MADISON, WIS. — CRG has completed Chapter Madison, a 534-bed student housing development neighboring the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Located in the heart of Madison’s historic Greenbush neighborhood and designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative, the 10-story project features 165 units in various floor plans ranging from studios to five bedrooms. Amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, private study spaces and a rooftop terrace. The development also features a cultural exhibit that pays homage to the area’s heritage through murals and a first-floor corridor display. Chapter Madison is fully leased.

SHEBOYGAN, WIS. — Burlington Stores Inc. has signed a 22,000-square-foot retail lease at Memorial Mall in Sheboygan, about 55 miles north of Milwaukee. The property is located at 3347 Kohler Memorial Drive. Mike Fitzgerald and Dan Rosenfeld of Mid-America Real Estate represented the landlord, Meijer Stores LP.

CHICAGO — Core Spaces has completed six student housing communities totaling 4,549 beds across the United States. All six communities have opened to residents ahead of the 2024-2025 school year. The communities are all located near the campuses of major universities, including UC Berkeley, University of Cincinnati, Penn State, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Clemson University. The six new properties include: The communities feature a variety of high-end, student-focused amenities. For example, ōLiv Madison boasts a spa, sauna, fitness center, coworking spaces, private study rooms and a sprawling rooftop sundeck with pool and hot tub. Each property offers a diverse mix of floor plans and unit types to appeal to a range of resident needs and price points. “After years of work to bring a project to life, welcoming new residents home is one of the best parts of what we do,” said Marc Lifshin, CEO of Core Spaces. JANESVILLE, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $2.4 million sale of a newly constructed retail property occupied by Sherwin-Williams in Janesville, a city in southern Wisconsin. Constructed this year, the building is located at 3301 Deerfield Drive and serves as an outparcel to Pine Tree Plaza, a 184,834-square-foot shopping center. MIDDLETON, WIS. — The Kickback Bar, a bar and arcade with over 30 pinball and arcade games, is opening this Friday at Middleton Market Food Hall in the Wisconsin city of Middleton. Located at 1139 W. Main St., the property is 94 percent occupied by tenants such as Jimmy Johns, Anytime Fitness, Cozumel Mexican Restaurant and Beijing Buffet. BALDWIN, WIS. — NAI Pfefferle has arranged the sale of a 17,000-square-foot office building in Baldwin, about 50 miles east of Minneapolis. The property is located at 890 Spruce St. The sales price was undisclosed, but the asking price was $2.3 million. TJ Morice of NAI Pfefferle and Don Timmerman of Keller Williams brokered the sale.

MADISON, WIS. — CBRE has negotiated the sale of Royster Commons and 515@Royster, two apartment properties totaling 174 units in Madison. Weidner Apartment Homes purchased the communities from Ruedebusch Development & Construction for $34 million. Gretchen Richards, Patrick Gallagher, Matson Holbrook and Ted Nevermann of CBRE represented the seller. CBRE also provided acquisition financing for the buyer. Built in 2019, Royster Commons includes 86 units averaging 956 square feet each. Constructed in 2022, the 88-unit 515@Royster features floor plans averaging 791 square feet each.

FITCHBURG, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Sun Valley Apartments in Fitchburg, a southern suburb of Madison. The sales price was undisclosed. Built in 1975 and renovated in 2011, the multifamily property consists of 204 units across 12 buildings. Amenities include a fitness center, playground, leasing office and wooded green spaces. Matthew Whiteside of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Sierra West LLC, and procured the buyer, Monarch Investment and Management Group.
