DEFOREST, WIS. — Ryan Companies US Inc. has broken ground on a 130,000-square-foot office and processing facility for The Little Potato Company in DeForest, approximately 17 miles northeast of Madison. The new facility will be located along the western edge of US Hwy. 51 and east of Stevenson Street in the DeForest Business Park. The facility, situated on a 15.9-acre site, is scheduled to open in early 2017. The Little Potato Company, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is a grower and distributor of creamer potatoes.

WEST ALLIS, WIS. — The Dickman Company Inc./CORFAC International has arranged a 31,890-square-foot industrial lease in West Allis, approximately seven miles west of Milwaukee. NexGen Building Supply will occupy the space at 1707 S. 101st St. The landlord is Univar USA Inc. Zach Noble and Cale Berg of The Dickman Company brokered the transaction.
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. — Senior Lifestyle Corp. has opened The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, a 100-unit assisted living and memory care community in Pleasant Prairie, located on the Illinois border approximately midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Construction of the 85,000-square-foot facility began in December 2014. The community is located on a nine-acre plot and features two memory care communities. Senior Lifestyle Corp. is a developer, owner and operator of seniors housing communities based in Chicago. The company’s portfolio includes 170 communities in 26 states.
STURTEVANT, WIS. — The Dickman Company, Inc./CORFAC International has brokered the sale of a 187,000-square-foot industrial building for an undisclosed price. The building is located at 2620 90th St. in Sturtevant, approximately 30 miles south of Milwaukee. RKB Enterprises LLC sold the building to 90th Street Industrial LLC. Samuel M. Dickman Jr., Samuel D. Dickman and Zach Noble of The Dickman Company brokered the transaction.
SUSSEX, WIS. — The Barry Company has brokered the sale of a 31,200-square-foot industrial building in Sussex, approximately 23 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Golner Precision Products Inc. purchased the building, located at W222 N5734 Miller Way, from RLP Rentals for an undisclosed price. Golner Precision plans to remodel the former Spectrum Electric building and intends to expand the facility at a later time. Curt Pitzen of MLG Commercial represented Golner Precision Products in the transaction, and James Young of The Barry Company represented the seller.
EAU CLAIRE, WIS. — DoubleTree by Hilton has reopened a 112-room hotel in Eau Claire after a $21 million rebuild. Pablo Properties owns The Lismore Hotel Eau Claire, and Interstate Hotels & Resorts manages the property. The eight-story hotel’s design and name is inspired by the city of Lismore, Australia. Amenities at the property include a 24-hour fitness facility, 24-hour business center, full-service restaurant, coffee shop, bar and 14,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes a 7,200-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate 620 guests. Plans also include the addition of an indoor pool. Guest rooms feature skyline and river views, 42-inch high-definition televisions, mini-refrigerators, coffeemakers and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Lismore Hotel Eau Claire – a DoubleTree by Hilton is located at 333 Gibson St.
MILWAUKEE — The Dickman Company Inc./CORFAC International has brokered the sale of a 41,350-square-foot industrial building in Milwaukee for an undisclosed price. DDE Enterprises LLC purchased the building, located at 5501 and 5407 W. Mill Road, from INX International Ink Co. Nick Keys of The Dickman Company represented the buyer in the transaction, and Tony Haning of JLL represented the seller.
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. — Majestic Realty Co. will develop a new 424,164-square-foot industrial facility at its Majestic Badger Logistics Center in Pleasant Prairie, approximately 40 miles south of Milwaukee near the Illinois border. The speculative building is the first of two new facilities that will add over 1.2 million square feet of space to the 88-acre site. The property will feature 36-foot clear heights, 50-by-52 foot bays, an ESFR sprinkler system, 111 trailer parking stalls, 292 car parking spaces and a 370-foot combined truck courtyard. The Class A building can accommodate four tenants and will be delivered by the end of this year.
BROOKFIELD, WIS. — Siegel-Gallagher has negotiated a 3,335-square-foot office lease in Brookfield, approximately 13 miles west of Milwaukee. Atlas Chiropractic will occupy space at Arbor Terrace I. AH Holding LLC and Wabash Acceptance LLC own the property located at 333 Bishops Way. Shaun Dempsey of Siegel-Gallagher brokered the transaction.
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. — CenterPoint Properties will develop a new 200,696-square-foot industrial building within LakeView Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie, approximately 40 miles south of Milwaukee. The speculative building, LakeView Corporate Center, can accommodate up to three tenants. The facility will feature LED lighting, 32-foot clear heights, 20 exterior docks, two drive-in doors, 18 trailer parking spaces and office space to suit. LakeView Corporate Park is an 11 million-square-foot development that is home to over 80 tenants. The project is currently spread over 2,400 acres and has more than 200 acres remaining for future development.
