird’s Auto Glass, Enterprise Car Rental and a collision shop. The appointment was made by Wayne County, Ind., Circuit Court.

BATTLEFIELD, MO. — Chambers Real Estate Services has brokered the sale of a 32-acre land parcel located at the corner of state highways M and FF in Battlefield. The buyer, Larino Properties, plans to develop the site into a grocery-anchored shopping center named Wilson Creek Marketplace. The anchor tenant will be a 52,000-square-foot Price Cutter. The construction timetable for the project was not disclosed.

CHICAGO — MB Real Estate has arranged the sublease of a 25,771-square-foot business center located in Chicago. Regus will be occupying the space, which is situated at 321 N. Clark St. MB's Daniel Nikitas represented Regus. Jones Lang LaSalle's Monica Moore, Molly Carroll and Michael Tirpak represented the undisclosed sublessor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

CHARDON, OHIO — The Silver Group has completed the sale of a single-tenant, un-subordinated ground lease located in Chardon. The 1-acre parcel is an outlot of Meadowlands Town Center. It is occupied by the bank Home Savings under a 22-year, absolute net agreement. The Silver Group was the sole broker in the transaction between the two undisclosed parties. The sale price was $800,000.

While the Wichita industrial market may lack the size of its neighbor to the east — Kansas City — it still has a strong and relatively stable presence. Wichita is driven by the aviation industry, and several major aircraft manufacturers and suppliers call the city home. Overall, Wichita has traditionally been an owner-use market with some leasing from larger national companies. With the credit markets dried up and a construction pipeline that has never been that large to begin with, most activity in Wichita lately has been leasing. “January through April, leasing activity was pretty slim, but we are starting to see a lot more inquiries; there are a lot more people in the market looking to relocate, mostly to keep their rents the same in a newer facility,” says Bradley Tidemann, an associate with locally based J.P. Weigand & Sons. Some notable transactions include Weckworth Manufacturing’s purchase of a 100,000-square-foot facility south of the city in Haysville. The owner-user had previously been leasing. In addition, a 50,000-square-foot office and flex warehouse deal is expected to close this month to a local owner-user. NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Ceres Enterprises has held the grand opening for the new Cambria Suites in Noblesville. The hotel features 132 suites and three meeting rooms with more than 3,000 square feet of space. Amenities include a restaurant, a fitness center with an indoor swimming pool and a spa, and a 24-hour convenience store. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Verizon Wireless Music Center and the Hamilton Town Center shopping center. Ceres owns and operates the hotel under a franchise agreement with Choice Hotels International.

GALLIPOLIS, OHIO — Columbus, Ohio-based Cooper Commercial Investment Group has brokered the sale of Gallipolis Marketplace, a 25,950-square-foot retail property located in Gallipolis. Situated at 2145 Eastern Ave., the building is shadow-anchored by Walmart Supercenter. Tenants at the center include GameStop, Fantastic Sam's, AT&T, Radio Shack, Sally Beauty Supply, Dollar Tree and others. Dan Cooper of the Copper Group represented the seller, Developers Diversified Realty Corp. The acquisition price was not disclosed but the property traded at an 8.75 percent cap rate.
